You’d think the name says it all, but it gets even better, with a great little bar in the front, and a good restaurant in the back with Karoake every night of the week(?) hosted by super friendly staff. It’s slightly off the main drag but still accessible via the Riverwalk as it’s connected to the mall.

Silly mediocre. only for suckers. Very touristy. Steak was OK! Apparently doesn’t hold a candle to most places.

Trapped in a mall while being very hungry and this is where you end up. It was our server’s first day and it showed. She didn’t even know what their specials were. This is the type of restaurant that Gordon Ramsey would use in Kitchen Nighmares. The food took forever and was a step above fast food. At least it was fairly cheap.

I’m a Texan. I knew better. I knew not to go into any tourist trap along the Riverwalk for dinner when in San Antonio. But I was with out-of-town coworkers who saw this place’s big sign, and they wanted to go. So, I dutifully followed. The time we arrived? 6:15. The time our food arrived? 8:42. The worst service imaginable. Drink refills, new beers… forget about it. Appetizers took as long to get as your entrée should have. The entrees came out at the time we should have been back at the hotel. The food was average, at best, which I could have told them. The worst part? There were five of us, and a gratuity was automatically added. Folks, if you’re visiting San Antonio, there are plenty of good places to eat. Don’t be afraid to leave the Riverwalk for some real honest-to-God Texas food.

I have a fondness for this place only because of my friends. This is their local karaōke place of choice(the other being Crabby Jack’s, but it doesn’t do karaōke 6x a week). Because my friends have patronized this place over the years, the bartenders tend to recognize us so the drinks are usually pretty strong and not very expensive. They’ve gone through a couple KJ’s(Karaōke DJ’s) over the years, and I was real sad to see Lisa go, but overall they are all pretty good and have a great music selection. I haven’t actually eaten in the restaurant, just been in the upstairs bar. Parking can be expensive since it’s in the mall downtown, and during convention season it can get REALLY crowded some nights, but overall it’s a small charming place. I just wish they’d change their name. :P

We stopped here with a big group of 11 people for a drink. Service was terrible, drinks were even worse. I was excited to get a margarita but what we got here was some strange cup of lemonade. I think they forgot the alcohol. We also had to search for someone to ask for the bill and we were 1 of 2 full tables in the entire place.
