Not bad, but we will probably not go back. It’s more Thai-inspired Asian fusion, if you really take a look at the menu — plenty of Cantonese and Vietnamese dishes with a Thai flair. Service was fast and friendly, but not only did they not have Pad Prik King on the menu(a Thai staple), our server didn’t even know what it was. Kids menu was not American kid friendly, and they don’t serve beer or alcohol at the Stone Oak location. My husband ordered his food at a heat level of 6, which they claim is «Thai hot» and said it wasn’t hot at all. Nothing terrible, cute atmosphere, but our search for good Thai food is far from over.

My son asked the waitress what the difference was between red, yellow and green curries. She got the manager to answer. No problem. Then, she said she couldn’t answer our questions, so the manager would have to take our order. Weird. Ordered a noodle dish with tofu and substituted crispy noodles. No crispy noodles on the plate. Tofu was cold. Asked the waitress to have hot tofu prepared. She asked me if she should put it in the microwave. I told her no, I wanted freshly cooked tofu. She took it back and brought me chewy, warm tofu from the microwave. Good news was the noodles were really hot now… We will not be back. Obviously, I didn’t get the memo as no one else came in for the hour we were there. One more restaurant bites the dust in Stone Oak.

I ordered takeout. The place looks plain inside. You can actually order online, which I did. Nice! I like spicy food. IMO, their spice levels are a bit low so if you like it hot then go up a level from where you think it should be. I had the Tom Kha Gai soup. It had some good flavors but it didn’t have enough coconut milk. With just a bit of extra coconut I probably would’ve rated this one a 4. As it stands, I give it 3⁄5. I also had the Som Tam(green papaya) salad. Everything was under ripe, crunchy, and tasteless. Also, there wasn’t much dressing for spice or flavor. I only had 3 bites. 1⁄5 I also had the Pad Thai. It was pretty good. My noodles were all stuck together but it was takeout so I can’t fault them there. Not enough lime included but I keep someone at home. The shrimp were way over cooked. 3.5÷5 I had Duck Curry for the first time. Duck is certainly a good protein to pair with red curry and the flavor was good. However, the sauce had the same consistency as the soup. 3⁄5.

We decided to order in tonight since the weather is pretty gloomy and both kids are sick. We decided on Phở and called to place an order for delivery. We were greeted by an operator that directed us to use their website to place the order. We thought that was weak since she could have easily spared two minutes and could have had the order in front of the cooks. But whatever, the site was easy enough once we went to the site. Delivery cost an additional $ 5, again no big deal… however the made guarantees that they didn’t follow up on. If you are paying with cash, which we were, they state they will call you right back to confirm your order. We liked that idea since we wanted to be sure it was working. We never heard from them but we thought they were probably in the weeds since they couldn’t even take our order over the phone so we let it go. An hour after we ordered we called to check in and the operator took a while to locate our order. She finally did and mentioned it was at the front desk ready and will be over in another 30 minutes, eventhough we are about a 10 minute drive. Another hour had past and still hadn’t heard from them. At this point we were over it. Knowing our food was ready an hour ago, we didn’t want cold food and called them back to cancel it. The operator said the driver was looking for the house which we didn’t buy either. They lost out on a $ 30 order, which I think is highly over priced for two orders of Phở Just our two cents, don’t order delivery from this place unless you are cool with it taking over two hours. Now it’s 8:30pm and we are still trying to figure out what we can eat.

We really like the papaya salad here with a hint of spicy kick! We are repeat customers and take advantage of the deals. The pearl shakes are yummy and must try. We’ll be back!

I love Thai food, and I loved Thai Corner. My boyfriend and I went because we had some coupon and decided to try it. The presentation of the food was great! I got a neat little flower on my pad thai. Also the dish was great, and the Boba was excellent.

This is the best Thai I have had thus far in Stone Oak. I’m sure if I drive closer to the city I’d probably find some good Thai. If you live in the Stone Oak area and looking for great Thai food check out the Thai Corner.

Drove by and saw the place so I took my wife and mother-in-law inside hoping for another great San Antonio eating experience. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. First, it was the end of the day, and the sun was blanketing the entire place except for the 3 booths. Because mom is older she needs to sit in a table. to make it comfortable for her, I had to sit facing the sun for 20 mins until it went down. All they had to do was put up 2 blinds to knock down the sun so we could enjoy the environment. We ordered the Pot Stickers. While they tasted OK, I was not sure what the sauce was they came w/as it was a thick sweet sauce w/some sesame seeds in it. I think it was Tamarind based, but I am not sure. My wife found it repulsive. Mom ordered the the Seafood Udon Soup. It was so bland that she literally poured salt in it to give it flavor. I though maybe she over did the salt. until I tasted it. It really did need that much. My wife ordered the Duck Salad and specifically told them that she wanted no onions. When the dish came, half the vegetables on the dish were either red onions or green onions. I ordered their«Famous» Crystal Clear Pad Thai at a level 5 heat(w/6 being their hottest). First, I would not have rated it greater than a 3. Unfortunately, the noodles were dry, the chicken was overcooked and did not absorb the flavor well either. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. with all the really good Thai places in San Antonio(Thai House, Lemon Grass, Chongco, etc.), we will never return here.

So I went here the other day to try it… wish I hadn’t. When I walked in, it was about 1:45… the lunch rush was over and no one else was in the restaurant. EVERY table was dirty and I had to wait until one was cleaned for me to sit at. I got there for the lunch special. Entrée plus soup, appetizer and tea. I don’t drink tea, so i asked for soda instead and was told no. Really??? It is only a few cents from the soda fountain… so I had water. The soup was tasteless. It was a broth with bits of onions and celery in it. Next came the spring roll. This was easily the best of my lunch, and that isn’t saying much. It was fried, with some veggies in it… typical mediocre spring roll. I ordered the pad thai with tofu as the menu touted it as one of the best. It was not. The noodles were sparse and served in a spicy broth. The tofu was in the biggest pieces I have ever seen tofu in! Due to the size, there was no taste in the tofu. I have made pad thai at my house before and mine was definitely tastier! Even though I was the only patron in the restaurant, I had to ask several times for my water to be filled. All in all, the food was mediocre at best. I was so sad that I wasted my lunch time here, when an utterly delicious thai restaurant is just steps away.

Yikes, perhaps we caught them on a bad night(Mother’s Day evening), but in any case we will most certainly never return — and if the service we experienced is typical this place will follow its predecessors in this seemingly doomed location to a quick demise. Service was truly awful … there were 3 employees tending to customers, and all seemed pretty clueless(one was particularly bad — sitting near the entrance texting while customers were waiting on checks, refills, etc — seriously, either do something useful or go home). While we were there, we saw at least 5 parties take their checks up to the front to have someone process their credit card — because the server dropped off the check and never returned. And the party next to us had to ask someone to take their order after sitting around for 10 minutes. As for us, we ordered an appetizer(Vietnamese shrimp rolls), 2 dishes, and 2 kids beef plates. We waited for 15 minutes, no sign of the appetizer. We asked texting girl about it, and she said someone would come over to answer our question. Nobody came. Texting girl came back and said the appetizer was«coming». About 5 minutes later, the server came out with one entrée and the 2 kids plates(still waiting on that appetizer). The entrée(a garlic chicken) was not good — a sticky mess, with little or no trace of garlic. The kids plates were OK — but clearly had been sitting around for at least a few minutes(they were bordering on cold). A couple minutes later the server finally brought out the appetizer(yes, after the entrée; at least the rolls were pretty tasty) then informed us that the other entrée we ordered was going to take«longer than the other dishes» — to which we responded with very puzzled looks(it had been 20+ minutes, exactly how long do you need for a fish in green curry sauce?). About 3 minutes later the fish turned up. It was supposed to come with some veggies, but arrived unaccompanied. We asked the server, and she ran back to check on the veggies — then brought them out on a separate plate(no idea if that’s how it was supposed to be served — but you would think the veggies would also be in the curry sauce). Anyway, the fish was pretty decent — the veggies, not so great(green beans were very hard, undercooked perhaps). I ran out of water midway thru the meal, but texting girl could not be bothered to help out with a refill. All in all, pretty much a disaster — and I think it’s safe to say that the 5 – 6 parties that overlapped with our visit came to the same conclusion. This place definitely needs some adult supervision … perhaps the regular crew took the day off for Mother’s Day.

+ Food + Surprise straw for drink + Service + New restaurant(very clean) I noticed this new restaurant while driving by and decided to try it for lunch. Upon entering i was kindly greeted and seated and ordered pepper steak as recommended by the waitress. To note the ice tea, appetizer, and soup is included with the lunch special. I left full and satisfied. Awesome service and delicious food!

Food: 4.5÷5 Service: 4⁄5 Atmosphere: 3⁄5 Visited this newly opened location for dinner with a good experience. I ordered the crab rangoons and tofu pad thai as a basis to compare with other Thai restaurants. Can’t go wrong with cream cheese-filled fried dough. The pad thai was about 1.5 servings, and was delicious — not drowned in sauce like other locations. My friends wanted to order beef Nam Tok, but they didn’t have that available. However, a good substitute would be the tasty Larb salad, even though they only have an option for chicken. The pricing was about average with other Thai places for dinner ~$ 11 – 13 main dish. It wasn’t busy for dinner, but had a consistent amount of guests throughout the evening. My 2 friends both had children, and the restaurant had high chairs available for them. The kids enjoyed being able to walk back and forth between the patio and the inside. A couple downers: it was HOT inside the restaurant. They need to improve on the HVAC system or circulation. Also, they automatically grat’ed our bill even though we only had 3 adults(maybe they counted the 3 kids too). I just like to be aware of auto-grats, and we didn’t see a sign for such.
