A really good local institution. Overall was very impressed with the price, quality of food and service! I had never heard of this place until I landed in Dallas. For those of us from the Mid-West, I would compare this place to an A&W of days past. And you can’t turn a corner anywhere in Texas, without seeming a Whataburger! The wife and I had the bacon cheeseburger, one with fries, one with onion rings. We had an option of regular ketchup or spicy ketchup. This place is very clean and family friendly, well worth the stop!

So, this is what all the fuss is about! I went for the classic, which is, I suppose, exactly what one might do on their first Whataburger experience. The burger is huge, and comes with all the fixings. I only had to ask for mayo. The customer service was outstanding. You get your own drink, but everything else is brought to your table, including condiments. Speaking of condiments — SPICYKETCHUP. Do it! Then do it again!!! It is actually really mild and even this self-professed«spicy is not so nicey» consumer dragged her onion rings through the stuff with aplomb. The onion rings were perfection. The batter to onion ratio was spot on and while I didn’t finish the burger, I certainly polished off those onion rings and picked up my tray just to be sure I hadn’t missed any of these tasty little gems. So, now I’ve had a Whataburger. Check! On to WC — Harold? Kumar? Who’s in???

I just can’t write enough about Whataburger!!! This location definitely takes the cake… or the malt shake. Excellent service every single time I’ve been here, it’s like a standard of the chain’s and it’s very much on display here. The dining room is always clean and so is the bathroom. Always. I won’t even comment on the menu, because there’s nothing particular from one restaurant to the next, but I will write that I’m glad that Whataburger decided to make the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich a menu regular. It’s probably the best chain sandwich ever created. What’s also surprising is that they’ve retained the Triple Whataburger in spite of everyone else downsizing their menus in that trendy fashion. Everything really is bigger in Texas, and this one’s a real lone star treasure. Overall, you cannot beat the service and comfort at this Whataburger.

Now I remember why I don’t eat at Whataburger at home.

I always come to this location. Amazing food. They’ve never messed up on my order, even when they were swamped with customers, and the service is outstanding!

I don’t understand why people love this place. I am from California so I expect a really good burger(in-n-out isn’t even that great and this place is worse). I expect good quality from a fast food place that is more expensive than McDonald’s. The burger was put together so sloppy and the meat was dry and no flavor whatsoever.

I think from a burger perspective this is a five star restaurant. It is always clean inside the building, including the bathroom. Your food is made as you order, therefore it’s piping hot when you get it and they actually take the time to make it look neat. This one of the only places that actually gives you what you see on tv. A beautifully stacked burger with no imperfections. Their breakfast menu is as good as the lunch/dinner side. My favorite is the biscuit sandwich. Fresh and moist. On top of that they have great customer service. I didn’t catch the managers name but I can tell he cares about what quality service is provided to his customers.

This location has provided food and service above the line of most Whataburgers in the past, What caught my attention was the relatively poor service I received at the Drive thru on January 10, 2014. I ordered the Monterrey meal on my lunch hour at the drive thru. There were 3 cars waiting ahead of me, I was sidelined to lane 2. Without watching minutes, I could not help but notice that several cars had been ordering after me, and receiving their bags and drinks at the window before an employee even approached the car for me to pay. When the employee brought my order he handed my bag as though I had caused him an inconvenience(I will usually see friendly service at WB). I feel I had an excessive wait time, received no explanation, I was additionally discontent when I discovered the locations thrift of placing only 1 ketchup in my bag. Upon calling the restaurant about their thriftiness, the reply was that this was their standard. I think I like better standards, but still, generally, a good location

Sure– I needed to try a «waterburger» as i HEARD other people say. it’s whopper sized, so don’t get a double because they are HUGE. I got mine with mayo and ketchup instead of mustard because that’s my idea of a good burger. It was good. The fries were good, the sweet tea was okay. The service is definitely where it is at. They were super nice and very service oriented which is very different from your typical fast food restaurant. it was refreshing to experience.

Normally, I wouldn’t care to rate a fast food restaurant, but I had to share my 4-star rating for this particular location. About 2 weeks ago, my husband and I went to this location for lunch and we received some of the best service we’ve ever received in a fast food dining room. We were greeted when we entered and thanked when we left. During our visit, every worker who came out on the floor asked us if we needed anything. The manager came out and asked how the food tasted and thanked us for our business. Perhaps one or two less people could have come to the table to check on us since 4 people ended up tableside, but it was still a great customer service touch that I can’t remember receiving in any other fast food dining room. This is how you get people returning again and again! Even in fast food chains.

UPDATE: The food went down hill since last time. There is no napkin on the counter.
