The Residences at La Cantera Apartments

Several times throughout my lease term I would request for certain things to get done or asked certain questions and I would not get a response. I would always get a, «we’ll get back to you on that», and no one would ever respond. The staff is always courteous and professional, but customer service is nonexistent. Responding to a resident’s request in a timely fashion is the epitome of excellent customer service.
That is not the worst of it, this is the first apartment community that has ever had my vehicle towed at my own expense when parked in the on-​site community parking garage. I like many residents utilize the garage on a daily basis, that is what we pay our rent. At the time of the actual tow, a deep clean of the parking garage was taking place. I do admit that they had sent out a notice via email for all vehicles to be removed from the garage before the deep cleaning began, or vehicles will be towed at the owners expense (RESIDENT or VISITOR).
At that time, I was out of town for work purposes and did not check my email, nor did I have the ability to move my vehicle in the event did I did see the email. I spoke with leasing agents at the front desk when I returned from my business trip, I requested to speak to the manager who happened not to be present at the time so they told me, as always, that they would have him get back to me. I did not hear from management whatsoever about my concern, which caused me to write this poor review.
This is a beautiful community, but the fact that they would tow the sole residents who pay rent and miscellaneous fees in a timely fashion disturbs me a great deal. In fact it disgusts me, this is unacceptable and I would never recommend this community to anyone unless something is done restructure the management of this property and how they operate.

Had the worst experience trying to lease from these guys. I’m in the world of customer service and they have absolutely none. I have called for over 10 days now trying to figure out what’s going on with wanting to rent an apartment. Not a single call back. Tom the manager is super confrontational when I came in to ask for my money back for the app fee. Do yourself a favor and go to Elian instead. For as expensive as these apartments are… You should get world class service. And they are a joke.

I’ve lived here for over a year now, and this place is nothing less than amazing. Professional people and great atmosphere. Good place for networking. Management is awesome. Very classy and super clean.

Great apartments! I am an original resident since they opened up. Management got a lot better since they hired the new guy who is fabulous and knows fashion. okay so since day one I was showing apartments by a very professional individual named Chris. He was a Hunk-​cicle if I might add hehe. Had a few issues with the old people who lived here, they called the cops on me every time I wear my speedo at the pool. Apparently someone doesn’t know European fashion. I love how the bar is walking distance just wished they had a few gay bars around here so I can get better luck on not coming home alone. The security can be a dick sometime but there are a few ones who I wouldn’t mind taking some police brutality from. The roof top is Soo gorgeous but someone called the cops on me because I was shooting a lady gaga music video for my YouTube channel. Got a citation for indecent exposure but I explained to the judge it was «Art» so they drop the charge. Also there is a noisy dog who is doesn’t like gays and barks like crazy, if you walk by the 2^nd floor some one needs to feed that dog chocolate. Overall great place !

They are really nice apartments. The walls are very thin so you hear lots of noise. I lived here since August and was really happy. I had to leave for a job change. Boy, are they nasty when you move out. Also some in the office lie, I can’t tolerate that. Different rules for different folks as well. Some get three strikes and you’re out and others get no brakes. Really disappointed with these people and how I was treated.
