I ordered the Philly cheesesteak Sandwhich and can’t say it left me leaving full. It tastes like the sandwiches you can buy frozen and microwave then add whatever toppings you want. The prices for soda and fries is also on the pricier side as well so I ran over to McDonald’s for a $ 1 soda. Only ate here because it was convenient at the mall but it’s nothing compared to the cheese steak shops!

I tend to keep negative experiences to myself, as I believe that everyone is due to have one every now and then, but my experience at Charlie’s was by far the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time. First, the sandwiches are expensive. $ 13 for thinly sliced meat and a ton of veggies, ‘gourmet’ that looked worse than anything I’ve ever laid eyes on, and a 16oz. drink. Not bad for mall prices, but I expected more for the price. Second, the food is made with things that can be taken out, but you aren’t asked before or during the cooking process if you do or don’t want something in the sandwich, even if you’ve alerted the cashier that it is your first time there and you don’t like onions. What made this a bad experience for me was that I ordered the teriyaki chicken, and although there were similar sandwiches order right before mine, the cook was negligent in giving out the orders and gave away my order to the people before me. I told the cook about the issue, which he argued with me for a few minutes about it, finally winning the argument and getting my order remade. The cook then asked me if I wanted onions to which I said no, then the cashier took over and threw a huge hand full of onions on the food. I again told the cook about the issue, finally being so frustrated with the lack of detail to make a sandwich that I asked for a refund. After 15 minutes of irritation, I got my refund, and since I had a sip of my drink I was charged for it, thinking at least they would compensate me for the situation, but I thought wrong. Never going to recommend this place to anyone, or even think about going there again.

Just ate here didn’t read any reviews first. I just got the chicken philly w/fries it was there 4.99 special. Was not bad but was not awesome either. I was on lunch budget anyway, so I stayed in my five dollar range. At least it was hot, but I think could have been better and the workers seem to be killing themselves to work there. First time and last time.

Worst customer service ever!!! Cheap bastards, skipped out on the veggies that comes with the sandwich so you would think… Ok they’re saving money on the veggies. So why not give my nephew American cheese instead. Cheap bastards had the nerve to say .67. Plus u should see known thin the meat is on their so called Philly Cheese. Plus what’s worse is their attitude about it. Bastards! My nephew is 11. How do you treat kids that way? Never! Ever!!! going there again!

Charlie’s Sub is located inside Eastridge Food Court. There isn’t much food options, so I decided to get a sandwich here. I notice the sample lady was offering a coupon for a Philly Steak or Chicken Combo with fries for $ 5.99. I decided to use the coupon, and I ordered the Philly Chicken sandwich. I also upgraded my fries to gourmet fries. However, after I paid and looked at the receipt, I noticed that I totally overpaid. The cashier didn’t use the coupon price. I also got overcharged for the gourmet fries. When I asked the cashier about it, she mentioned my sandiwch was not part of the deal. I showed her the coupon that lists ‘Steak or Chicken’. Another worker told me that it was only for Chicken Club! I feel like the coupon was very misleading, so I didn’t want my sandwich from Charlie’s anymore. I’m glad they gave me all my money back. I WOULDNOT recommend Charlies Sub unless you want to get overcharge for your food.

Went here for lunch, ordered a Phillie Veggie sub with fries and a drink. The sub has mushrooms, onions, green peppars, provolone and other cheese on a sub. Once cooked they put the ingredient in a sub(not warmed) and offer lettuce, tomatoes and jalapenos. The male server wiped his nose on the back of his gloves prior to greeting and I asked him to change his gloves and he walked off in a huff. The next female server asked if I wanted mayonaisse and said no, just lettuce and tomatoes and she still preceded to put mayonaisse on. I stopped her but her knife touched the bread, then she continued to wipe it off rathe than get a new piece of bread. I asked her if she could put salt and peppar on top and she said no, I would have to do that. The food tasted bland, they should have warmed the sub on the grill and put salt and peppar on the ingredients so you can taste the food. The fries tasted ok. Based on the cleansiness I observed, I will NOT be returning. Prices are $ 8 for a combo and not worth it based on the BLAND taste.

Not that bad. The sub was kinda plain but I’d rather have it plain than with a bunch of crap on it… Try it for yourself. Portions are kinda small.

I don’t come here too often, but the few times I have, it’s been good. They cook their food to order and I’m a fan of that because I know my food is coming out fresh. I usually get the regular cheesesteak with fries. The ratio of meat to bread is pretty balanced, but I think the sandwich itself could be a little bigger. Taste-wise, it’s ok… definitely nothing to rant and rave about. The Fries are good — you can add seasoned salt if you’d like, which I usually do because it tastes better. Sometimes they give out random deals if you buy 2 cheesesteak meals, which works out for my fiancé and I whenever we come by one. Overall, not a bad sandwich — I’d have it again if I felt like it.

the food just strait up sucked. I had been craving a sub after a movie date with the kids and I had seen this place. Of course everything looks better in the picture. Everything is pre-measured, that should have been my first sign. The girl putting things together was working like a slow robot. More bread then meeat, tasteless meat and not enough cheeze. McDonalds would have been a bettre choice and that is at the bottom of my starving with no where else to eat list. I probably would have been better off starving to daeth.
