This place would get five stars if not for their service. The food was incredible. We ordered the fried spring rolls,(maybe the best thing I have ever eaten) I ordered a the #19 combination phở and it was brilliant, and my wife had the tofu noodle bowl. The food was hot and delivered incredibly quickly. However, trying to get your tea refilled seemed like I needed a written request and our waitress was an exceptionally unpleasant lady that seemed like we were annoying her. Despite the ominous feeling that our server was going to shank us at any given moment I would most assuredly visit this place again as the reward of the food far outweighs the risk of bodily harm from the waitress.

Phở is good the customer service sucks. I always order to go. Im a sucker for good phở. Springs rolls are also a favorite. If you eat in you have been warned expect crappy rude service.

Food is okay. Price is reasonable. But service is really crappy. Each time I visit I hope it gets better, but it doesn’t. I either experience a waitress who is PMS’n or a waiter who must have just arrived from Mexico because his vocabulary is stunted. Bottom line: if you want inexpensive food that is, eh, okay and will tolerate language barriers and rudeness, have at it.

This is my favorite restaurant on the entire planet. I come at least once a week and every single freakin time it is delicious. Everything on the menu is good. My personal favorite is the sesame chicken with a spring roll wonton soup and fried rice. Very reasonably priced too.

When we walked in, a lady came and dropped menus on the table right by the door without even looking at us or saying a word. We kindly asked if we could have a table in the back and she grabbed the menus and without a word started putting together two tables in the back. When we told her it wasn’t necessary(there were only four of us), she stormed off, irritated. I later found out this was the owner. Our server was very friendly. The Chinese food here is okay but not great. I have not tried the Vietnamese food but the phở seems to be popular. I probably wouldn’t come here again because of the bad service, and it’s not like I can’t find better food somewhere else.

Hit or miss when it comes to service. Had really great service at times, but then like today had awful service. It all depends on the waitress you get. Food is always good. You may want to order to go.

Service is always fast and efficient. Food is always consistently excellent.(I can only speak for the Vietnamese stuff, haven’t tried the Chinese food from here) I have never had something bad from here. I recommend the crispy spring rolls, combo, or beef stew phở, all to die for. The service might be a tad slow if they were busy but that is justified, other than that they are 5 stars. I rarely give these out.

Pretty good service and food is decent, not too bad of a place and location. Does not have boba tea and phở is ok

After being seated and over 5 minutes going by, no one even looked at us. No one spoke to us, and 2 people came in after us and were helped right away. Unacceptable. I’ve eaten here once before and there are much better places in the city.

Really no complaints here. We come for phở and it’s always good and priced fairly. Servers are attentive and the food comes quickly. Love their Vietnamese egg rolls and the Phở Gha(chicken). They give you plenty of sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, limes, and jalapeños for it. Utensils and sauces are already at your table, so you usually don’t have to ask for anything extra. Haven’t ever eaten the Chinese food here, so can’t comment on that.

Your basic Asian restaurant in San Antonio. Very salty, not much flavor, and okay service. Overall it isn’t the worst but it’s not the best. I prefer other Vietnamese places for sure. The egg roll was good though. I have had the cashew chicken and beef in garlic sauce. Both were very salty and there was not spice to it at all.

This is the first place I have ever tried Phở and it definitely set the bar very high for all other phở’s I have tried. Make sure to look at the hours because they close in the middle of the day during the week and reopen later on. I usually go on the weekends when they are open all day. I highly recommend trying the spring rolls also. They are delicious! As for the phở I usually get the chicken or the phở without meat. If I don’t get any meat I am usually able to finish all of my meal.

The Phở is amazing here. Best I’ve had in the city. I’ve ordered this several times & it’s always on point. We have also tried a few other items on the menu & have never been disappointed. Good food!

The phở is average and needs improvement on the meat freshness but the fresh and fried spring roll is excellent.

Medicore food, terrible service. That’s all there is to it really. There are far better places for Chinese/Vietnamese…whatever they’re trying to be. The egg drop was so full of corn starch my spoon almost stood on end. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce. The chickcen was chewy(old), and there were dry crunchy things in the plate that were impossible to chew — maybe old burnt rice… who knows? The egg roll was OK, likely frozen out of a bag. I don’t blame the wait staff, they seemed miserable. Looks like a management issue. I asked someone who looked like they may be a manager for a menu(she was dressed like she was going to six flags, not someone you’d take seriously), she didn’t even look at me and handed me one. The other manager looking guy standing around, dressed like they were at the mall, wasn’t really doing anything at all. Maybe the phở is good, as everyone says, but frankly I wouldn’t risk eating anywhere with such crappy management. Just think what their missing in the kitchen.

And continuing with the theme of wife’s birthday… Bohanan’s was just for us. We did the family thing at Taste of Asia. A family faviorite! Wife and I both had the Egg Foo Yung, along with an order of spring rolls. Service, food, and meal is ALWAYS wonderful! Food comes out quickly(EFY took a bit of time, as it always does) and we all enjoyed a great meal at wonderful pricing! Dad and mon in law loved this place, and Taste of Asia continues to shine!

Good place. I’m new to phở. Wasn’t a fave for me… but the spring rolls… omg…delish! Very fresh. I didn’t understand the sauces but our waiter was happy to show us how to mix and eat. It was an awesome dinner. Great service and very modestly priced. Good atmosphere as well.

I’ve been here a few times and keep coming back… There’s regulars from San Antonio that come here all the time of that’s how you rate stuff. Good Phở Noodles, good broth soups, noisy and not a bad price either! The kind of place you take your family to when you’re to busy having a good time and don’t want to go home just yet.
