This place is great for a quick pizza. It’s cheaper than Frescos and the people are a lot nicer. It’s a good deal and I’m glad you could put as many toppings as you like. I would definitely go back.

DOUBLEDOUGHFTW. The double dough is a game-changer. It transforms the formerly thin, weak pizza crust into a sturdy, satisfying carrier of deliciousness. Om nom nom.

We have a new favorite pizza place! PizzaRev is phenomenal for a quick and healthy and fresh pizza, made exactly as you like it, and you can even get a nice beer on tap or glass of wine to go with it… my family is hooked!

Happy Mother’s Day takeout !!! Craft your own pizza? I love this fun concept !! It’s a ‘do it my way’ personalized pizza and I am a fan of that ! First time here and have had it bookmarked for a while since it’s super close to home and had great Unilocal reviews ! These type of joints are becoming more and more popular these days and I can see why ! Location: * Close to the 56 freeway and near other shops/stores * Plenty of parking * Inside is very spacious and has plenty of seating(great for groups) * Very rustic and I like the wood fire brick pizza oven up front — nice appeal Easy ordering process: For your convenience, you can order online and skip the line which we did ! 1. Choose your dough — signature dough, double dough, gf option 2. Choose your sauce — red, white, bbq, olive oil 3. Choose your cheese — a variety of cheeses and even vegan cheese ! YASSS !!! 4. Choose your toppings — A good selection of protein from pepperoni to vegan sausage and endless veggies !!! You can also stick to their own specialize ‘Our Way’ pizzas but where’s the fun in that ??? We also got to custom craft our own salad !! Sweet !!! Customer service: Fast and friendly ! It took 15 minutes from the time that I ordered online to the time I picked up my customized pizzas and salad. I walked inside to the ‘pick up’ counter and was quickly assisted. Lady showed me my order to make sure it was correct. The pizzas looked beautiful and the salad was a generous size. $ 8.25/pizza and entrée salad ! Wow that’s a great deal !!! Verdict: We thoroughly enjoyed the thin crust and the additional basil pesto(thumbs up!) ! We tasted the vegan sausage and my parents couldn’t tell the difference. I also went crazy with the veggies. Hey there’s no additional charge so why not ?? Just make sure you don’t overdo it. Might be hard to pick up the pizza by hand. Healthy, light, and dee-licious ! What more can you ask for ?? Next time I’m here, I’ll order in person to get the full-blown pizza experience !!! Shay-approved ! 5FANSTARS !!!

I guess the«I say– you make and bake» model of pizza joints are a nationwide phenomenon. This spot does it well enough, with fresh ingredients and a good selection of meats to choose from. I managed to make myself something mighty tasty, if I say so myself. The crust, while baked to a brittle crisp while hot, quickly turns into cardboard if you don’t eat it fast enough. Otherwise, a hit in my book.

I love this place. I have had pizza in various different countries and this is some of the best pizza I have had. Their dough is fresh and tasty and they have a huge variety of toppings to chose from. I love the fact that I’m free to make a pizza of my liking for only $ 8.91. Lastly the costumer service here is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

HaPpY PiZZaNnIVeRsArY to our friends at PizzaRev. My original review was around their grand opening(free pizza back then!) so it’s fitting to update it for their 1 yr anniversary. They did another awesome promo: $ 5 pizzas all day with $ 1 per pizza donated to SD Fire Rescue Foundation. I posted this promo on my FB and Unilocal Tips and happy to see my friends/Yelpers«check in» today. Ha! I should’ve done my first UYE here! Hope my Unilocalies enjoyed it! We got 6 pizzas today! Located in the Haagans(RIP) center off the 56/Camino Del Sur, it’s next door to Rubios(also in the center are Studio Barre if you wanna work up a sweat before eating!). Not much has changed from my orig. review. I’m happy they made it to 1 yr. Here’s the orig review w/some edits to reflect our 2 most recent visits this week. PizzaRev is, in a few words… Fresh, Fast, Friendly and all around Fabulous! I never use restaurant coupons for $x off cuz you don’t know if they’ll be good food… they sent a mailer for $ 511 inch personal pizza for their anniversary on 3÷23÷16. My hubby is a great cook, especially Italian/pizza, so in this category I am hard to please and we never go to these types of restaurants(hence, all of my Unilocal reviews are of thai and other Asian food). Our first visit this week we used the buy 2 get 1 free pizza. And our friends used the buy 1 get 1 kids meal free, and buy 1 and 2 drinks, get 1 free. My friends were happy Princess Money had coupons. Their family of 4 ate for ~$ 20. PMT: Join their email club to get $ 5 pizzas and a free pizza on your birthday! This is the best pizza place we have EVER been to… very fresh ingredients and I love that they have organic sauce and gluten free dough(wish it wasn’t an extra $ 2 for it though). They just introduced the double dough, which is a thicker version of their thin crust. I tried both. I prefer the thin crust. If you get the DD, ask them to cook it a little longer, mine seemed undercooked and a little soggy. Thin crust is PERFECT and what I’ll get from now on. For $ 8.25 you get to make your own pizza with any/all of the toppings you want! You can ask for extra of your faves & they accommodate you. They have something for everyone… chicken, pepperoni(spicy and regular), vegan sausage, regular sausage, cheese, low fat cheese, vegan cheese(vegan cheese is $ 1 extra, wish it was included), and all the veggies you can think of! The best part is that even though we ordered it with extra sauce(and a bunch of toppings), the pizza held up. Every pizza we’ve ever had here was crispy and delicious… no soggy mess or anything! They custom make it assembly line style then put it in the huge open fire oven. At the end you can put a topping sauce(I got mine on the side to control portion) of pesto basil(I got that one. It was sooooo good!). TIP: have them put the basil pesto sauce at the beginning. Dang, it’s good! I also get a side of it to put on top after it’s cooked. So delish! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, the workers were all friendly(and they wear gloves!), and Chris, the owner, rang us up on their anniversary. I casually mentioned«I wish you guys did more coupie deals» and viola, he hands me 2 sets of coupies that they sent in the mail! I wish him continued good luck and much success cuz 1 year later, he’s still got great customer service and a great food product. We don’t typically go to pizza places, but this is the only pizza place we will go to! Please keep sending coupons and join to continue to get your name out! They also have a happy hour $ 10.95 for pizza and beer(pretty please, do a happy hour pizza price for us non-drinkers) but I can’t remember the times. My only tiny complaint is that it’s pretty echoey in there, so when the music is loud it doesn’t sound good. I asked if they could kindly turn it down a bit and they did. Also, FYI: try to avoid going when school gets out. That’s where all the kiddos go to eat and lines can get kind of long. I’ve included pics of their current menu with prices since it’s not on their website.

The best way for me to describe this place is to compare it to a Subway, but for pizza and with better ingredients. I had really been looking forward to trying this restaurant because it is so close to my house, in a really nice area and in a shopping center that is never too crowded and has plenty of parking. I was immediately impressed the moment I walked in as it was very clean and updated along with the fact that they kept the line moving well. I felt too lazy to create my own pizza so I went with an «Our Way» pizza from the menu; the Margherita. It consists of red sauce, Italian cheese, tomatoes, garlic and basil. You have the choice of any type of crust and you can always add or remove ingredients. I was there with two of my girlfriends and our pizzas all came out rather quickly and we all thought the pizza was really good. We each ate two slices and decided to put the remainder in boxes for fear that we would continue to binge eat while we stayed a while to talk because it was so yummy. I do think it is a little pricey when there are always coupons for Dominos and Papa John’s online, but it is definitely a good pizza treat to have once in a while! I will certainly be back!

Really love to see that Pizza Rev has expanded into San Diego now as well. Service here was excellent, our pizzas made quickly and well. Clean space with plenty of seating, bright and modern décor. Not too busy when we were here for lunch and our food tasted great! Prices are great, you can’t beat $ 8 for a pizza with as many toppings as you would like, we all enjoyed our pizza and i had a salad as well which meant plenty of pizza left over for later. Worth a stop while in the area, perfect for kids and picky eaters!

I’ve wanted to try PizzaRev since it opened last year and finally got the chance this week when I met a friend for lunch. It’s location halfway across the 56 was perfect for us(I’m in Carmel Valley and she’s in Rancho Penasquitos) and I’m hoping we can make it a regular meeting spot. The entire experience was great! We were greeted by a helpful employee who explained the concept to us. My friend decided to order one of the pre-made pizzas while I chose to create my own. All the pizzas cost the same regardless of the toppings and I chose chicken, black olives, tomatoes and garlic with white sauce and the regular cheeses. The pizza was delicious and I loved the white sauce. Although it’s a thin crust, which I’m not usually a fan of, the crust was actually pretty good. The inside of the restaurant is bright and spacious but we chose to take our pizzas outside to enjoy the beautiful day. While the restaurant doesn’t seem to have it’s own outdoor area, there are tables between Rubios and Pick Up Stix that seem to be open to everyone.

Just ok, I won’t be back. It’s clean, employees are nice. They have one of those cool Coke machines where you can mix a million flavors. So now for the pizza. You can choose between regular and gluten free for $ 3 extra. Crust is paper thin which I actually like so good for me. You build your own pizza but they are pretty stingy with toppings. I think they gave me a minimal sprinkle of each topping I asked for & I really wanted a lot of veggies. Charge extra for ranch, .50 not a big deal. Pizza was hot when arrived but just not much flavor. I prefer Pizza Studio.

I visited PizzaRev about a week ago. It’s just like another Pieology. You can get a thin crust style pizza with any amount of toppings for a flat price(which I believe was like $ 8.95). As I have been to similar chains, I felt PizzaRev was skimping on a lot of the toppings I usually see. With the exception of the marinara sauce, which I didn’t like at all, the pizza was good. They DO have craft beer on tap and in bottles though, so make you get one because… The atmosphere is very family friendly. What do I mean by that? Children messing around and yelling everywhere. I was more annoyed that the parents who let it happen than the actual children. Anyhow, I am glad I grabbed a bottle of the Coronado Mermaid Red because it is not my atmosphere. If you are looking for a gluten free pizza, they do have them here, which is great, but next time if I return it would need to be ‘to go’. May the Force be with you.

Let me clear this out first: I really like PizzaRev. They make really good pizza(at least when they make it right) and its better than Blaze. The problem they have is of consistency. My first pizza was made very well. My second pizza was complete disaster. I ordered a build your own pizza with vegan cheese online. They didn’t put just enough vegan cheese at all. The size of pizza was 9 inch instead of 11 inch. That’s 1⁄3rd smaller! I opened the box in front of the lead employee over there and told her that this pizza looks smaller. She looked at it and said it was normal size. I also mentioned about the cheese and she was like that’s what we generally put. I was getting late and didn’t bother much and came back home. At home I measured that it was indeed pretty small pizza and decided to call them. She said she was sorry about this and would make me a new pizza if I went back. Too late lady! They had an option to fix it when I first showed them the dismal pizza. It was a shame that they had an opportunity to fix it but chose not to. Btw this restaurant is jain friendly.

I really really like this place! I came in here yesterday and had a nice early dinner before I had to work an event and I was so happy when I left. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice gentleman who was behind the counter. He greeted me on it being my first time, and then informed me that because it was between 4 – 6 they were having a pizza and beer deal for only $ 10.95! YESPLEASE!!! They’ve got super awesome fresh ingredients to add onto your pizzas and also some delicious finishing sauces. I got the Pesto Basil and I was happy with my decision! My one tiny downfall with the pizzas here are that the crust/dough is very very thin. I like a good crust, nice and thick… PizzaRev’s crust would be compariable to a thin crust.

In the ever growing category of «fast casual» personal pizza for one price, PizzaRev might be my least favorite among them all. Having been to «Stella Public House,» where the thin crust pizza is amazingly flavorful and chewy, PizzaRev’s thin crust reminded me of a saltine cracker with bland toppings. I went with one of their own creations, the BBQ chicken and added mushrooms. The chicken was dry and had zero flavor. I think I saw faint grill marks on a few of the pieces. They could do themselves a favor and run to the nearby Costco to pick up a rotisserie style chicken. I was in such desperate need for flavor, I generously added the the red pepper flakes to give it a little spice. On the positive side, the toppings were plentiful and the staff was nice. Perhaps, I just didn’t pick a «winner» because my date, seemed to really enjoy his.

Really pleased with this modern/casual family friendly restaurant. We got a flyer that gave us a free pizza(oh-so-clever! you got us in!) and we ordered 211″ pizzas. One was half & half: my son’s canadian bacon and pepperoni on red sauce w/mozz cheese, the other half was mine: pesto sauce, grilled chicken, sundried tomatoe, basil, mozz cheese and blue cheese. We devoured it! The pesto had a wonderful flavor, but I’ll warn you: the oil dripped down my hand… so put that slice down as you munch.(It was sooo good, i couldn’t let mine go.) Hubby ordered Spicy Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, sundried tomatoes and mushroom, w/red sauce and mozzarella cheese. He liked his crispy/crunchy pizza but didn’t love the spicy pepperoni. All in all, a great place to dine: very fast service, LOVE the fact that you have a choice between a 1 topping at a lower price, or whatever you want on your pizza is a flat $ 8-something.(you can get creative!) The salads looked HUGE and next time we’ll order one of those too.

PizzaRev has now planted its roots in north county hoping to make a run at the pizza market. After enjoying their Fennel and Sausage with added green peppers, crumbled meatballs, and mushrooms, I am pretty sure they will be around for some time. The pizza was on the extra crispy thin side, not my favorite type of crust because I like a little chewy texture in my crust, but it worked. The sausage had a mild fennel flavor, the mushrooms were tender, the peppers crisp, but the crumbled meatballs needed more seasoning or flavor in general. This particular pizza did not come with sauce, but rather extra version olive oil, fresh mozzarella, and ricotta cheese which were all good and quite tasty. The crust was very thin and crispy, and although they over baked it, especially on the ends, it still was pretty good. As many of the designer pizza places opening around town, you cane create your own pizza, or choose one of their«our way pizzas» and add more toppings for the same price of $ 8.25, unless you go gluten free or with vegan cheese for a little more. 3.5 stars…
