I have placed orders for delivery from this company, using EAT24, GrubHub and Seamless. Omega Deli has repeatedly canceled my orders(sometimes notifying me and other times not) and on separate occasions stated they do not deliver to my address when sometimes they will and sometimes they don’t. Omega Deli, based on my experience is unprofessional and unreliable !!!

I give this spot 2 stars for excellent service and wonderful lounge area. My order was processed quickly and the family working behind the counter was very, very nice. The space was clean and comfortable. I really wish I could give a higher rating but I was very, very disappointed with my order. I did not receive the salad that I ordered as it was advertised. I ordered a spinach salad with a scoop of tuna. It was supposed to come with raisins, strawberries, feta, and walnuts. Instead, I received a bed of spinach, a sprinkling of feta, a scoop of tuna fish, and a little cup of «walnuts.» There were no strawberries or raisins. In addition, when I dug into the walnuts, I discovered that most of the cup was filled with fried noodles(like the kind on Chinese chicken salads), a few sliced almonds, and maybe two pieces of walnuts. The fried noodles were placed on the bottom, with the nuts on top, so that I believed the entire cup was filled with nuts. It seemed deceiving to me. Therefore, I paid and tipped a total of $ 10 for what was essentially spinach with a can of tuna plopped on top. I do not intend to return unless management either amends the menu to reflect the true offerings or provides its customers with the advertised items.

Doesn’t seem like the Clairemont Mesa area can ever have enough deli’s, which is a good thing for lunch time in this busy area. Omega Deli resides off Murphy Canyon in a super busy office complex with very limited parking spots. The parking lot can be a hassle to maneuver as the management has made too many spots for the amount of space they have, luckily if you are in a quick pinch they have dedicated deli spots up front near the entrance of Omega. The front of Omega( ) doesn’t look like much, it has a nice seating area outside with a bit of shade from the umbrellas over the tables. But when you walk inside this place you get kinda impressed on how stylish and comfortable( ) the seating is. The dining area and deli are impeccably clean and the menu is easy to read. They also offer online ordering and phone in orders if you’re in a rush, this place got quite busy around 1145ish, when I was headed out the door. Like most delis in this area, they offer catering, breakfast items, pastries, lunch, soups and all the typical stuff you’d expect for a business area deli. They also offer a large selection of coffee items( ) and their drip coffee was pretty damn good when I had it. The Gringo was considered a deluxe sandwich on their menu and ran about $ 6.75. The Gringo( ) which I got on wheat was stacked with lots of turkey, cheddar cheese, plenty of fresh avocado and chipotle mayo. The chipotle mayo wasn’t really spicy as I was expecting a bit more heat from it, but the sandwich was good none the less. The bread was fresh and they had no issues with toasting it to order. The chicken vegetable soup( ) was quite good as a side, it sported thick chunks of noodles and small cuts of grilled chicken breast but very limited amounts of veggies. The soup was really good, not too salty or burning hot. The service and food at Omega deli were great, while it wasn’t anything different than most delis, the place seemed to pride itself on a neat organized dining area with lots of food options. They offer free Wi-Fi in here as well, my cellphone didn’t really get good reception in this building at all. I do like the good prices for a good amount of food for lunch.

This place sucks! The food is rushed and the service is horrible. Don’t return anything more than once they’ll refuse to take your order even though if was there fault the food didn’t come out right. If it were my choice they should be shut down.

I work in a nearby office building and absolutely love this place. Their wraps are delicious(especially the buffalo chicken wrap), what I’ve had of their other food has also been very good, and the customer service is great.

I give two stars for the Friendliness and Delivery, other than that food is mediocre at best. What prompted me to write a 2 star review was my very last order, A French dip Sandwich, it arrived slathered in Mayonaise, must be an off the menu special! So disgusting. I am quite fond of French dip sandwiches, and even had the pleasure of having some from Philippe’s the Original in Los Angeles. The sandwich I ordered today was a slap in the face of the legacy of French dipped sandwiches.

New ownership needs improvement! The new owners aren’t as concerned about customer service as they should. How can you deliver to my work place one week and not the next!!! I love the food but no longer a fan of this place.

Nice Deli! If you go visit this place it has a nice lounge like feel to it. Also free WiFi is available. If you stop in they have a frequent punch card for salads — maybe sandiwiches too, I have only ordered salads. My fave is the Southwest Chicken salad. The serving is HUGE which means an excellent value for the money. Omega Deli takes phone orders and delivers your food, if your order is over $ 10.00. This is not a bad deal. The food arrives fairly quick, although on occasion we have ordered and due to a large catering order or multiple other orders it can slow your deliver time down. Overall they aim to be quick about the deliveries. The menu had a wide variety of foods: sandwiches, wraps, burgers, smoothies and coffee drinks. The prices are reasonable. When visiting the location the staff is friendly. They take phone orders for pick up and delivery. Their online menu is having some technical issues and you cannot access it online at the time of writing this review. So I just keep a menu handy that I picked up on a visit. Overall a good place for a simple meal. Nothing gourmet but good food and solid service. David and his staff are super nice to me.

I called this am to order breakfast for delivery… my office is literally two min away and they come here all morning. They wouldn’t accept my delivery bc it wasn’t over $ 10(my order was $ 6)…They are already here at our officr 5 times an am so I don’t understand what the problem was. The guy was so rude about it that I will stop our Friday mornign breakfast orders and go to Eat Your Heart Out instead. Good thing there are places that want our business…

I just ordered food from here today for the first time. I had it delivered. It took about an hour to get here which was within the time frame they gave. Honestly I was disapointed. I think I was expecting a «real» deli experience, and what I got was a couple of sandwiches I could have made at home. Plus they forgot to bring the chips I ordered, I tipped the driver and everything so I’m a little bit annoyed that they basically got an extra $ 3.00 out of me for mediocre fare. I got a pastrami sandwich, I requested just pastrami, pickles and mustard. It arrived cold as in refrigerator cold, on bread that could have(might have) been made by Wonder. Nothing special, average amount of meat, lots of mustard, sliced in half. After eating at famous deli’s in Los Angeles and watching Food Network I think my expectations may be high I don’t know. I also ordered the Italian Sub, with no changes, and once again it was literally something I could make in my kitchen. The bread roll was average, I actually have some that taste the same bought at Vons a couple days ago in the kitchen. Average to low amounts of meat and cheese and a vinigerette that kinda overpowered all the other ingredients. The pasta salad tasted good and fresh. I ordered a Pepsi and it arrived in a can semi cold which I found interesting as the pastrami seemed colder. Then after waiting an hour for delivery, not being impressed with the food, and not getting my order entirely correct, The kicker was that I paid $ 20 for it all. I am not a restaurant critic and have no interest in slamming this establishment but this is my one experience with the place and probably my last…

First off the food is excellent. A wide variety of item to choose from including hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and salads. The combo meals include a drink, chips and a cookie(which is always a nice way to end a meal). Located inside an office building, the inside is well decorated, very clean and does not smell of grease as many do. There is perhaps seating for 30 inside and you have the option to sit out on their patio which might not be bad on a day where it isn’t so warm. For you morning fanatics, they also have many breakfast sandwiches and several different types of coffee drinks that are served both hot and cold. It’s the people that run this place that makes it stand out. The first time in, they made a point of asking name. As I left they said goodbye to me by name and on return visits have addressed me by name. It’s nice to see when a business tries to make a personal connection rather than just a buck.

This place used to be awesome! The new owners seem to be much more concerned about décor and paint colors than they are about the food. While I like how they’ve given it more of a lounge feel, I think they are forgetting the most important thing — they are a deli in a busy office building area. We don’t need big screen tv’s and couch like seating. What I need is a decent tasting sandwich and for my order to be correct when I take it back to my desk. Don’t bother asking for no mayo, or for them to toast it. Your request never gets translated to the kitchen. The chicken is dry and obviously not marinated. The sandwiches have gone from pretty darn good, to barely edible. Always dry and bland. I wish they would focus a little more on the food, and less on the furniture.

I’ve had 2 completely opposite experiences with this deli. the first time our company ordered lunch from here it was quickly delivered prices were reasonable and the food was REALLY good. The second time(just so happens we also had big wigs in the office that day from our franchise company) from the start ordering on the phone was a HUGE mission that took a good 30 minutes, the lady was incompetent and needed everything repeated multiple times. it took FOREVER to get delivered when we were promised a short time frame. now for the best part… people who ordered their chicken wraps could have gotten very ill because the chicken was RAW… not like a little raw… it looked like it was quickly seared. another ordered a salad and had a very long hair in her food. then they took forever to remake the food by then it was almost 3pm lunch is over by then. never again

I WISHTHISSDWCHPLACEWASINMYBUILDING!!! Sometimes when Subway gets boring and repititive, you want something else to strike your sandwich fancy. I ordered the Texan Sdwch which had roast beef, horseradish, lett chz all on a French roll. I also appreciated that this place takes advantage of the free chips with purchase of a sdwch. There are a number of other sandwiches that I def. would like to try out. Really good combos of different ingredients. The setting of the sdwch place is pretty big, plenty of tables and chairs. Huge windows to look at… well, cars and more buildings, but the light shines through like nobody’s business so ti’s very bright inside, and I like that! I was really impressed with the fact that after you order, you don’t have to wait for your sdwch because they bring over your sdwch for you. great service! I think what makes this place a tad more special is that the owner takes time to say hi and strike up a conversation. And because of my conversation with the owner, I also found out that his business caters too!(Might keep that in mind for my office folks) So I can tell that this place is very personable which is something you don’t get at an everyday sdwch shop. What’s also pretty cool is that the owner has pics up with many of the SD Chargers players! You want proof… well its apparent from all the pics on the wall, that’s what!!! «Omega Deli, what else is there to say but may I have another!!!» satisfied at SYU

I’m going to give Omega Deli 3 stars, it could be 4 stars but the sandwiches all just short of 4! I really enjoyed their chicken cordon bleu sandwich and their tuna sandwich. Their area is in the lobby of a business building and they get alot of business at lunch. Alot of Chargers/Former Chargers love the place, I know Drew Brees loves it and they have memorabilia signed on their walls. I like Omega Deli but they’re tiny bit pricier than Grab n Go which i think gives you a bigger sandwich for a lesser price. It’s also tastier at grab n go. Their breakfast burritos are relatively cheap and healthier than any regular mexican fast food place and they’re good! Omega Deli has good thick fries and their sourdough bread is good. I wish I could give them 4 stars but I want to be strict, honest and credible! So sorry Omega! Maybe I’ll change my mind in the future.

Thank you so much Al for your great service and great sandwiches. Normally I always order a sandwich that contains meat, but ever since I have had Omega Deli’s veggie sandwich it’s ok if I don’t have meat in my sandwich. Their veggie sandwich comes with: avocado spread, swiss cheese, sun dried tomato pesto mayo, tomato, lettuce and cucumber. For $ 5.45 this is a pretty gigantic sandwich. The whole wheat bread is thick and a hint of sweetness and holds the sandwich without getting soggy. This in my book is very important. If you decide to add deli meat(and they give you 8 slices!) it comes out to $ 6.70. Right now they even offer a free chips and drinks with the purchase. Most of their deli sandwiches are $ 5.45 and wraps are around $ 6.50 but it’s very quality and very fresh. Will be ordering from you again!

This deli is across the street from my office which makes it very convenient. The food is good and priced well. My favorites are the cobb and santa fe salads. My bosses love to eat there so I drop by a lot to pick food up. The owner is also extremely nice.
