There are not too many of these around these days, and now they have teamed up with DQ. On my previous visit I ordered a Strawberry & Banana Smoothie. It was just as good as I remember it from my childhood days. Nothing fancy, just 2 flavors blended together with ice. On my last visit I ordered a Vanilla Dipped Cone. Their soft serve ice cream is decent, but nothing special. The chocolate sauce used for the cone is also decent, but nothing that will ever make you wanting more. Someone did order a Strawberry Shake in our party, and they gave it two thumbs up. That said, maybe ordering a shake will be the ticket on my next visit! Conclusion: It serves it’s purpose with smoothies and ice cream, but it just doesn’t offer anything with that«wow» factor. Service is always friendly, and very fast since there is never anyone in line. I guess that could be a good and a bad thing. Would I come back? Maybe for another dipped cone.

It’s not often that I eat here. Only if I’m having a sweet tooth and I’m in the mall, nearby the store. It’s not a bad place to buy dessert from. I once tried their orange smoothie and my god… It tastes EXACTLY like a orange sorbet popsicle! That one is my favorite by far. But recently I noticed they have some special waffle cone ice cream and those are go as well. I ordered the oreo chocolate waffle ice cream cone and it was amazing! The ice cream tastes like actual ice cream not those watered down ones. It doesn’t melt on you so quickly like some other places. This place is definitely one I’ll come back if I’m in the area and want dessert!

Their new location is right outside of Target. They’ll have someone giving out samples pretty often — especially on slow days. I recommend trying the mango pineapple. The orange, banana strawberry and piña colada are also okay. I think the only difference between the julius and smoothie is that the latter comes with yogurt which is definitely a worthwhile addition.

I don’t usually go to this side of town and when I stumbled across Orange Julius, I was happy to see it since I haven’t had it in a very long time, maybe about 10+ years ago! I ordered a small strawberry banana Julius and honestly, it was okay. The only reason being was that the girl who made my drink was washing something in the back with a wet rag and I saw her quickly rinse her hands. Ok sure she rinsed it, but did she use soap?! Who knows. I asked nicely for the other worker to pour the drink into a new, clean cup. It was a little too sweet from what I remember. But it did taste like my childhood so I’ll say it was okay.

This Orange Julius is located in the mall in the middle aisle between Macys and Zales, the jeweller aisle ! If you like Blizzard Ice Cream, then this is your stop. The staff here is attentive and get your order ready quickly. I usually get the Oreo Cookie Cream Medium Blizzard which is very filling, may switch down to a small. I don’t know how people eat a large in one sitting, may be ok to share with 3 people !! They run specials occasionally for buy one get one for $ 0.99c. Otherwise expect to pay around $ 4 for a medium.

Sometimes it makes me sad to see the lonely Orange Julius at random malls. Once the innovator of the«smoothie,» Orange Julius is now often an afterthought to Jamba Juice. I was at Oakridge Mall and the wifey went way past her 1:30 meeting time. So I plopped in front of Julius and got myself some drank. I ordered the old fashioned medium Orange Julius and paid an extra $.79 for them to add a whole banana. It was delicious! The old school flavor took me on a ride down memory lane. Sweet, cold, refreshing and tasty…

I like this better then Jamba Juice. It taste better and the service is nice and hard working. They do have a lot of modification because before they did have a sitting area inside but they cut it out for some odd reason. The drinks are always made by Maria. I only buy drinks from her because she can make them right. No offense to anyone else working there but just my preference. I go for the drinks, not really for the desert or food. Maybe I’ll be bold and try it =D –SN

i give it 2 stars, since she was the only server there, however she was eating her dinner, and she didnt wash her hands so kinda gross… but the orange julius was ok in taste.
