My friends, partner and I came here to try it out since we were craving for something delicious and sweet after a good hearty meal and saw this place on Unilocal since we wanted crepes specifically. So here’s what I thought about it. The service was great and the guy making our crêpe was funny, nice and friendly. However on the other hand, the crêpe was really not to our liking. The fillings was okay, there was a little bit too much and some a little bit too less. The crêpe that I had was really bad and awful. The crêpe wrap was so hard and chewy that I didn’t eat it all and had to spit it out. Let’s just say my friends and partner and I will no longer go there again.

My neice wanted crepes for her birthday and chose this spot. I have seen it tons of times and my daughter was bugging to go so this proved to be an excellent spot for an 18th birthday breakfast. It’s a little spot in a strip mall with a few tables… just enough for this big ass Mexi family. We filled the whole place and kept them busy till we left. The food was tasty and filling, I tried the Mermaid crêpe. It had shrimp, spinach, onion, capers, avocado, cheese and tomatoes. I could have done without tomatoes. I have this thing about fresh tomatoes in cooked food… yes I’m weird but if it’s cooked I prefer sundried tomatoes. The family had the surfrider, some Jamaican one, and basic nutella. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. The coffee was tasty as well. I noticed some people came in just for the fresh squeezed orange juice, I made a mental note to try it next time. I want to thank the staff for making my neice her own birthday crêpe, you made her day.

Oceanside farmers market. Oh my goodness, good!!! Had the Cali Surfer. Crêpe was warm and chewy, well flavored. With fillings like Cheddar cheese, bacon, and guacamole how can you go wrong? The owner was really nice too. :)

Honestly I expected better, I was sad because I’ve been wanting to try this place, but I did so I can now scratch that off the list. I gave it 3 stars because the crepes were mediocre at best. I chose one called summer blush that contained strawberrys, Grand mariner, and cream along with a side of scrambled eggs. I’m used to crepes that are stuffed and full of cream or whatever the filling is supposed to be, but my crêpe here was scantily clad I must say. Barley any strawberrys, cream on the side and not inside and the Grand mariner on top of the crêpe. The crêpe shell itself was not very tasty. It was hard and rubbery. Also the side of scrambled eggs looked like a fried egg that had been 1st off fried to hard then chopped up in bits and pieces. The seating in this place was ridiculous, only 4 tables with 3 chairs each and no insulation what’s so ever. An employee was burning a piece of bacon and it was so Hot in there plus we were inhaling all the smoke and came out of that place smelling like bacon.

Their vegetarian crepes were great! Not a fan of their sweet crepes, I was pretty disappointed by my strawberry Nutella… Mediocre to say the least. There’s only one person working so the wait is a little long. I liked that I could watch my crepes being made in front of me.

My husband and I got some awesome, savory crepes here. They make everything right in front of you and it is all super fresh. Their garlic and harissa sauces are top notch, and I’d like to think they have their own secret recipe for those. The girl working when we came in was super sweet and is an amazing multi-tasker… so shout out to her for being good at her job! This place is a total hole in the wall located in a tiny strip mall, so there’s a parking lot but it’s usually pretty limited. The only real negative of this place is that their crepes may be a little overpriced for what you get. Eventually I’ll come back and try a desert crêpe, but for now… this fat girl is trying to be healthy, so go eat some crepes for me!

Sunday mornings are filled with fruits and vegetables and watermelon juices and a delicious chicken green hen crêpe at La Creperie at the Hillcrest Farmers Market! The lines here are always the longest than any other food stalls but it’s well worth the wait. I got the green hen crêpe which consisted of grilled chicken, tomatoes, cheese and their special sauce! But everything on the menu looked just as good. So many wonderful flavors all piled into a very stuffed crêpe and their special sauce is addicting! There pricing is a little on the high side but it’s great quality and super yummy. Knocking off one star for the price point. But I’m def looking forward to Sundays now so I can get my crêpe fix! Nom Nom Nom!

I haven’t been to their actual store, but I experienced the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market tent with crepes made to order right in front of you. The guy making the crepes is awesome. Such finesse and technique. You can’t miss the tent, the line for this place is so long, but worth the wait. The menu offers savory or sweet crepes. The tent has the two round crêpe pans perfect for multi-tasking and dishing out crepes for the long lines that form at the Farmer’s Market. He even takes multiple orders and remembers them while making the order of someone else before you. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My advice is to add an egg to your savory crêpe, it is delicious and mixed in very well. And the Harissa sauce is bomb. The flavor is comparable to the Taco Bell fire sauce, but much better because it is authentic and not a processed sauce. I apologize for even using Taco Bell as a comparison, but if you never had the sauce and wanted to know what the flavor was, its the best comparison I have. Just writing this post is making me hungry …

Loved it here. Had a craving and stoped by. There was a large group in front of us and only one person running the place. It was a bit of a wait, but I wasn’t in a rush to go anywhere. I felt a little bad for her, but she was such a trooper and very friendly. She made them pretty fast and it was fun to watch. I saw almost every kind, from the large group before me, that I was constantly wondering if I should change my order. They all looked and smelled amazing. :0 I will definitely be back to try different ones.

Me and my girlfriend came across this place on Unilocal,as we were looking for some sweets in the North Park area. We finally went and we had a couple of Nutella crepes with strawberry and banana slices. The presentation was a 6/10, I wish they would use something other than paper plates. They are pretty big with the fruit added, so do not go after a huge meal, as we had to get a to-go box. Overall it was an ok eat for us. The place was very small and tight, also had some obnoxious squeaking stools. Not a bad place though, may come again and try something new in the future.

I come here when I want a light breakfast and am craving some European flavor. The crepes are tasty and the ingredients are high quality. I have never been disappointed to date here. Service is usually quick although restaurant is small. Friendly service. I’ll be back!

Visited their stand at the Sunrise Market in Oceanside, CA, at the recommendation of fellow shoppers. WOW! This was seriously the best crêpe I ever had and well worth the wait! I ordered Popeye’s Revenge with garlic and spinachy goodness! Added an egg, feta, and hot sauce — was sooooo good!($ 10) I wish we were going to be here for another Thursday morning to go again!

Yay! Love crepes! It’s located in a little business complex so it can be a bit hard to miss(it’s right past Seguaro’s Mexican food). The restaurant itself is pretty small with about 3 – 4 round tables with 4 chairs each. There was no one there when we first arrived but we saw a few people come and take their crepes to go. I personally love savory crepes for the sweet crepes. They have crepes for ~$ 8 – 9 for savory and ~$ 5 – 8 for sweet crepes. The crepes are made right in front of you! I don’t know how they do it since I’m sure I’d get performance anxiety! You can also add a scrambled egg for $ 1 and I also added avocado for $ 1. They also have a secret sauce called Harissa which is delicious and has a bit of a spicy kick to it(I don’t think it’s too spicy). The crêpe was massive and I scarfed it down within minutes!

Hole in wall, slow service, and too expensive for what they have to offer!!! Crepes with no ice cream??? Very disappointed! I do have to say that it was freshly made and o.k. in taste.

Yummy! If i had only known about this place earlier, i would have never gone to chocolat. Its a cute small shop, strictly for crepes. I always thought crepes were for desserts only — it turns out its also a sandwich type thing where you can add bacon, avocados, tomatoes, etc. I think ill stick to the dessert toppings. Good service from the chick and french crêpe maker. Its cute how they write /track all orders on a college rule paper vs – a receipt printout. Very affordable and monies worth, unlike chocolat 13 $ for a tiny thin crêpe…, like really? It was only 7 $ for my nutella with almonds here and its thick too! so good!

I have never been to France so I cannot vouch for authenticity but La Creperie has some of the most delicious crepes I have ever eaten. Very light meal packed with flavorful taste. Everything is freshly made when ordered. I feel the price is a little high(depending what you get) but the quality is enough for me to say it is still worth checking into. When the owner is in, you can expect some lively customer service, but when he’s out, nothing special. Overall, La Creperie is a great little eatery to come in and eat some good tasting crepes. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.
