Order the pepper steak, man it was so small 8 oz and it cost so much. Service was great. steak was dry not juicy at all the wife ate for free with birthday coupon she had salmon she also complain about her fish being dry. 2 drinks total bill about $ 47. And some change. Good thing hers was free and didn’t cost me anything. And the band was terrible on Saturday night 2÷13÷16 won’t be back any time soon!

I have been here for Happy Hour. They have a nice HH that runs until about 8 pm. The food on the HH menu is pretty delicious. I haven’t tried the restaurant for their regular food but they usually seem to have a decent crowd. The employees here seem to be friendly and helpful. The HH was a quiet crowd when I was there but sometimes that’s what you’re looking for.

Stay away and keep your cash. The corn chowder was green with bell peppers and the six Oz sirloin was very tough. Never will we return.

Fantastic steaks! Delish drinks! And the lovely Colleen! The kabobs were excellent. Service was on point!

Their menu boasts that all of their beef is from corn fed cattle. Since when is that a good thing? In what part of the world do cattle naturally graze on corn? From the service to the cocktails and the food, an amazingly mediocre experience. At least they’re consistent!

I love this place. Food is always so good. Try the steak sandwich! The bar pours hard and has happy hour every day. The craft beer list is always top notch and their new house beers are fantastic too!

I have been here about 6 times now and the steaks are not fatty and cooked very well. The salad bar and baked potato are also good. I will come back as a solid steak and salad place. Prices are also very reasonable.

Awesome ribeye. I get this every time and my husband loves their filet. In general, I’m not a big salad bar fan, but theirs isn’t too bad. All the selections I would want with a steak. It’s a very intimate setting so good for couples out on a date night.

Cold Food and over cooked steaks We had a very large party but that is no excuse, we had a reservation. This place normally does a good job for us. Unfortunately we will look elsewhere for future events Its holiday season so I will leave it at that. Please see photo of 5 fused together shrimp.

It’s 30 minutes into Monday night football, no stadium dogs, no salsa for the chips, the service is not that great tonight. And it’s not busy at all. 6 minutes left in the first half still no stadium dogs. And it’s not busy. At least they got good selection of beers.

I had dinner at the Cask ‘n Cleaver Steakhouse in San Dimas, CA on 8÷29÷2015. It was my 1st time there. There were 10 of us(I was with my relatives) and we all had different items. I had their 6 oz. filet mignon($ 25.95) and added their salad bar(for $ 4.95 more). Our server, Mayra, did a fine job(especially for such a large group). Plus, I took photos.

The only gripe I have is that the Manager never has greeted us or come around to table in all the years we’ve been going there. He needs to take lessons from George at Applebee’s on how to be a great Mgr. The food is very good and salad bar fresh and excellent. The«one» star is for Manager, but I give the restaurant«five star»… only if you get a good server! Grace B.

Very Disappointed in Unilocal and Cask ‘n Cleaver, as I was under the impression that they did not charge a Corkage Fee, last night when I go our bill it had a Corkage Fee of $ 10.00, my lady talked with the Manager and after a discussion he did remove it. The Kim Martin Bank was great, salad bar is very good, I had the Mesquite Pepper Steak and she had the Top Sirloin, both were excellent. Service is slow in the Bar, as the Bar Tender was serving all the tables also

This is my second time here. First time was for my father in law’s birthday(had a blast and the food was great). Now I’m meeting up with my husband to watch the game. Every Monday during football season they offer free happy hour hotdogs and chips, plus ½ off drinks and appetizers. You can’t beat that! So far I’ve ordered a shrimp cocktail(delicious), fried calamari(I’ve had better), draft beer, and helped myself to a hot dog(yummy). They also did a raffle which was fun even though we didn’t win this time.

My husband and I used to like to go here. We gave them a couple more attempts to improve their food. We thought possibly just a bad night for the cook. We aren’t going back. Salmon is very dry, Teriyaki chicken is very dry, skin burnt and the Teriyaki sauce tastes more like straight soy sauce(super salty). They try to dress the plate up with a scoop of dried out red cabbage. We too use our buy one get one coupon and it’s not worth it since the food is so bad. The food did not used to be like this. I’m thinking a new chef with bad cooking skills??? The table to the right of us was complaining about their food as well as the folks to the left of us. How can a restaurant not get it. I see this place on the road to closure if they don’t fix things and fast!

I guess you can say that I am partial to this place because I have friends that work/manage here, but after coming here only once, I was super impressed. The Friday night crowd was awesome — decent band, good people and tasty beer on tap. Derek has stuff on tap that is not easily found anywhere else in the area. I’m a huge fan of this place and can’t wait to go back and eat and drink even more…

Has this place ever gone down hill! I used to go to the one in Arcadia and it was hands down, my favorite steakhouse. Flash forward from the late 70s, early 80s to now. Meh! The food is just … okay. I now live close to the San Dimas location and received a birthday coupon. You had to spend a certain amount to get the discount. Our figuring was off and we were 40 cents short. You think the waitress would have given it to us anyway? You thing she could have said: «Pssst, just order an iced tea,» but no. We got the bill and the waitress just gave us a hard time about how we didn’t spend enough for the discount. My husband just paid the bill, stiffed her tip(I think he left a penny) and we left, never to come back. Now, we usually overtip, but that was a fiasco of meanness, miserliness and rudeness. This was a few years ago. We still don’t want to chance the place.

Service was ok, I ordered the mesquite steak or some such. When it was presented the waitress suggested steak sauce… Why am I paying to have the rub on my steak if I am going to smother it in steak sauce?
