Came here on my 45min lunch got a turkey sandwich and a soup. When I got back to work and sat down to eat my soup I got a spoon full of ice cold broccoli cheese. Im pissed cuz it was gross. Luckily I have a microwave at work but still. Pretty sure LIZ, the girl who made my food and rang me up knew it was cold to because I wondered as I walked away why she was so awkwardly keeping the soup on her side of the counter and I had to lean all the way across just to grab it. Could of just told me the soup wasn’t ready yet geez.

The customer service is not good and is never consistent. Today, a man was putting the veggies on my sandwich and he dropped a slice of cucumber on the counter and put it back on the sandwich. I would appreciate it if he would have thrown it away. Also, the lady who was as the register practically threw my credit card back at me after swiping it. She also had a rude attitude.

Service was pretty good– wasn’t impressed by the young man with a beard handling food without a beard net-cover it up or shave Graham–

The Subway on Catalina is a good spot to grab a $ 5 sandwich loaded with veggies. It’s close to Spawar and the navy sub base, but get here early, like 11:30, to avoid the long line at 11:45. Order to-go is best. I recommend the foot long black forest ham on 9-grain bread, with everything on it, and add a little honey mustard and ranch dressing, cut in half, separated wraps to eat the other half later. Grab your meal and drink, and bag o chips, and head to the top of the hill and enjoy a lunch at the picnic bench overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Delicious sandwich, spectacular view, easy breezy lunch. Thanks, I’ll be back to visit again.

Typical Subway… only thing out of the ordinary was if you ordered something with mayo, you get a certificate for a survey and then you get a $ 5 gift card.

This subway is close to where I work. I usually love Subway, however, every time I eat here I find myself frustrated with the amount of people in the shop, the slow service, and low quality ingredients. I have eaten at plenty of different Subways, but this one always gives me a stomach ache after eating it. I don’t know what it’s from, but I would much rather go a few doors down to Fresh n’ Easy to get a sandwich than go here.

Worst subway I’ve ever been to. The service was terrible and an employee named JACKSON interrupted my private conversation to give her opinion about my complaints about the bad service. She was very rude and intrusive. If I it my way… she’ll be fired before you ever get a chance to go there. Go to Jersey Mikes instead! They’re not stingy with their veggies.

Its a chain restaurant, just like any other Subway. However given its location near a college campus and a military base, you really should avoid coming anytime between 11:45am-12:30pm unless you like standing in line. They were able to snag a lot of the great Subway workers from the location on Rosecrans so they quick and efficient. Owner loves to throw out random fun deals every now and then. Haven’t been disappointed with this location yet!

like any subway… but happens to be convenient for me. bad experience with ordering once though… the guy asked me if I wanted my sandwich toasted. I said no thanks, perhaps not in the most booming voice of all time, but audibly. for some reason, the kid who was probably in high school put the sandwich into the toaster oven after i said no thanks, so I was like eh, whatever. Then I found out, if your sandwich is hot(toasted), you have to pay tax! Whereas if it’s cold, no tax! Bastards… the toasting i didn’t want cost me 44 cents! :-P I’d probably go back though, since it’s convenient…

Have you ever been to a Subway? This is the same thing but with minimal seating. Lines get long around lunch time. Compared to the Subway on Shelter Island Dr, there is less olive counting per footlong.

Sandwich Lovers Alert! Another Subway Sandwich Shop has opened up! Point Loma Nazarene University students can now indulge in fresh tuna melts! Squeezed into a very small retail space in the Point Loma Marketplace Shopping Center, this new Subway can best be termed«cozy.» There is a fridge full of sodas and waters and the chip rack is stuffed! A couple of benches inside but really no place to enjoy the great outdoors except if you take your food and go sit in the Peet’s Coffee area around the corner with all the dog-walkers. There is no missing this Subway as you drive south on Catalina Blvd. towards the Cabrillo Monument. It is right there as you turn into the driveway. I am happy that the college students on the Point have an excellent selection of retail food choices now. Before, it was just a small and stodgy Albertson’s grocery store stuck out here. Now there is Fresh & Easy, Peet’s, Fro-Yo, and as of September 2010-this new but smallish Subway! Bought a breakfast sandwich for my boy here this morning and it is as good as all the other Subways! I’m a fan for sure! Just say YES to good choices in food for Christian college students!
