This review is for the hostess service only.
Arrived to BWW on a Saturday evening around 7:30 ish and the hostess informed our party of 4 that there was about 10 parties ahead of us. She also didn’t know how long to quote us for the wait since there was a game on TV. Ok no biggie, we decided to leave; however, as we were leaving we noticed the patio area had 4 – 5 empty tables. Hubby went back and asked if we could sit in the patio area, (note…there were already several parties receiving food and beverage service) and was told that they were no longer seating people in the patio. Unfortunately, we left BWW feeling like they just didn’t care or want our business.
Too bad! First impressions are everything. We will for sure not bother to come back!

Enter to this place at your own risk. Mainly because our server «didn’t feel comfortable» serving us after checking my friend’s ID because my friend was wearing colored contact lens, and she seemed like she has never seen a person wearing color contact lens before. That’s the main reason why she did not feel comfortable serving alcohol for us. We even confident enough and asked her to talk to her manager, who also was not being professional at all. Felt like he was being racist! People here did not even care that we were leaving just because our stupid server felt uncomfortable serving us from simply checking our IDs. So much for customer comes first right? These people need to go through some ID check training.

Cold French fries as an appetizer.
⁴⁄₅ orders were wrong.
Took an hour to get food.
No carrots or celery.
No ranch.
No empty trays to put wings in.
Took forever to get refills.
Overall worst BBW I’ve ever been too and I’ve been eating at this chain for over a decade.
No offer from management to apologize for this disaster.
Won’t be back.

For as large a restaurant chain as it is and the prices they charge? You’d expect more than tiny little chicken pieces slathered in sauce and presented to you in the same cardboard boats your middle school cafeteria used. The atmosphere is great, they play all the games on their TVs, but I expect WAY more presentation and value from a company as big as this.

BDubs isn’t known for amazing service but this is low even for them! There are PLENTY of open seats but yet everyone is still waiting on tables? And no one can seem to give a good answer as to why. Then I went up to the bar to get a drink while I was waiting and 2 bar tenders were more concerned on the game than serving people! This has been a very unprofessional visit! I come here bc the food is good and the games are on, but there are plenty of other places I can get good wings and watch football!

We came here around 7:30 on a wednesday night and had to wait 15 – 20 minutes even though there were many tables open. The food at BWW is always a little too salty for my taste. We got the parmesan garlic, buffalo original, carribean zest and honey bbq. We liked carribean zest and original the best. We got a side of carrots and they were disgustingly dry. But make sure to get some veggies with the wings! Youll feel slightly healthier. Our server was not really friendly but he wasnt unkind either. It was a whatevers experience. There are so many TVs– you dont know which one you want to watch. But i guess thats the point of having so many screens. Overall atmosphere is really chill.

The only reason Im putting two stars is because my blueberry lemonade is delicious even though it took fifteen minutes to be made. The server is just very slow and it has now been over thirty minutes. Im hungry.

Came on a Thursday and totally forgot about boneless Thursdays! $ 0.70 a boneless wing on Thursdays, but dressing, celery, and carrots are not included.
We ordered the Irish potato wedges and it came with some onion type of dip. The onion tip was really good and the potato wedges were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.
The boneless wings is where it got pretty mediocre. The boneless wings came out and they were hard and not hot. It was like having to put effort into stabbing a rock. Parmesan Garlic was not that delicious. The Asian Zing did have amazing flavor, but the bread on the outside of the boneless wings was so displeasing.
I’ll definitely come back on a Tuesday for wing Wednesday! It was pretty packed when we got here, around 7:30pm on a Thursday, but we were seated within 10 minutes.

Was literally just here. I sat down at 7:05 didn’t even get spoken to. I left at 7:30. I appreciate that awsome service.

Found a eyelash/​nose hair in my spinach artichoke flat bread :/​the food was super delicious. Our server gave us wonderful customer service. I felt bad to tell him that there was a hair in my food because I know it wasn’t his fault. I then told him, and he apologized and took my food and gave me a brand new one. I wish I remembered his name but I knew he was new, I believe he was of Mexican descent and he had black hair and a dermal near his eye. He was working under Sarah’s cash register so i couldn’t really find his name anywhere, and I should’ve asked, but anyways he was a great server and also checked up on my Mac and cheese that was missing from the order when he delivered it to us. He told me that they’re make a new batch of Mac and cheese and it’ll be here in a bit. He came out with my Mac and cheese and it was steamy, piping hot and delicious. All of the food is delicious really. He also did a great job explaining the new limited edition Moroccan fire sauce, it really tasted how he described it. He also gave me a new Dr. pepper and gave me boxes and tops for my Mac and cheese and ranch. He was probably the best server I ever had in BWW, even when it was slow on a Sunday afternoon, I still give him props. This specific location is a hit or miss with customer service, especially when it’s busy.

If you know me, speaking to all of my friends, I AM OBSESSED with bdubs! Boneless wing Thursday, yes please! Jerk Chicken?! Yes please! Honey BBQ?! Yes please! Love when they have limited edition flavors as well. Their wasabi flavor was pretty bomb, wish it will come back soon! I’m always coming here to meet up with all of my old coworkers and super awesome boss. I got them hooked. So now, we schedule a monthly thing to eat here and catch up, since everyone has moved on from our horrific job where we all met.
Excited for when football season comes back around. Just not looking forward to the long wait! Is it Thursday yet? 75 cent boneless wing!

Only complaint was the wait… Get here early or you will be waiting. Other than that, the staff was great and so was the food! A+++

45 minute wait, empty tables everywhere, five hostesses and a manager at the front desk. Haven’t eaten yet (still waiting), but as a former restaurant shift manager, this is ridiculous and unacceptable.

I love the chicken wings and the variety of beers (aprox 30) in this place but the staffs are rude!!! Try the happy hour btw 3−7pm for tall beers for 3 bucks!

I love the food but lately the staff sucks… To much playing around instead of working. they speak a lot of stupidity that people who are waiting to be seated shouldn’t hearing… we ended up going to hooters instead

Compared to other establishments of the same ilk, it’s about the same type of food with good service. I give it a 3 cause it’s a place where I wouldn’t visit on the regular, but would go if a group of friends wanted wings, wanted to watch some games.
Other than that, just your basic type of hooter, tilt to kilt type place. Nothing wrong with that though, just not my cup of tea. If you are all about it, go for it :)

I USED to LOVE BWW. Before it came to San Diego, my friends and I would literally drive up to Irvine just to eat it every other week.
Yesterday, a group of us came here for the football games. It was crowded and there was a wait but nothing out of the norm right? WRONG.
SERVICE — We got there around 12:45pm and put our name down for a group of 8 people. We knew there was the morning game going on and of course the afternoon one coming up. The wait, we were totally fine with it.
While standing outside watching the TVs from the patio, I noticed that there were a few empty tables just sitting there. Those tables could have easily be filled with people who were ALL WAITING OUTSIDE. How long did it take them to realize there were tables open? 20 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though since it was Sunday and it was busy because of the football games. Whatever.
1:15pm rolled around so we went inside to check the status. INSIDE, there were a few tables next to each other that could be pushed together. I pointed it out to my boyfriend and I was waiting to see how long it would take them to learn some common sense. Keep in mind, there were several managers at the front. 15 minutes later, some workers pushed the tables together to accommodate a party of 8. I mean common now, it is super busy. Be aware of your surroundings and get people accommodated! It is not that hard to realize there are tables that you can push together. There were just workers walking around or standing in the front not doing anything!
We did not get seated until the 2^nd half of the afternoon games. SECOND HALF. They felt bad so they gave us 20 free wings. What happened after that? They put it on our tab! We literally had to say hey, you said these were free.
FOOD — Mediocre. I am over the food here. It is not as good as it used to be.
Overall, it was a terrible experience. They have horrible customer service. It gave us all a bad taste in our mouth about BWW. We all decided that this is not a go-​to for food or games.

Of course the wait on Gameday is gonna be crazy long, but that plus a couple of other disappointments were totally made up for by the good service and excellent food.
They didn’t have any sort of happy hour or specials during NFL Sunday — kinda unheard of! And then it seemed like every beer I wanted to actually order was out, but finally I settled on something and tried the Twisted Margarita (orange, mango, Hornitos and Cointreau) which was pretty delicious.
The medium platter of wings came with 15 wings, and we got to choose three different sauces — of Spicy Garlic, Caribbean Jerk, and Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic was definitely our favorite! When we got the wings they didn’t seem like there was a lot of sauce on them, but the server offered us extra wing sauce on the side which was cool. We got the wings very quickly so it seems like they just make them in massive amounts, sort of haphazardly dip them in the sauces ordered, and send em out. I mean the place was packed so I kind of don’t blame them, especially since they sent out extra sauce later. It isn’t very cheap, it comes out to more than a dollar/​wing but — at least yesterday! — it was worth it.
Overall not a bad place to watch the game, the servers are really attentive even though the place is just jam-​packed (with a lot of drunk people, too, notably), and the food is just so good. Will be coming back for «Boneless Thursdays» when wings are $ 0.65!

Coming from the midwest, our family is a BIG FAN of Bdubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) so much so that we’ve driven 1hr+ to the other locations just to get our wing fix! WE ARE SO GLAD TO SEE BWW COME TO SD and look forward to coming a lot more!
