Chipotle Mexican Grill

Love the steak tacos. They are affordable and you have a wide selection of ingredients to choose from. It’s like a Subway, but for Tacos. GENUIS!

Just passing through the area and really wanted Chipotle since the one in my area is garbage (Harker Heights). This place was great, food perfect, place is clean and employees pleasant! Great job guys!

Yuck. I ordered a steak bowl and the meat was such a low quality that I couldn’t chew through it. I had to remove most pieces from my mouth. Sounds gross, I know, but IT WAS gross. My husband’s chicken bowl was fine but that does not make up for my meal or the low quality steak that probably everybody who ordered the same dish endured this evening. After all the controversy, it took Chipotle to offer us free food to get us back in the store. I’ll probably never go back, which is too bad b/​c I actually liked their food. Not anymore.

The food hands down is the BOMB. My issue lies with the rude staff that acts like you are disturbing them when you order. The African American serving has the personality of my shoe and the super young Hispanic boy pressing the burritos could care less what he is doing.
Managers need to realize that employee attitude makes a huge difference in customer satisfaction.

I absolutely LOVE Chipotle… and on average I eat here 3 – 4 times a week! Unfortunately, the last 4 times have been VERY disappointing. I don’t know if the Ecoli outbreak caused them to change their lettuce processes/​vendors, but it now has an awful flavor and even a strange smell! Who knew lettuce could smell this weird?! I’ve been hoping it would go back to the way it was before (hence trying 4 times lately) but it just isn’t!!! I’m so sad! This may mean I’m done with my favorite fast food chain… for awhile at least :(:(:(

I wanted to start with I LOVE Chipotle!
After spending the past year and a half in the Middle East, Chipotle was the first on my list of places to eat. I choose this location due to it being closest to home, and in the route I take when visiting the city.
I have been to this location twice now, and both times I have been disappointed. The first time, they did not have pico due to the tomatoes were not up to their standards, okay fine. I will get over it. The second time, which was today, there were a few red flags. First, there were a mom and daughter a few people ahead of me, and they noticed a hair in the black beans that was on the line. Ew. Then, I am getting in my order, and asked for dressing for my salad, and I had to wait because they were making it. Once I sat down, about 2 minutes later it was brought out to me. Their pico was very mushy, not the normal Chipotle pico I was used to. Then, as I was eating my chips, I noticed a small black hair on one of my chips (possibly an eyelash).
Again, I love Chipotle, but I may be finding a new location to frequent.

I love chipotle, but this location always has something that leaves me disappointed. Either they give very small portions or I have had to wait for certain ingredients to finish cooking or the black beans aren’t completely cooked (it makes a difference!). There is always something…

Chipotle should be a known quantity by now — its ubiquitous enough to be the same experience no matter where you are. This location gave about half as much a portion of meat compared to other locations, and I caught attitude at the cash register for asking to purchase a drink. Seems that the cashier had already made up my mind for me, and gave me an eye roll when I completed my order in about the same time frame that I have at other locations.
I don’t expect fast casual workers to be peppy all the time, but I could have done without the thousand-​yard stare from each member on the burrito assembly line. It’s chipotle, guys, not Guantanamo bay. You guys hurt the brand.

Best chipotle in San Antonio in my opinion. The lobby is spacious and clean most of the time, friendly atmosphere, and good service.

The food is good. Service is good. Fast food-​ish. Not authentic Mexican food but it doesn’t claim to be.

None really, Chipotle is the equivalent of a Mexican Dairy Queen. It’s all good no matter where you eat.

Clean restrooms. As most chipotles now, they are greedy with rice and meat. Other than that food was great, area is really nice. I was just passing through.

Love this place. Consistently good. We always get the burrito bowls. I am a big fan of the carnitas. Love the corn salsa and pico.

Fresh, flavorful, and filling. Place is clean. Usually busy here. They offer a military discount (if you’re in uniform). Prices are a bit steep.

I ordered the steak burrito and the meat was cold and had a lot of tendon in it making it tough. The place was dirty and in my opinion you can find better burritos for less money.

I love it here. Fast, healthy, yummy carnitas. Nice friendly staff. Restaurant AND bathrooms are always clean. Lemon, Tobasco, guacamole… these are a few of my favorite things.

This place is awesome for healthy eating, take it from me… I went from 17.9% body fat to 11.5 in 4 months eating here daily. A little on the high side for sodium but not bad, especially comparing to eating at any other chain restaurant that’s for sure!
Stick to the brown rice, black beans and chicken for highest protein and good complex carbs from brown rice.
If your use to greasy Mexican fast food, you can forget about this place… this place is an example of good healthy Mexican inspired food and how it should be like, without sacrificing your health and weight.

I come here every other week for the salad bowl filled with rice, beans, grilled onions, beef, corn, and of course lettuce. Come starving and leave stuffed.

Warning… I used to work at Chipotle back in college, so I am a little biased.
This location is a great spot. The restaurant is always clean, the food line is usually clean, and the service is always prompt.
Knowing how the food is prepared and made fresh in the store also helps ease my mind eating at Chipotle.
My only complaint, and I honestly never saw this as a problem when I worked there… is the guacamole is next to the cheese. And the guac usually accidentally gets dropped into the cheese. And I’m super allergic to avocados.
So unfortunately I can no longer enjoy the yummy two cheese blend on my bowl when I dine at Chipotle. Brings a tear to my eye. :(

I am so not ashamed to say Chipotle Mexican Grill is my favorite fast food chain ever! The barbacoa burrito bowl and chips were my dinner last night. I had some chest pains this morning, but it was worth it. The flavors are fresh and vibrant. The staff is friendly. The thought of their food dials my saliva flow up. Their chicken and pork are not bad either. That is all.
