Was blessed to stop by Soma StrEat Food Park today, I was wanting some comfort food, so I Hit up this beautiful truck and ordered three carnitas tacos mild style. Absolutely perfect! The green salsa is to die for! Wish I would have ordered more!

Best taco truck out there. Food is simple, no gimmicks or «fusion», tasty and traditional. The owner Ivan is a real cool guy also. Try it out, it’s Mexican food done right!

If you are looking for a taco truck without all the frills and gimmicks Tacos El Tuca is the taco truck for you. It’s how a taco should be served, simple. Two regular sized corn tortillas, meat, diced onions, cilantro, chile and a spash of lime with a side of pickled jalapeños and carrots. The tacos de lengua(beef tounge) are my favorite but the carnitas and carne asada are in a close second. I can assure you, I haven’t had a bad taco yet. The staff at the Tacos El Tuca are always friendly and accommodating. The trucks exterior is always clean, and I think it would be a safe assumption that it would translate to the interior of the truck. I know the address say they are located in San Bruno but i’ve had their tacos at the SOMA StrEat Food Park(42811th Street, San Francisco, CA94103) in San Francisco. Happy Eating!

Tacos are on point, the spicy sauce is spicy but not a burn that i could not handle. Meat was tender and extremely complex flavor. Not your typical taco truck, who can stand toe to toe with most gourmet food trucks

Tscos El Tuca’s pricing is a lot higher now that they’ve hit the big times.(see pics for old pricing) menu: tacos(1.75) burritos(6), super burritos(7) tortas(6?) plato plate(10?) locale: soma street food park(¼) eats: lengua/carna asada/carnitas tacos(1.75@)) –carna asada dry, chewy –lengua, tender, fresh tasting –carnitas: juicy, a little spicy –large portions mixed with salsa, cilantro, onions. 3.5 stars frijoles refritos: –cheerful service with a smile, cashier thanked everyone for patronizing –ingredients had taste of freshness, not obviously premade. –short line –food above average for mobile food truck, upgrade to 4 stars –only tacos a good value, burritos, et al. not sure –cash only.

Update: They contacted me to make amends and said they would send the check back, never did, and now I cant get a hold of them :( Oh well live and learn! Sorry guys, have to remove stars. We negotiated a price, and later on months later, they still cashed my deposit check, after we already paid in full. I thought that was rather shady. Really disappointed actually?

I’ve been going to Tacos El Tuca since I first saw them show up in San Bruno. By far, the BEST taco truck this side of the Missisppi. One of the cleanest trucks I’ve seen! I usually order the Carnitas burrito, and have yet to be disappointed. I liked the food so much I hired them to cater my birthday party. All of my guests loved the food. I’ve heard that they are now doing the Soma food truck events, and I haven’t seen them as much in San Bruno which makes me sad, but they deserve to be out there.

I’d figure a taco truck would be a great way to end a long week at work. A carne asada super burrito is my go-to mexican food whenever I try a new mexican taco truck or restaurant. Why do you ask? Well, because I’m a carnivore that prefers the meat of cows and that the best way to eat cow is to eat it carne asada style. 99% of the time, carne asada is juicy and full of taste. Unfortunately, Tacos El Tuca is that 1% for carne asada. The carne asada was dry and lacked any marinade or spices. End of story.

I signed up for Unilocal just to write this review. While driving down El Camino to work, I found El Tuca with their truck advertising $.99 tacos. I ordered 5 tacos(one of each) for an even $ 5. I got to say they were quite something. Although the meat was marinated and cooked for a long time, the juices still ran with every bite. The tortillas, grilled with a perfect, slight crunch, added great texture with the soft interior. The tacos can be ordered either mild or spicy and they give pickled jalapenos and limes on the side. Stop reading. Go.

Our family’s favorite taco place — truck or restaurant. They catered my son’s birthday party and it was a total hit. chicken, beef, pork — all the tacos are great. And at $ 1, it can not be beat. We come here every month for our taco fix.

Tacos el Tuca is our favorite local taco truck; they make great, honest food with a smile. The pickled jalapenos and carrots, and fresh sliced radish, are a nice garnish with their rich spicy tacos. They don’t always seem to have the radish, but it’s always crisp and sweet when they do. They go home earlier than some of the other San Bruno taco trucks, so try to get there early!

Nothing makes me happier than finding a good taco place, and this taco truck delivers. The al pastor super tacos are delicious! There’s a good mix of meat, vegetables, and that ridiculous salsa. From what I can tell, instead of refried beans, there’s pinto beans with parmesan on top if that’s a side you plan on ordering. The owner is super nice, and the prices are SUPER cheap! The truck parks on the corner of San Mateo Ave and El Camino Real, right next to the gas station. My heart still belongs to Olé Olé Burrito Express in Oakland, but this is a delicious option in the San Bruno area.

I had a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Action( ) at the Speakeasy and Tacos El Tuca was there to make sure everybody ate well. All of my guests raved about the great food. It was fresh, affordable and served by a really nice staff. What more could you ask for?! I had two supper veggie tacos right before the event and they were wonderful. They tasted great and since I’m very picky about my food, I was pleased. I will be going there very soon for more yummy food at a great price. Maybe we can convince them to get another truck in San Francisco, that would be awesome. Thanks guys for helping all my guests have a great time with your wonderful Mexican fare.

Viva Tacos El Tuca!(taco truck) I just had my fix of the pollo asado dinner plate. A combination of grilled chicken, rice, beans, pico de gallo, avocado, jalapenos, limon wedges, cheese with a side of tortillas, all for 6.99. Very fresh and not greasy. Nice guys too. I highly recommend!

This is an okay food truck. I got the Carne Asada Regular Burrito for $ 5. The beans & rice were pretty average, and the carne asada was a tad bland though I got the spicy option. The carne asada was also a bit undercooked for my taste, and was in very small pieces. The service is great though, and it’s conveniently located right next to a 76 station. If you’re looking for a really good burrito, go to San Bruno Taqueria instead — their carne asada pieces are large and much more flavorful.
