Place used to be great, but every time I go there it progressively gets worse. Their turkey burger and appetizers are awesome. Was there last Friday, pretty busy so I expected for a little bit of a wait in terms of service and food. Ordered appetizers, which were delicious(hummus and deviled eggs) and for an entrée I got a pulled pork torta. After 34 mins(yeah I timed it) food finally came and the sandwich looked disgusting, it honestly looked like some slop meat found in the back room just thrown on some bread with guacamole smothered all over it. I did not want to eat it, but I was so hungry and knew if I got something else it’d be another 30 mins, I ate the pulled pork anyway. Ate about ½ of it and gave up, felt like ****. Meat tasted old and dry. Manager asked me how the food was, told him the truth he apologized and ended up taking the meal off my bill, which was nice. About 2 hours later I went home and had the poops so bad I swear I had mild toxicity poisoning from the food. It didn’t end there, was sweating my *** off all night, couldn’t digest anything, muscles ached, and nerve irritability. I’m 100% it was from the pulled pork. Just a horrible experience. Normally I’d say it was a one time thing, but like I said my experience has been trending downward with each visit.

Great food, service and entertainment on the weekend! Our server was very pleasant and on top of our drinks. The music was wonderful, especially their 80s music selection! Stonewerks is a great place to relax and enjoy the evening.

Friday and Saturday nights are my favorite time to visit. They always have entertainment on the patio(or inside if its too cold). Service can sometimes be a bit slow but the atmosphere keeps you sidetracked. The food is delicious. I am not a seafood fan(at all) but all the menu items that I have tried were well prepared and presented well. Hunter was our server on my last visit on 06/10/2016, Hunter has also been our server many times in the past. He is very pleasant and kind.

Delish on a Saturday night date night. Drinks are on the expensive side. But still taste great! Great experience to watch the Spurs play. Got the crusted tilapia! Did not disappoint! Was enough for three meals!

Just came in for dinner here! Our waiter Valente was sweet, attentive and very knowledgable of the menu items! We had the Kobe burgers & it was ahhhhmazing. We also decided to get a cheesecake slice to go since we were so full from the burgers. We’ll defiantly come back and will ask to have Valente as our waiter again!

This was only my 2nd time at Stonewerks, but how quickly I’d forgotten how big the portions are. The appetizer of chips and queso was enough to feed 4 – 5 people and then my grilled cheese with crispy shoestring fries is enough for 2 – 3 meals. So filling and so good.

Came for dinner on a weekday. It was pretty quiet so no wait. Tried the spinach and salsa appetizer along with a veggie burger. The food isn’t impressive, but pretty good for a chain restaurant. The appetizer is a great size and perfect for a group. We had a booth seat, which was cozy. Nothing fancy except that the spinach dip came with flat bread for dipping and the salsa had chips. The veggie burger was delicious and a good size. They included avocado and some bean sprouts so it added extra flavor different from other burgers. It tasted like a bean burger and was on whole wheat bread. The potato fries were on target, but not amazing. Just plain ketchup on the side. I’d come here again for a friend’s gathering, but definitely not a foodie experience. There’s outdoor dining as well.

First and foremost they allow smoking which is in violation of city code for San Antonio. The environment was disgusting and smoke was everywhere around the tables. When I asked the girls at the front for the manager, I was given major attitude from them and the manager himself. The manager mentioned they were visited by a health inspector a few months ago because of numerous complaints to the city health department, and apparently Stone Werks didn’t care to fix anything. There were multiple complaints by numerous people that left before we did this evening as well. They actually sell cigars here to smoke as well. I have filed a new complaint with the city health inspector, as should anyone that sees this. We will not be back. Ever. I suggest you do the same.

Great food. But they keep the dirty plates on the table for a very long time. It’s really disgusting but the food is great other than that the place is nice. Only tip I can leave is management please keep an eye on detail and fire the lazy people.

Great food, good service, perfect timing. We ordered oysters first, later fish tacos, and Italian pizza. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was fun, drinks were on point. Will definitely come again.

Very eh… Adult grilled cheese is nothing special. Poblano soup tastes like it could have come out of a can. Shoestring fries were standard sized … Not rushing to go back.

Two stars for a nice environment and good service but it was really overpriced for super bland food. My martini was good and they have a nice beer selection, no complaints on the bar service. If you have money to blow and no expectation for food quality, come on down to stone werks. Two words: Overpriced Applebee’s.

I’m a fan of Stone Werks. Their employee turnover is atrocious, but the food is good. When I come here, I usually get a flatbread, a salad, the stuffed salmon, or the lamb burger. Flatbreads are pretty good, I suggest sharing because they are definitely too large for me to eat by myself, but they are generous with toppings and I think the individual flavors really stick out with every option. The stuffed salmon is possibly the best stuffed salmon I’ve ever had, it’s very rich, but the lobster/crab is chunky and meaty; you’re not overwhelmed by the creaminess while it maintains the creamy texture. The light lemon oil brings out flavor in the fish without suppressing the basil and cheese notes. On the lam burger, damn, I don’t know where to start. It’s a nice slab of meat(what I look for in a burger), and the mint aioli is the perfect compliment. Usually I’m opposed to putting nice meats between bread, but this one really«werks.» The pepper and goat cheese also go nicely, sometimes I’ll scrape off some of the goat cheese because it can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t stop me from ordering this again and again. You can ask for bread and they’ll bring it for free. Drinks are overpriced, and service is pretty average. This place is like the upscale Chili’s, except that I hate Chili’s and I love Stone Werks. Rarely does a place that does everything actually DO everything well. The food here will be good. The prices are fair for what you get. I’m a fan, and I recommend you give it a shot.

We popped in yesterday afternoon hoping to catch the Broncos game(in Texas. yeah yeah). Unfortunately they don’t have NFL ticket so they don’t have all of the games playing. We enjoyed some brews and ordered the guac, queso, and salsa for a snack. Our server(Mike I believe) was very helpful and attentive. FYI you get a TON of guac with the order. I understand why it’s almost $ 10 because there’s so much. Really yummy though! We didn’t even get to try any entrees since all of the chips filled us up, so I can’t give it 5 stars… yet. Be back soon!

Stone Werks is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. They are a local chain with 3 locations all are good. They have a great patio and live music on Thursday Friday and Saturday night. I have to say our Stone Oak local has way better live music than the Lincoln Heights location. The happy hour is really good except I wish it went a bit longer. I really like the guacamole appetizer because they are not cheap about it. They have some local Texas craft brews. They also have good signature cocktails. Their menu is vey diverse as they have all kinds of thinks from pizza to seafood. The only reason it’s not all 5 stars as sometimes the waitstaff has too many tables. Also I would not say overpriced but I think there are places that are way better if your looking for a good value.

I must say, the bar tenders defiantly go out of their way to ensure you are satisfied. The food was outstanding for the price. We had a group of about 20 during our farewell of a fellow co-worker who was leaving us. They provided us 2 servers who did an excellent job attending to all of our needs. I will be going back again.

This place is only okay. We came here about a year ago and the food was great. We came back today and had some drinks, a chicken Club sandwhich, and Calamari. Drinks are tasty and the chicken Club sandwhich was tasty, BUT Unfortunately, the calamari consisted also of fried lemons and fried jalepenos. I’ve never seen this before, so as I bit into the appetizer, it was an unpleasant surprise. The manager stated it was just for show. …what? Half of my $ 12 appetizer is just for show? Don’t waste your money here paying for a $ 12 appetizer in which half the plate is worth only a half of the worth you’re actually paying for. Edit: The manager, John Campos, was quick to resolve the calamari concern. For that, I am grateful. Well done, John. Good customer service!
