Justin served us with a smile and was very thorough in taking our order. Excellent customer service! Very efficient. We got in and out of there in no time, and of course, the food was BOMB!

They need to put someone else in the window working because the one girl is so awkward and quiet. Has no customer service skills whatsoever. And when I asked for a larger drink like I ordered she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything.

Popeye’s is my go to fast food chicken. Spicy dark with red beans and rice & masked potatoes. The chicken is crispy, a little spicy and juicy. MMMMMM!!! Can’t forget about the biscuit.
I cringed when I saw the long line in the drive thru but I was surprised how fast it moved! My order was ready quickly and I was on my way home to stuff my face!
I tried the new strawberry cream cheese pie this visit. The picture made it look so appealing! Of course, it didn’t have as much filling as the picture, but it was still tasty.

This time coming here, the wait was absolutely ridiculous! I mean beyond 10 minutes in the drive –thru. Maybe the person working the drive thru ordering was new because every car had to wait at least a couple minutes before they were even able to order.
On top of that when I got to the window to pick up my food, I paid, I got my food… but wait, where’s my drink? the guy gave me back my card and said «Thank you, have a great night» But, me being the person I am, I just waited as he swept the floor thinking he gave me my order complete.
He comes back to the window and says «Can I help you sir?» My response was «I believe I ordered a meal right? I believe I’m missing something that comes with the meal» This is when it actually hits him…“omg, I’m so sorry, I forgot your drink” YOU THINK???
Maybe I can give him a break since his job is really difficult (Maybe I’ll give him a break)

This location SUCKS!!! Every time I come to this one some ones order is messed up and thy come back in to complain every single time! And yesterday was me and my husbands turn AGAIN! we both ordered the $ 5 box and paid Ext for sWHITE MEAT! SPICY! And I asked is the food fresh and said I don’t mind waiting the girl with the retainer in her mouth said oh yes it just came out so we get home open the boxes up and I see a breast and a damn leg! And one order was spicy the other was mild food was not fresh not hot like she said! My husband called and spoke with the manager «ANGELO» he said his name was and told him he would have to bring it back and see it my husband said man I just got off work I asked for it a certain way she repeated it back correct but the order still wrong I don’t have time or energy to come back so he said where is ur manager he told him just look on the receipt and call the number because he can’t help him! Which is very strange because this is not Popeyes first time messing up our order and a manager with sense always made it right but that wise guy had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!! He didn’t care and wasn’t trying to solve any problem I will now just drive to national city I’m over this location! There was a fair skin black lady that worked there and she treated you and other like you were at a restaurant she would walk by greet everyone ask if your ok if you need anything the orders she Would make sure the food was hot and fresh before she came and now that she’s gone this place is back to A MESS THE GENERAL MANAGER IS NO BETTER THAN THE MANAGE ANGELO THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IF POPEYES THINK PPL WILL BE DRIVING BACK ANR FORTH WASTING THIER TIME AND GAS TO REPLACE A ORDER THEY MESSED UP THEY MUST BR CRAZY! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET THE ORDER CORRECT AND NO ONE WILL LOSE! I WILL NOT RETURN

I have picked up food from this Popeye’s on many occasions. It’s pretty busy most of the time and they always seem to have new people working each time I have gone there. The restaurant is kept clean and the staff is friendly and helpful when you are placing your order. I am a fan of Popeye’s chicken, its crunchy with a little spiciness and a nice blend of seasonings. They have awesome meal deals most of the time that are very affordable. Because they are so busy sometimes you have to wait for your chicken to be prepared.

Chad is the best! Wish I could steal him for my company. we come here about once every other month. And my husband always orders chicken tenders and it always takes them 20 min to make them. Which is fine cause we like them fresh and it’s worth the wait. Today we came in and walked out less then 5 min. Chad was on point! Kind helpful funny very rare to find this kind of customer service!!! Give this guy a raise/​promotion!

Fresh fried Louisiana chicken. I always go for the «spicy» chicken. The wait in the drive thru is always long even when there isn’t anyone in front of you.

I waited in the drive thru for roughly 12 minutes before I was even able to place my order. I ordered the surf and turf with a Coke. The girl struggled to understand my order. I corrected her 3 times until she got it right. I also ordered chicken strips. They said they didn’t have any and it would be 4 minutes to good. I am currently sitting in the parking lot waiting for my food that they said would only take 4 minutes. It has already been 10. Since when does a place that specializes in chicken run out? Don’t get me started on the customer service. Needless to say I will not be returning to this place!

Service was great!!! Lillian G has such a great positive attitude… Now that’s I call customer service… and the food was great like always!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Went there on a Friday night and waited 25 minutes for my 11 pieces deal. The place was packed with 7 – 8 parties waiting for their food. The restaurant should have been more prepare for Friday nights. Eventually got my chickens and sides. Brought home to eat and while eating found paper fried with one of my pieces. So grossed! Never going back to this location or Popeye’s.

The manager was getting his employees confused I simply ordered the 9pc chicken only for 12.99 leg n thigh but 2 of the pieces spicy he tells them all spicy n got the whole kitchen screwed up

Food is good as always just wish when I go in the drive thru I don’t have to remind the person how to do there job and give me hot sauce, honey, and my damn straw… but like I said food is good so I’ll be back

I have an addiction and it’s name is Popeye’s.
Is this fried chicken healthy? No. Do the green beans make the fried chicken any healthier for you? No. But is it absolutely delicious? YES.
I stop by this Popeye’s location at least once a week to satisfy my soul food cravings. I’m a big fan of the tenders with the green beans and macaroni and cheese sides. I always splurge for an extra side because I can’t pick just one. The mardi grad mustard is my favorite dipping sauce. Although I’ve heard the buffalo ranch is a must have. The drive thru is always quick and your meal is already waiting for you by the time you pull up to pay.

When ur in the mood for some greasy chicken, Popeyes the place.
It not the best chicken I’ve had, but it’s pretty decent, and convenient, that’s about all I can say.

Came back to trying to eat the surf and turf. There were three tiny strips, four shrimp, and some greasy addict fries smushed on the botton. People let me tell you something… soaking your chicken strips in your secret hot or mild sauce; does not mean you are done with seasoning your food. Put some salt and pepper in your batter. Don’t be afraid to taste you own food prior to serving it. I am sorry! When french fries, chicken and shrimp all have the same bland taste there is either miscommunication in your kitchen, the food comes frozen (which would still be bad) or you all just do not give a crap. Oh I forgot the funniest. part…that was over a 15 minute wait. Very sad day for a surf and turf craving.

I’m not quite sure why I’ve only recently started to eat Popeyes. Maybe because I don’t really have one close to me, but dang have I been missing out. It totally beats out KFC.
I’ve only gone to Popeyes 2 – 3 times, so I haven’t tried much but their chicken is really good. I can’t eat spicy so I always get the mild. I love their mash potatoes, mac and cheese, and biscuits. Their biscuits are so buttery and delicious. They’re always on point. Sometimes I go to Popeyes JUST to get half a dozen biscuits to eat. I did also have their popcorn shrimp because they were out of their butterfly shrimp. That one is ok. It kind of seemed to just taste like popcorn chicken and maybe just a bunch of fried batter. I’m not really sure. I wasn’t too impressed.
All in all, the food was still great. I’m definitely going to try to hit up Popeyes more often. Forget you KFC!

Damn good chicken, biscuits & red beans & rice!
Chicken was juicy, tender and hot. Wasn’t like some fast food places where the chicken is dry from sitting out. Biscuits were buttery and so good with honey. Red beans & rice wasn’t the best but really good for being fast food. I would go back.
Drive thru was fast, friendly and got the order correct can’t ask for much more than that when you are hungry.

Recently Popeyes at each location has been either a hit or miss and i’ve always loved Popeyes a lot more than KFC. So I went here last night and here is my review on the food.
3 Piece Dark Combo $ 7.99
Received one leg, and two thighs, awesome. They were crispy and delicious. I had a side of onion rings and a biscuit. Onion rings were also perfectly crispy. The biscuit was still nice and warm. Be sure to add honey to your biscuit !
Fried Catfish & Popcorn Shrimp Combo $ 7.69
Fried catfish was amazing ! It was so soft, tender, and juicy. The batter on the outside was not thick, but lightly crunchy. The popcorn shrimp was average, a little bit salty. Cajun fries on the side was good, not overcooked.
CONS:
They only give you one sauce for each combo meal. Each extra sauce is 20 cents! Laaaaaame.

For the love of Chicken Strips! Sorry… I got a little excited.
I really like Popeye’s chicken strips. I really do, and I like them even better when they are served up with some great service at the counter. I stopped in and ordered their chicken strip combo, a biscuit, and with red beans and rice, because that is the way I roll (
). Oh yes, I got an iced tea as well.
The crunchy chicken strips were heavenly. They had that great super crispy and crunchy exterior with the flavor to match (
), and the all white chicken inside was tender and moist (
). What else could I ask for? Oh yes, some of their Mardi Gras Cajun Mustard that is. The biscuit came warm, buttery, and moist (
). It did not last long in my possession. The red beans and rice were good. The beans had great flavor, perhaps it was a little over salted but still good to eat (
).
Service at the counter was great. The young lady who took my order had a great sense of humor and made small talk with me the whole time I was there. If I needed something, like a napkin, she would bring it to me… Great stuff!
