As a mall employee, I always tell customers and my staff to stay away from this Subway when the closing crew is working. My review isn’t about food quality(it’s Subway. It’s good. How much can you complain about a $ 5 sandwich?), but instead it’s the service I always get. One particular example was so horrible I have not returned since, and I encourage others to stay away. I ordered a 6″ tuna melt. The tuna melt is on a promo poster RIGHTBEHIND the employees. The woman had no idea what I was talking about. Finally I said, «Tuna with cheese on top and it’s toasted.» The employee(older Hispanic woman on the heavier side) yelled for her supervisor(tall male with glasses, probably 19 – 20 years old) came out and said the tuna melt was just tuna with melted cheese. The woman started insulting me in Spanish, and she backed off when I told her I understood her. This entire process took up 15 minutes of my 30 minute lunch. I called corporate afterwards(I absolutely never call corporate, so this was a big deal to me), and the franchise owner never called me back to discuss. Now, I go across the street to Togo’s instead, and I warn you all to stay away from the closing crew!

This review is for their Tuna Foot long Sub. The tuna was runny with more water than tuna and the scoops were way too small compared to what I’m used to with other Subways. So the four scoop is actually 2 runny scoops. Customer service was ok, made me wait at the register while they catered to other customers. I think finish this transaction and then start something new. I think this was the lowest value for $ 8 you can get, so be warned before going here.

This is one of the worst subways I have ever eaten at. When I ordered my italian bmt, the lady making the sandwich first didnt ask me what kind of bread I wanted, she just grabbed whatever, luckily it happened to be the kind I wanted so I didnt say anything. Then she was extremely skimpy with the toppings and had to ask her to put more on, and then when I asked for mayo, olive oil and vinegar she put hardly any on aside from the may which she doused. When I got home to eat my sandwich, the bread was dry, there was no flavor to the sandwich, and it was cut all the way through so it was falling apart while I was trying to eat it and the extra mayo made it even more messy. I will never eat there again and I do not recommend it at all. All the other bad reviews are spot on.

This place is terrible. I ordered an ice tea and it was basically water with a hint of tea. The two workers were unfriendly and kept sighing at the customers if they didn’t order fast enough. They also charged me for a higher priced sandwich. Will definitely not be coming back.

I have received food poisoning twice from this particular subway when buying a tuna sandwich. Granted they were very far spread apart it still is a bit disheartening. Subway says eat fresh, but I guess that ain’t happening here.

This Subway is located in Westfield Mall Oakridge, so expect a busy, nosiy, bustling food court as it is also near the Century Theater ticket line. Food is your staple Subways menu, but the food does not taste that good, you ask them for salt, pepper, oli and vinegar but the sandwich still tastes bland. Not sure if the ingredients here are stale, they don’t taste fresh and crispy. The servers are also very stingy in putting on toppings like it costs them money when you are paying, they seem to even count the cheese slices. If your looking to fill your tummy with wholesome fresh food, then don’t come here. They obviously don’t want to give you your money’s worth and the customer service stinks. If you ask them to change their gloves as you ordered a veggie delight sandwich they roll their eyes. The health department should investigate this place. Goto the Subway near Kooser or up near Kaiser near Cottle/Santa Teresa, fresher tasting produce, nice toppings and better service 2 stars.

If you’re in the mall an you’re feeling hungry, do NOT go to this Subway. The employees are either really uneducated, dumb, or don’t care about customer satisfaction. We visited this Subway on Saturday and my little sister ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, toasted. My sister is young and picky with what goes onto her sandwiches, so when it came time to put the veggies on, my mom said just olives. The girl put, literally, 6 little pieces of olive on the sandwich. My mom then said«can she have more?» and the girl put two more pieces on. My mom then said«are you serious? Can she have more?» and she again put two additional pieces on the sandwich. Then closed up the sandwich and served it to my mom. Really??? I support businesses that actually care about their patrons, and this Subway obviously does not. I will not support this business and I employ you to do the same. 10 little pieces of olive? Really???

I work here and decided to check out our reviews on Unilocal, was not too impressed with the reviews since we have a lot of happy customers, so I’m not sure what’s going on. As far as I’m concerned we get pretty busy, perhaps one of the busiest Subways you’ll ever encounter because it’s only at Oakridge mall. All I gotta say is that we guarantee quick service and make sure your sandwich gets done with minimal time. I make sure that our customers are being treated fairly and friendly.

I would definitely not recommend this place to eat to my friends. Firstly, they give you barely any meat in a sandwich. Secondly, I asked for cheddar cheese and they lady barely put any cheese. So I asked the next guy to give me a little bit more. When I am about to pay for my food, they charge me for extra cheese even though I told the cashier that the first women put barely any cheese and I had asked the next guy to give me a little bit more. She just brushed it off and claimed she still had to charge it. If I weren’t so hungry and pressed for time, I would have just walked away. I am letting my coworkers and friends know to not go to Subway and go elsewhere for food. Personally, Togos is becoming my favorite place to eat because they don’t skimp on anything!

After a botched dinner attempt with a co-worker…I found myself at this Subway in the food court. Now I know I was being clear and direct with what I wanted… a six inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki on 9 grain wheat, all the vegetables and no jalapenos. I turn around to pick up a phone call and ended up with a foot long. Being the hungry guy and not wanting to wait for another sandwich I took it and left. The sandwich was great… kinda sucks that he didn’t listen to what I wanted.

I agree with the review above. I was pretty pissed off today because I was charged an extra dollar for adding«extra» vegetables. All I asked for was extra jalepenos, and the dumbass kid that was making the sandwich overstuffed the sandwich with the other toppings. The manager tells the kid that he put too many toppings on the sandwich, and the kid replied that«the customer asked for it». At that moment, i said WTF I ONLYASKEDFORJALEPENOS. the manager then charges me an extra dollar for it. and i refused to pay for something that i apparently ordered. i tell the manager to charge me the regular price OR make me a new sandwich. the manager is looking pissed off and then tells me that putting on extra toppings doesn’t make it healthier. at this point, i was really pissed off and just walked away. i can’t complain too much right? I mean after all, the store only hires high school thugs who make minimum wage, so we can’t expect good service right? so that’s why it gets two stars instead of one.
