I went in late on a weekday to get a jacket for my daughter at Sears and was a bit peckish. Eastridge mall has a nice large car park so you will easily find a space. The mall is not too large that you would get tired walking around. The subway restaurant is located in the food court, in the middle on the upper floor opposite Macys. I ordered 3×6″ Veggie Delight’s and was happy to hear that Subway has these for $ 2 each all December long, I got mine toasted with swiss cheese and all the vegetable toppings. What a great deal. The staff listens and gets your order right first time. 4 stars.

Subway has great sandwhiches. My favorite is the meatball and tuna sandwhich. Their both delicious, I personally enjoy my sandwhoches full of veggies!

When I eat in the mall, I usually get Subway since it’s relatively consistent between each location. I find them not to be the fastest, but I keep my cold cut combo pretty simple so there’s really little they can mess up. All-in-all, it’s a typical Subway. If I had a choice of going to Subways though, I’d probably find another one but for it’s convenience I give it 4 stars.

Quite possibly the worst Subway I have ever visited. First, they charge for drink refills. Knowing the profit margin on drinks and the standard practices of other Subway stores, this is insulting as a consumer. I was going to watch a movie last weekend and decided to drop in and grab a sandwich beforehand. I ordered a club with double meat; a sandwich of which I’m very familiar with the composition. The employee put exactly 1.5x the normal portion. When I asked if I could get an actual double portion for which I paid, the employee became very rude and borderline yelled back at me. Asked to speak to a manager and of course none was around(this was the middle of the day). Asked for a phone number I could call and none could be found. Thus, I turn to Unilocal to share my frustration. This experience not only cost this subway my business, but also prompted me to drive across town to another movie theater. Avoid at all costs.

Not the cleanest Subway I’ve been to, a fact I found irking seeing as I went in while it was slow. The workers were generous with toppings but took their sweet time with building my sandwich. If I weren’t in so much of a rush, maybe I would have been more appreciative of the care. but Subway is still considered FASTFOOD albeit on the healthier extreme of the fast food scale.

I had the worst experience with this Subway. I had asked for three sandwiches, two veggie and one chicken. There were only three people working and the line was really long. They had finished making one sandwich and in the process of making the other two, they put chicken on the wrong sandwich and when we told them the other sandwich was the chicken one they put the chicken in the other sandwich. Now your probably thinking whats wrong with that. Well one of my friends is pure vegetarian and could not eat the veggie sandwich which just had chicken in it for religious reasons. So, I told the lady that we can not eat that sandwich anymore because you put chicken in it. I had asked her if she can just make another sandwich. She just nodded her head pretending she understood what I was saying and was like«Do you want the sandwich or not?» After few minutes of trying to tell her that I cannot have that sandwich but would like it for you to make another sandwich, she said we dont have any bread(which they had but only a few batch). I was so frustrated. All I wanted was a sandwich and I didnt care which bread they used. Well, I did not get my other veggie sandwich because they were not willing to hurry up and make it for me and on top of that she charge me for the three sandwiches. But I got the money back. I did not receive any apology or anything for the service they provided and for not making me the sandwich.

I have not been to a Subway in so long so this past Friday I went to one looking forward to their $ 5 foot long sandwich deal, but it’s a lie because it’s only based of like 5 or 6 sandwiches from the menu. So here I am stuck with paying the full price for my pastrami sandwich because they said that pastrami is not a popular enough sandwich for it to belong in the foot long menu(uh huh, sure that must be it). Anyways, I was so craving for the pastrami so I just paid $ 5.86 for a 6 incher and added $ 2 more dollars for a soda and chip. Overall, I was happy with my experience, but would have been happier if I got my pastrami foot long for $ 5.(Note: pastrami with wheat bread, with everything including jalapenos, mayonnaise and their sweet onion sauce is the bomb).
