Good option for a cheap, fast meal. Got the grilled veggie burrito and tortilla chips. It was pretty decent, inexpensive, service was very fast, and the location is convenient. The seating is pretty limited and they don’t have a salsa bar(unlike most taquerias). And it wasn’t as mind blowing as some of the previous reviews make t sound. But a solid meal all in all.

I go here whenever I’m in the area and want Mexican food! Very authentic and super good. I personally think this is the best spot in town, and always a thumbs up. Check them out and give it a try. Great food and good prices. Very friendly service.

I ordered super carnitas burrito for to go and I specifically tell the guy to make it crispy but guess what??? ITISNOTCRISPYAS I SPECIFICALLYASK!!! The first bite on my burrito and I already know I’m not going to enjoy it. The bad part is, they’re not even busy at that time and I’m the only customer there. I don’t understand why he couldn’t do the simple order. I was already planning to go back there to try their california burrito but that’s not going to happen anymore.

Delicious food, friendly service. The meat in the tacos are well seasoned and tender, but still with a little char on the outside, just delicious. I also got the fajitas plate, which was a bounty of grilled chicken, bell peppers, and onions. Big portions, good food. Only negative is no free chips.

Maybe it’s because I’m from Los Angeles or know amazing cooks, but I thought the food was maybe average at best. I guess I’m a little picky because I’ve had some amazing Mexican food. I actually even prefer trucks than this place. We got an asada torta, carne Asada nachos and a tostada(can’t remember what kind of meat). Portions were smaller than what I’m used to. I usually am very full after I eat a torta, just not that night. I ate my entire torta plus half of the nachos. The meat was dry and tasteless. Most of their food was bland… The salsas, beans, etc.

I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! This is place is really good, my first time was 2 days ago I ordered Carne Asada Fries, maybe a little more sour cream but The Chimichanga(Steak) and Fried Fish Tacos were BOMB! I only ordered 1 Fried Fish Taco b/c I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. Well guess what, I went back the next day and my GF& I ordered Fried Fish Tacos and 1 Prawn Taco each so delicious! This is my new favorite spot, I shall be trying the other’s as well.

Hands down one of the best spots to visit when your craving you a burrito, taco, nachos, overloaded fries and churros. This is the only place I can enjoy every bite of my grilled chicken burrito. The owners make sure they give there all when serving their customers. If your considering paying them a visit just STOP and start driving their way. Trust you won’t be disappointed.

There carne asada fries was so bomb!!! Ans they give huge portions. Barely finished my plate. And their green salsa, mm mmmm mmmmmmm!!! I can’t get enough of it. Place can get crowded since its small but other than that no complaints here. Workers were very friendly and always had a smile on no matter who came through the door. Whether it was a family or teenage kids who just got out of school. Seriously try this place out and you can’t miss it since their orange!

Ordered about 10 burritos and nachos over the phone. They didnt mess up on the order at all and finished the entire order within 20 minutes. Not to mention the quality of the meat was delicious and the food was amazing. Great place will definently be back for more.

Just called and placed(in my opinion) a rather large order with a bunch of annoying requests. Guy on the phone was super patient and really friendly. Same for when I went to pick them up. Always a great experience coming here the staff seems to really care about their business and that definitely translates into high quality food. Al pastor is dope here!

One day I had a craving for some California Nachos aka nachos with fries instead of chips in case you didn’t know. I saw on Unilocal that Taqueria Mi Durango had them from their pics which looked awesome, so I wasted no time in dropping by. Durango Nachos with Al Pastor — No doubt about it, this was a pretty impressive plate(or box if you’re getting technical). It was really good, but I found that the best part was the guacamole which had a nice creamy tang to it. Loved the mountain of meat they piled on top of the fries. Their al pastor pork had a lot of flavor! I thought it was a little lacking in the cheese department though which is a little disappointing for nachos. No matter though, my craving was thoroughly satisfied! I’d come back again to try their other stuff, or even for another order of Durango Nachos. The restaurant is near Tanforan which I normally go to on a weekly basis for Target, so if have a craving for some good Mexican food, it’s nice that Taqueria Mi Durango is close option.

The food is really good. The lengua was perfect. The guy who took our order was really friendly and polite. They had the typical Telemundo soap opera on one tv and the Warriors kicking the Spurs on the other tv. Giants memorabilia decorates the shop.

Taqueria’s are everywhere in the bay area so competition is tough. Taqueri Mi Durango opened up a year ago replacing a buffalo wings place and it’s a hit! The family that runs it are super friendly. Make sure you’re a Giants or Raiders fan. :-) You can choose different flavored tortilla if you like. I normally just go with the plain. All their meats are very tasty. They have a prawn burrito that is awesome! Sometimes I also order their breakfast burrito for dinner where they put chorizo, cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, and french fries. Damn good! If you’re into the no carb thing they can make any burrito into a burrito bowl instead. Oh another thing that have is a Durango Nacho where instead of chips they replace it with fries and pile on the toppings and your choice of meat. I go there 1 – 2 times a week so that indeed deserves a 4 start rating!

I came here based on the great Unilocal reviews. It definitely lived up to all its stars. I ordered two carne asada tacos and a carne asada super burrito. The tacos were overflowing with juicy tender beef, cilantro and onions. They were excellent! The super burrito was nice and big. It was packed with all my favorites and it was obvious there was a lot of meat throughout the entire thing. The flavors were excellent and the burrito was very filling. The cook even took the time to ask us how we were enjoying our meals. It showed me that they care about the product they are putting out and their customers opinions matter. I would definitely recommend Taqueria Mi Durango to others and I will definitely be coming back to support a great locally owned business.

Lived in this area all my life but somehow never noticed this place on El Camino. After looking at the Unilocal page I decided I had to try it out. From looking through pictures I already knew I wanted to try the wet burrito and at least one of the tacos. They didn’t have the breaded fish taco on the day I came, so I tried the shrimp instead, which was really good! I ordered carne asada in my burrito, and overall it was pretty good. This is more of a mistake on my part, but I ordered to go and by the time I got around to eating it, all of the sauces, sour cream, and guac had kind of gotten dried up into the tortilla. I think if I had eaten it sooner it would have been even better, but it was still good regardless. I also LOVE that they have different kinds of tortillas. I got the garlic and although I couldn’t fully taste it with all of the sauces on top, I still think it’s great to have the option. I definitely want to come back, probably on a day when they have their Taco Tuesday specials!

Now there’s no need to go all the way to Mission for delicious and inexpensive Mexican food. Durango feels like a piece of the Mission planted right here in San Bruno! Being used to dingy taquerias, I was surprised by Durango’s clean and bright space. Large windows made the small taqueria feel airier. Several tables provide a clean space for dining in so you’re not limited to just grab and go. Large flatscreens are mounted at both ends of the taqueria to enjoy Giants games and other sports. If you couldn’t already tell from all Giants memorabilia and orange-colored walls, this is a Giants house! The meats are ample in portions and flavor no matter what you order. This runs true for the grilled chicken in my quesadilla, the lengua in my tacos, and the steak in my nachos, all of which I’d recommend. The portions are unsurprisingly big enough for me to leave with leftovers for later, but even my boyfriend was stuffed from the surprising amount of food. Prices are reasonable if not cheap, especially considering the portions you get. The quesadilla suiza runs $ 5.95 here, and a regular taco is $ 1.95. Credit cards are accepted, too! Food trucks are my usual fix for Mexican food cravings in San Bruno, but Durango is my new go-to.
