The tacos where great but the service was awful! The lady serving the tacos outside in the entrance called my group ignorant. When I go out to eat I expect to be treated with respect, can’t imagine a person that goes out to eat to be disrespected. Although delicious tacos where pricey and they came with a sour attitude. Would never eat there again, there’s plenty of restaurants where you can go and get treated like a paying customer.

On the weekends they make the tacos outside, street style, and they are soooooo good! It’s really hard to find cecina tacos but this place has them! I pretty much go there every weekend since I found about it.

This place has become my new spot. They have the absolute best nachos ive ever had, and also make a killer burrito. My favorite part of this place is the service I receive everytine I come in. My man Brian takes care of me every time I see him. This dude will be owning his own restaurant one day.

Tried this place several years ago and was not too impressed. It looks to be under new ownership and has improved quite a bit. Went there because I heard that they do «street tacos» in the front patio on Thurs/Fri/Sat. Choice of 4 different meats for $ 2.00 per taco. Lots of choices of toppings at a do-it-yourself counter. The Pineapple Pork was my favorite. Good taste and fresh. I will be back!!!

Can’t go wrong with the Vera Cruz burrito. Filled with fresh avocado, chunks of queso fresco, and of course, the plantains — it’s delicious and the best thing on their menu. Second to that is the chile relleno. No frills, plenty of seating and efficient service. Good stop for a bite to eat.

This place great food, is family owned, and the staff is friendly. Brian at the counter was very personable and made sure I got everything I requested and then some. I will definitely be back and intend to use them for catering in the future.

Poor food quality. Right after eating their tacos, my friend had major food poisoning. We will not be going back.

After three restaurants we tried were closed(why is everything closed on Sunday?!), we just decided to come here because it was actually open and there were quite a few people sitting outside. When we walked in, someone took our order quickly and gave us chips and salsa while we sat. First of all, the salsa alone deserves 5 stars because it was delicious! It was very flavorful and not too spicy. We ordered the mar y tierra burrito, carne asada tacos, and the mar y tierra entrée. It was all perfectly cooked and we were completely stuffed for a very reasonable price. I am very glad the other restaurants were closed :)

The food was decent. Between my partner and I, we had a fish taco, a steak taco, a carnitas taco, and plantains with creama. The tacos were«street style» and tasty. A bit too much liquid though. Chips were a bit stale and took FOREVER for them to bring to us. Which leads me to the service. The woman taking orders was also doing what seemed to be ten other things, including only half listening to our orders. The men sitting at a nearby table waited the amount of time it took us to eat our whole meal for the same woman to tell them that their papusas were«coming soon». I don’t think we will be coming back.

Best super veggie burrito I’ve had in awhile, especially for the price. Usually bell peppers and onions make the burrito feel empty, here it was just the perfect additional flavor needed. The beans, rice, cheese, and sour cream more than made up the difference. The price and quality give 5 stars. The salsa was the only«eh» part experience, not bad but needs some work. I did love the hot sauce in the squeeze containers though.

Food was so good. Authentic! Nothing like the real deal. We are coming back to this one. The retried beans tasted like they were out of my grandma’s kitchen! Inexpensive… Unlike some Mexican wanna be place in Monterey where I had to drop $ 85!

Came to this place skeptical because of previous reviews, but glad i did! I ordered a carne asada super burrito, cuz c’mon, you cant really mess up a burrito. Burrito was great! The steak was flavorful, even the beans were tasty! Hubby got the tacos and they were great too! The chips were stale, but overall, glad we chose this place for dinner.

We came here for lunch and it’s excellent. Beautiful fresh fish for the tacos and a huge plate of guacamole. The service was very helpful. Too bad I don’t live in San Bruno!

Horrible tasteless food. I observed the cashier serve clients chip with her bare hands after handling money. This restuarant lacks good hygien and proper managment. Employees do not wash their hands or use gloves or hair nets when serving food. The food lacked flavor and there is little to no customer service present. It makes me sad when restuaruants like these remain opened, i am suprised i did not get sick from their stale food.

This place has changed it’s name multiple times. This last change resulted in a rude owner. He doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in and is completely unfriendly. He practically rolled his eyes when he had to take my order. No «thank you» or courtesy at all. The food is ok at best. I’d save my money for another taqueria and give this burrito to one of the bums living on San Mateo ave.

I was excited to try this taqueria out but when I got there the cashier was just rude to my siblings and me. I cannot have any dairy so I ordered just a veggie burrito Mojado and i specifically told her without cheese or any dairy. When I got my plate the sauce had cheese all over it and I told her I was really sorry(because I really do feel bad complaining) but I didn’t want cheese on it because I can’t eat it. What does she do? Scrape some of the cheese off leaving most of it on the sauce and added more green sauce, not even trying to cover it up. And when I open the burrito 90% of it was bell pepper. It barely had any other ingredients in it. I was very unsatisfied and didn’t even bother to eat it. I just felt stupid and I should have asked for my money back. I’m very surprised that this taqueria had such good reviews.

So far, we’ve found this place to be the tastiest mexican joint in San Bruno. We normally order their plates, and both the carne asada and pollo asada are flavorful. well-seasoned, and portioned well. Their burritos and tacos are also very tasty. The nachos are also good, but the processed cheese topping ruins the dish’s flavor. The salsas they serve are all spicy. When we’ve asked for a mild one for our kids, what they gave us had chunks of jalapenos in it still; we’ve gathered there are no mild salsas here. If you like heat in your food, they will definitely bring it on. At first they didn’t serve horchata, only juices; but on our last visit, they finally had a jug of it. Not the best tasting, but good enough to accompany the meal. The prices are reasonable, the service is adequate, and the food is great! This is now our go-to place for mexican food in our neighborhood.

Very impressed on how the food tasted. Large chunks of meat in the burrito. Super tasty. Enough food for two separate meals with the one burrito. They even make wet burritos. Which will be my next visit. Free chips and salsa. Enjoy the fire roasted salsa. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Came here a couple days ago, and I must admit this is my favorite taqueria in San Bruno. Their fried tacos are hot, and their carne asada is thick and they give you a good helping of sour cream and guacamole. The chips and salsa was plentiful, especially for the two tacos I ordered. The staff was friendly, and for $ 6.00 I got two super tacos(one of them was fried) and extra chips and salsa.
