This coffee shop has been underway a few months now and is doing quite well so far with their coffee brews and friendly mannered service. I stopped in on an early Sunday, a little after 8 am, and I was glad they were opened. I ordered a house medium roast Moto coffee with a touch of room, just enough for a little honey. The coffee was quite strong and exactly what I need for the day’s adventures up ahead. The honey was just what it needed to quiet it down. Given it was of a Moto variety it was aggressive at the beginning, robust, and rich, yet with a smooth finish. They also offer baked good from the Le Parfait Paris local bakery, which if you have already tried them, you already know they bake some great pastries. In the future, they plan to add a few more items to the menu, such as some savory items. The owner is an antique collector. In fact, he owns the antique shop right next door. As a result, the coffee shop flaunts some of his collection on a eclectic manner. One thing this coffee shop has going for it, it is located in an up coming neighborhood, just south of the 94 overlooking East Village: Grant Hill.

This cute shop is walking distance from my apartment. I loved my hot chocolate, the pastries, and the homey atmosphere. It’s just getting started, but I think it’ll be a great addition to the neighborhood and I can’t wait to come back.

I’ve never had a Mexican Mocha before, but when the owner said«Try it and if you don’t like it I’ll make you something else» I jumped off the deep end. It was delicious, and I’ll definitely be trying an iced version in the near future. The owner was very warm and welcoming and the décor was cool too. The price was reasonable and the menu was simple yet diverse. My mom requested coconut milk and this was no problem. This would be a cool date spot, and I plan on coming back next time I’m in the area!

I went in this morning morning to grab a cup of coffee. I happened to meet the owner Steve who was really friendly, and knowledgeable about coffee. He explained to me that it took him some time to find the right variety of coffee beans; that he was going to serve in this daring coffee shop. I say«daring«because this shop is a step closer to provide a better visual, and shopping experience in Barrio Logan.

Super excited to have a coffee shop in the neighborhood. Owner is very friendly and makes great coffee. Looks like they just opened … so, I expect they will add more furniture soon. Either that, or they are leaving space for dance competitions! :) JK

I don’t usually visit coffee bars, but when one opens in my old neighborhood, I just had to check it out. The coffee is exceptional and extremely delicious. Steven was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be stopping by again and again. One love SD
