Sno-Crave has misleading service hours. According to staff, their closing hours are based on management’s decision of whether or not there’s enough business. This did not bid well with me as I went to Sno-Crave to work on a project that was due soon and expected to stay until closing. They closed an hour earlier than stated. While this has impacted my decision on Sno-Crave, the food and desserts themselves are not bad. My girlfriend and I had the Oreo version of the Brick Toast. I have had better brick toasts with a superior consistency of flavor. The brick toast’s bread was too hard(not a tasty crunchy), and they added the toppings we requested they leave off(marshmallows). Oh well, at least I had a colorful diet that meal. :^)

Food: I always order the Taiwanese spicy hotpot which is pretty spicy but a little too oily for my taste. Their toasts are also really good but the wait time is so long :(but that’s alright because it tastes so good! Overall their food is good and if you’re craving some hotpot you should definitely check out this place! Drinks: nothing special but still good. Service: their servers are usually really nice and friendly. They taught me how to cut my toast and recommended me which foods to try the first time I came! Price: their prices are decent/good coming from a high school student who doesn’t have a job xD Overall it’s a good place to hang out with your friends. They always play a movie and provide games to keep you entertained during your wait.

Came on a Friday evening for dessert, and many were in the midst of eating hot pot. We were seated at a dirty table(still had cooked meat on the table) and asked for it to be cleaned. We ordered the fresh milk ice with condensed milk(free) and strawberries($ 1 extra). We were given a dirty plastic spoon and asked for another. The ice cream had a really bizarre texture at the end, almost like when you eat ice cream that’s been sitting in the freezer way too long. I didn’t enjoy it very much, and don’t think I’d be back if that’s the norm.

Went there after brunch with friends. It was a good place to go and have some milk tea and sweets. They have you’re usual milk tea boba drinks(which I got) but also others that I don’t see at other places like Raspberry Herbal Tea(I’ll try that next time). They have no small drinks just regular, large and xtra large! Plus you can also add popping boba too, and I’ve only known one other place that offers this and that’s in the City and this is the second Sno-Crave I’ve seen offer this on the menu so that would mean they all offer it. Friends each got a crêpe and we shared a huge ice cream toast dessert thing which amazingly we finished, but barely survived afterwards. So they also had individual, what looked like, hot pots and that day’s weather was perfect for it. Perhaps next time… Come here if you want sweet drinks and desserts and talk loud with friends but definitely not a place for a quiet setting of any kind but good enough for a small group of friends to unwind and kick it who are not craving to get drunk for the night.

This was my first time here on a date with my girlfriend. We ordered Green Tea Milk Tea with Honey Buttered Toast and Strawberry Ice Cream. Total should be around $ 9.14. The main thing I came here was for the Honey Buttered Toast which I had a high expectation of because I had a similar type of dish in San Diego. My expectations were not met because it was just too hard to eat. I’m not saying it is a bad Honey Toast but if it was more on the soft side for me when I tried it, I would give a thumbs up. My ideal Honey Buttered Toast should be in between of soft and hard. For the Strawberry Ice Cream, that was really good because I’m a big fan of ice cream in general even if it is cold outside. The Green Tea Milk Tea was not as I expected it to be. The flavor was very bland even without ice that I typically order and I felt as though they forgot to put in the Green Tea. Would I come back? I believe I will come back and give this place another chance because they almost hit the spot for the Honey Buttered Toast. If you’re in the area, give this place a shot!

Stopped by with my sister and BF to get hot pot. I got the beef one with the thai broth while my BF and sister got the spicy broth with their choice of meat. My broth was okay but not well rounded, I mostly dipped my meats and veggies in sauce after I fished them out of my hot pot. My BF and sister hated their broth, they said it tastes really gross and they felt sick after eating it. They ended up fishing out their meats and washing the flavor out in my broth before eating it. Drinks here are okay, they aren’t amazing but they are overpriced in my opinion. Hot pots are better elsewhere such as Boiling Point and Tasty Pot. Dessert is probably better than the hot pot here, as I saw a lot of people enjoying their snow and brick toasts.

I usually come here for the shaved ice because this place opens later than other dessert places in the area. Today, I tried the hotpot and was surprised as it was better than I expected for a place that specializes in drinks and shaved snow! I got the Tomyum soup base with instant noodles and beef. I thought the tomyum might be too overwhelming to be a soup base but the taste was subtle yet flavorful! The fish balls and narutos had a little bit of a frozen taste to it but it wasn’t too bad. For the price, the portion was large and the food was decent but I might just be more into traditional hot pot. Try it if you’re looking for a good deal and something a little different!

This review is just for their HOT drinks, not their other drinks/food. I got a hot grass jelly drink since it was really cold day and was look forward for some nice hot hot grass jelly to warm me up. Yes, when I got it was hot, but that was the best that it was. Usually hot grass jelly is a viscous jelly drink with grass jelly pieces in it and other different jellies. However my drink was only a light watered down drink with no grass jelly pieces. There were other things such as boba and barley in my drink but there was not much else. For that drink, it definitely was not worth $ 5.50 at all. I’m guessing they use a grass jelly powder and just add water to it because when I got up to leave, I saw a clear container with black powder labeled«grass jelly». If you’re looking for some actual hot grass jelly, I’d recommend going elsewhere. Probably stick with the more popular milk teas, desserts, and hotpot here!

This review is ONLY for the hot pot, nothing else, for this particular location. I feel like this needs to be a disclaimer, since I used to frequent the location in Fremont for the drinks and snacks, but not for hot pot there. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4. I came here for hot pot for dinner on a weekend night to meet up with friends. At first I was a bit wary since this is primarily a boba + snacks place, so how could they possibly have good dinner food? However, the pictures that reviewers post look delicious, so I was willing to try it out. The ordering process was pretty simple: you choose a soup base, which they had a good selection of: miso, Chinese herbal, tom yum, and Taiwanese spicy(there might be more). I got the Taiwanese spicy, husband go the tom yum, and someone else at the table got the herbal. I was able to try all three, and all three were delicious– you can’t go wrong! Each person has their own personal pot, and each pot was chockfull of goodies– corn on the cob, enoki, shitaki mushroom, napa cabbage, a normal egg, quail egg, tofu, imitation fish, fish balls, tomato, carrots, and I’m probably forgetting a few others. You then get to choose the type of meat — beef, pork, chicken, lamb, seafood, or veggie. Pros: — lots of good yummy soup bases to choose from — pot comes with a great variety of goodies, UNLIKEBOILNGPOINT which has«variety», but you get literally one of each item. Cons: — meat is pretty bad quality. half of my lamb were just fatty pieces that were inedible. If you’re into the fat, then it’s good. Other than the subpar quality of meat though, everything else was on point. I would come back again, and hopefully the meat quality is not always that bad. I’m not a big meat person anyway, so the yummy soup + great variety of other goods make up for it.

I came here on Sunday for lunch with a group of three and we were probably the only party there for the better part of our stay. We each ordered a hot pot; I ordered the miso base with beef. The food was not bad, but nothing special. In the past, I’ve ordered the snow ice which I think is one of the main selling points of the place. In my opinion, snow ice should be fluffy and light. The snow ice here, on the other hand, is dense and overly sweet with crunchy ice sheets as opposed to fluffy melt in your mouth flakes. I never want any more than a few bites. What really annoys me about this place is its shading pricing. On the menu, hotpot is around $ 11 for lunch and $ 13 for dinner. When our bill came, it was $ 13 for each hotpot. According to the waiter, it is dinner price all day, just on Sundays! This wasn’t listed anywhere on the menu, and to be frank I felt rather ripped off. Is Sunday a special day for hotpot? Do you charge extra on Sundays to make up for your lack of traffic? Regardless, any price changes or deviations should be listed on the menu, or somewhere in the store in plain sight. I expect to pay the price listed on the menu, not the price arbitrarily determined by the shop owner. Is two bucks per person a big deal? Maybe not. But the waiter’s explanation that«it’s always been like that» doesn’t really appease me, sorry.

Drinks: pricey and average tasting. A bit more expensive than other boba/tea places in the area, but it comes in a fancy-shaped glass if that makes a difference. Desserts: the better selling point. I’ve had the snow ice(taro is my favorite) and the brick toast. Ask for condensed milk(for«free») on your snow ice if you want it sweetened. Hot pot: average. It comes with a variety of items, but your meat comes in/on top of your soup already, so make sure to eat it first or it’ll become too tough. Con: I found out today that hot pot is the«dinner» price all day(even at lunch) on Sundays. This isn’t noted on the menu anywhere nor did I see signs about it in the store. Seems like false advertising to me… Overall, it’s a nice hang out spot with both food(albeit limited selection) and drinks/desserts. It’s also open late and relatively not busy during lunch hours so there’s typically no wait then.

I used to only come here for desserts, and thought it was okay. I didn’t know if I wanted to try the hotpot since I felt like it was more of a dessert place. I tried the hotpot recently and FELLINLOVE. I like this place so much better than Boiling Point(especially since it doesn’t smell like stinky tofu inside). Also, service is great! The servers are attentive and friendly. My favorite out of the four flavors is the Thai Tom Yum. It’s filled with meat, noodles of your choice, cabbage, fish balls, enoki mushrooms, 1 carrot(that I always take out), bamboo, egg, tomato, tofu, and MORE. Some desserts I would recommend: Milk shaved ice and sweet toast. ***If you don’t know what soup flavor to pick, ask them for samples!*** Also, I wouldn’t get the strawberry shaved ice because it tasted kind of grainy and artificial.

Three stars from the honey toast. Five stars for the ice cream. I ordered their green tea milk tea. I did not like it at all. It was super diluted even without the ice in there. $ 3.95 The honey toast was a bit hard to eat. It was too crunchy I guess you could say as what I’m used to. $ 3.45(honey buttered toast) However their ice cream is phenomenal! Super rich flavored with an awesome texture! Reminded me of a gelato! I would probably come back for the ice cream and that’s it. Total: $ 9.14

Sno-crave was my first meal in Cupertino when I came back to visit for Labor Day Weekend. What a sad and regretful first meal. My mom took my boyfriend and I here because she knows we love hot pot. I asked one of the servers if they had any MSG in the food. He said he didn’t know. and he just guessed. He kept saying I’m pretty sure this broth has it. but I’m not sure about that broth. Then he went to go ask finally said said that some broths had it and some broths don’t. My boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese Spicy Lamb and I ordered the Seafood with Herbal Broth. When they brought our orders out, I realized that my broth was spicy… The server said that they had gotten our orders mixed up. Mine had the spicy broth while my boyfriends had the herbal broth. He took both our hotpots back and said they will re-make them for us. When he brought out the new hot pots. I realized that a lot of food was missing from my pot. There weren’t any tofus, fish balls, tempura and they also had gotten the noodle wrong too. I saw that my boyfriend had a LOT of fishballs, tempura and also had my noodle too. Basically, the kitchen just took out all the food from each pot and just switched it! Wtf?! My pot had some leftover spicy broth in it from the food being switched. Some of the cabbage I ate was actually pretty spicy because of that! If a restaurant gets orders wrong, they need to make NEWDISHES, not just take the old dish and swap the ingredients! The flavor was all messed up! Pretty disappointed that my boyfriend had a bad experience during his visit to NorCal. Sorry Sno-Crave, I won’t be back for your hot pots!

Are you feeling 85 degrees? Well, go next door to get your sno-crave onnnn! Ordered: — Thai Tom Yum Soup Hot Pot $ 12.99(x2) Tina’s Treasures and Tribulations — Parking is pretty small, but people are in and out all the time — Total was $ 28.25 for two personal hot pots — My friend and I were so hungry after our Big Basin hike so everything actually tasted flavorful — We were impressed on the taste and spiciness of the soup base — Service was alright, but the door was left open and it was super cold… we told the staff too. It seemed like they need more air ventilation instead of having the door open the entire time. — The meat was decent, but I wish there was more and a good amount of veggies — Their specialty is on the desserts, I guess it’s our fault for ordering food here — Possibly be back if I’m craving the soup!

I lived in San Jose for 4 years and I haven’t found an asian dessert place that i SUPER liked until I came here last week. The ambiance reminds me of Asia and desserts tasted very authentic. The service was good – the waiter came by several times and asked if we needed anything else. I ordered a crêpe with bits of mango and green tea icecream. It came with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup on top which was plated very nicely. The crêpe batter was good. Not too crispy but still soft. Just the perfect way I like my crêpe to be! My friend ordered a large jasmine milk tea. It had a strong tea flavor which we both liked. Both items came out to be $ 10 even which was cheap since we got full service and the ambiance. I would for sure come back to late night dessert and possibly try their hot pot.
