Another good place that I found in the hood. Pretty legit drinks and food for extremely reasonable price. I’m in love with the tamarindo raspado, raspado loco and clamato prepardo. Everything is fresh and the staff are pretty sweet; I don’t speak spanish and they’re extremely helpful. A great place to go to on a hot day.

Authentic neighborhood sandwich and smoothies shop, across the street from the piñata place. Fresh fruit salads prepared to order, sweet or salty/spicy(pico de gallo). Also try fresh made smoothies, milkshakes, liquados or pressed fruit juice. Healthy and natural. Sandwiches made on Mexican rolls, choose bolillo(short baguette) or telera(round baguette).

Great service and awesome food. Their prices are slightly less expensive than most places. Clamato is great and packed with goodies. Definitely coming back.

The prices here are great! Love coming here. There’s other place like this around the neighborhood but honestly they cannot beat this place hands down. No offense to other businesses. They have a good menu to pick from. The owner is really nice.

Piñata Heaven! My sister wants her son’s first birthday party to be perfect and incorporate the Mickey Mouse theme. She went back and forth about how there aren’t many Mickey pinatas anywhere. There was small one at Party City for $ 20 that she said wasn’t vintage enough. I told her — «I’ll Unilocal for ya. :) Let the Elite sister take care of you» .Note these were my actual words lol. We google mapped our way over here, not the most familiar part of SD for us. Initially sketchy, ended up being pleasantly surprised. They and a ridiculous amount of piñata options! Patron bottles, Birthday numbers, ALL characters, ALL sizes… it was amazing!!! They also had all the popular mexican candy that i’ve only seen at the ice cream man lol. We found giant Mickey bodies(Minnie too!). We saw this Minnie face and we asked if they had it for Mickey, but she said no. She stepped down from the register quickly and said«we have this…» and THEREITWAS… the PERFECT, SIMPLE, MICKEY mouse shaped piñata. Basic black and red, it was beautiful. Exactly what she was looking for, it barely fit in our car… and it ended up only being $ 14!!! When you’re party planning for kids/pinatas, this is the place to go!!!

I got a Chamango and it was delicious!!! The staff are nice it’s just a little disorganized. Parking is easy. Make sure to spend more than 10 on a transaction if paying with card. They just need a more of a variety on the menu. But other than that yum!

So, I have been here a couple of times after running errands in the area and eating lunch at Las Cuatro Milpas. This is a small family shop that has party items and a really LARGE collection of piñatas in town. The colors are vibrant and the characters are fresh. Having just seen the recent Monsters Inc., I found Sully and Mike Wasowski 3′ and 4′ pinatas! My dd liked the Oscar the grouch piñata and she took a picture of that one. In the back of the small shop, I found a fruiteria with delicious fresh fruit smoothies, shakes, sno-cones, ice cream and various fruit«concoctions». I had an excellent strawberry smoothie and dd 1 had a banana smoothie while dd#2 had a strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Pretty cool! It’s in the ‘hood/barrio, so it can be an adventure.
