Came in to connect their Internet connection and the owner treated me to a free sandwich. Holy cow that was good in coming back and paying next time.

Had lunch with my coworkers today. I played it safe with a gyros salad($ 9). It was quite tasty however inconsistently made. One of my coworkers ordered the same salad but hers did not have any onions but included a couple peppercini’s, while my salad had enough onions for the two of us and without any peppercini’s. Besides those oversights, the table consensus was the food was delicious. A total of 15 attended. I called 1 day prior and asked if there would be issues seating 15 at noon. The lady on the other end of the line said it would not be a problem. We arrived at noon and our table was ready. They were quick to bring us our drinks and once our entire party arrived we were able to order. A number of us have eaten here and remembered how spacious it is which was the main driver for selecting this location. We noticed the place did not get full at lunch time, at least it didn’t on this Thursday. As for the location, the place reminds me of something you would see in old vegas. A place that was probably pretty classy in the 60’s, but only has had minor updates since. To sum it up, a good place for lunch, but not a place to impress on a first date. Food = B Price = B– Décor = D Ambiance = B– Service = A

I tried the gyro and chicken salad for lunch, $ 10. It was a large portion, with a generous portion of gyros which was a bit dry and chicken, which was well seasoned. Lettuce and other produce was fresh and the dressing was a creamy lemony vinaigrette I think. Comes with Kalamata olives upon request. Overall it was a tasty salad. Everyone in my party was satisfied with their food. They ordered the House cheeseburger, wings, a chicken souvlaki plate with side salad. Entrees came out fairly quickly and service was cheerful but a bit spotty even though there were only 3 other tables being waited on while we were there. The place has the Hole in the wall, old school ambience of a place that also houses a Comedy Club in the evenings. There’s also a nice bar area in an alcove near the entrance.

Don’t come on a late afternoon. Had a very dead atmosphere. No sound going through out the restaurant and took a very very long time for our food. Got here at 5:50 and were still waiting for it at 6:20. Really didn’t seem as if our order was of any importance to them. Also our food was take out…

This was our first experience being here. We called in, to ask if they were dog friendly, and they asked what kind of dog, and we said large. They said yes, dogs were allowed. Which is great for us, because we have a very attached, separation anxiety rescue so we would get to bring her with. We walked up, and they gave us a table inside, which was nice for our pup. We ordered, and the waiter there was probably the chillest person, and was incredibly accommodating. I ordered the gyro plate, my friends ordered the shrimp flambé, and a hummus sandwich. My friend(who is a foodie from the East coast, knows her shrimp) noticed that the shrimp was over cooked, and the waiter took it off the bill and she reordered the chicken which she said turned out wonderful. The gyros themselves were sliced a little thin, so were partially dry, but I prefer a thick gyro cut and that’s my personal preference. The lemono soup was actually very good, and they definitely know how to make a good dressing. The tzatziki was mild, but good. It is a little pricey, more than $ 10/person, but it is a good atmosphere and they’re dog friendly, which is definitely a plus for us! Our girl is very well behaved, so the manager came over to us and complemented her, he forgot a dog was even in the restaurant! Very excellent service. Five for the service, three for the food, so I’ll leave my review with an even four.

Several of my work mates come here for lunch. We take for granted the delicious food and wonderful staff. I highly recommend all of the dishes but the salads are remarkable. The greens are so fresh and crispy. They do not skimp on the Feta cheese or the meat. And make sure you order some pita… it is freshly made and fabulous.

I have dined in while attending a comedy show before and was blown away by how delicious the food is, so decided to get a company meeting catered by them. Oh my gosh! Absolutely delicious! Exceeded our expectations. The food was delivered on time, fresh and tasted amazing! George was very accommodating to our particular situation and Tony was helpful with completing the order, as well as setting up at our office. The whole process was so very simple and we will definitely be ordering again! The food at the Greek Palace is good either dining in, or in mass quantities! I highly recommend giving them a shot!

I came here with my family after a spontaneous decision. Customer service was amazing, awesome server(possibly the owner). He was really confident vouching for all the food served here. My entire family Loved the food! Probably best Greek food I’ve ever had! Large portions, awesome flavors. I will definitely come back. So happy I discovered this place.

Tried the Greek salad with chicken, and it was really tasty — chicken was perfectly cooked, and loved the creamy, tasty dressing. We considered the nachos, but our server said it was cheese sauce rather than real cheese, so we passed. I would definitely come back. Would like to try the gyro pita wrap, and the fish tacos are supposedly great, too.

My review is for a Friday Night Dinner. Yay Date Night! I randomly came across an advertisement about a Stand Up Comedy night and was in the mood to do something different and was definitely not in the mood to cook. I am a fan of Greek food and I love to laugh so I thought that this would be a good idea and it actually ended up being a pretty fun night. The food was pricey and slightly sub-par(I prefer Daphne’s) – but the comedians were funny and it was a nice night of entertainment. I would not take out of town guests here – nothing super special. Upside– Something different Downside– Wait Staff –Customer Ratio — 1:10(tables)

This place is as traditional Greek as it gets! I came here for a work birthday lunch. After we were told where to sit the experience began. I got a greek salad and it was great. I like the whole vibe of the resturaunt. I would like to see it on a weekend with live music.

Perfect for lunchtime! I work around the corner and usually around lunchtime all of the surrounding food places are packed. Not here! There’s no wait to be seated or served which made for a relaxing lunch instead of rushed one. I got the gyro plate and salad and my bf got the chicken soulvlaki plate, the food was delicious and plenty while the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their gyro and chicken were yummy but for some reason my favorite was the side salad. Super fresh greens with onions, green pepper, cucumber and feta cheese, topped with a tangy Greek dressing… delux!

Food was pretty good. Service was pretty good. But, the place didnt’ seem that clean. So, it brings it down to «a-Ok.» The tablecloth looked like it had some old drink stains. And, my bf dropped his fork and said the carpet was dir-tay! Hence, we couldn’t apply the 10 second rule because quit frankly 10 seconds would be have been too long for a clean fork to be on that dirty floor. Other than that… my CHICKENSOUVLAKI(marinated chicken tenders) were pretty good and not dry. It came on top of some rice and came with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. The bread was fresh and soft, which is always great. The lunch plate was like $ 9.50. Overall, this place didn’t make a great impression on me. Just an okay one. TIPS: We sat kind of away from the main dining area closer to the stage. Maybe sit closer to the main area by the door. Might be cleaner?

A client of mine chose this place because it is right next to the Kearney Mesa Courthouse where we had a little business that day. In spite of the name, I got the impression that this place was more of a bar/comedy club and the food was an afterthought. A comedy club that probably hadn’t been remodeled in 20 years in fact. I don’t know what kind of lunch crowds they draw, but by the time we got there at 1:45 what ever lunch rush their may have been had died down and there were just two or three other parties in the place. I ordered a combo off the lunch menu; Gyros & Spanakopita. I didn’t happen to catch it on the menu, but that comes with either soup or salad. i chose Lemon Chicken Soup which was quite good. In fact it was easily the highlight of the meal. My client chose the salad and got a small Greek salad that looked a little tired to me, but he described as «OK». The waitress grabbed our empty plate and bowl, returned to the kitchen, took the order of people who came in near us, brought their drinks, brought their meal to them, read War and Peace, refilled their drinks and brought us our food. Actually, I am just kidding, I don’t know if she actually brought the other people a refill. But seriously, we weren’t especially pressed for time, and weren’t monitoring the clock, but it must have taken 15 – 20 minutes from the end of the soup to the start of the meal. The food was a mixed bag my Gyros were mediocre, There were about 6 or 8 small slices of beef arranged on a bed of rice to make it look like more. There were 3 pita triangles served along side & some tzatziki sauce in a chilled metal portion cup. My nitpick is with the presentation; wrap the meat in a pita and it will stay warm. Spread the meat out so all the surfaces are exposed and it gets cool rather quickly. It could just be me, but I would rather have a warm meal than a pretty plate. As for the Spanakopita, it probably was one of the last pieces of a large tray that lasted through the lunch rush and it showed. What should of been flaky was more of a crunchy texture, it was served at room temperature. It looked like spinach but didn’t taste like much of anything. Nothing was awful, but it wasn’t great either. One last comment on the service. At the end of the meal, I said good-bye to my client and went to the rest room as he drove off. When I left the restaurant, both the waitress and the manager were returning from the parking lot. My client had left his credit card behind(yes my clients buy me lunch – how cool is that?) and they had gone outside in different directions to try to catch him. They told me about it right away, and I was able to call and catch him when he was just a block or two away so he could return before he got on the freeway. That saved him the hassle of having to call the bank and get a new CC number. Did I mention they were really nice people?

I must have the Greek chicken salad with a side of pita bread on a regular basis or I go through withdrawls. The gyro meat, chicken souvlaki, spanikopita, and dolamdes are also very good. I cam here once for the comedy show, it was pretty funny and the place was absolutely packed.
