Sonic Drive In

I have been here 3 times since they remodeled. 1^st time sweet tea ordered was un-​sweet delivered, 2^nd time onion rings were burnt 3^rd time vanilla bean shake ordered, carmel shake delivered. 3 strikes you’re out, will not return

Sonic is a great place for a quick stop for just about anything. My daughter and I stopped by there recently before going to our planned movie. She ordered fries, onion rings and a drink. I had the number one meal with «so good» fries. When I heard the crunch of her eating the onion rings, I really felt like asking for one. But I let her have all the rings. Let me tell you, that took real self control. Ha! We each had a delicious limeade. Mine was strawberry and hers was cherry. It’s always fun to eat the fruit at the bottom of the cup. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy fishing the cherry (complete with stem) and downing that last bit of goodness?! Depending on the size of the drink you’re either sad because it’s all done, or full and sad because it’s all done. No making some of us happy. :)

Slowest service ever at a Sonic! The workers in the drive thru hat no sense of urgency. The drinks were good as always though.

Never had a problem at this location, besides maybe long lines around dinner time causing really slow service. They did run out of hot dog buns once and sent an employee to HEB to buy some, and I was waiting the whole time. That was odd… Also, Sonic, WHY are your order boxes so loud and scary?! My poor baby woke up in a shock! Lol

Don’t get me wrong I love sonic but this location is always a disappointment. The fries are always soggy and bland, they are NEVER fresh, anything else is just alright. Id rather drive to another sonic if I wanted to actually wanted something other than a drink.

We recently moved to Floresville and visited the Sonic for dinner. The burgers were excellent but while we were sitting there eating a store employee began spraying bug spray all around the store’s inside door area. There was food sitting on the counter ready for delivery, wait staff going in and out, and the wind blowing in the open door way. Hello?! Bug spray mist landing on the food anyone! YUK! Very poor judgement and food standards.

This place is a dump. The food took longer than expected to come out. The burgers didn’t taste like they normally do. The onion rings were oily and tasted weird. This isn’t just my opinion but also the person I went with. I was really disappointed. I don’t have a Sonic near me and couldn’t wait to get a burger… but this is not how I remember it.

When I was in Texas last time, I made sure that we stopped at a Sonic! I’m from Minnesota, and in Minneapolis, we have Sonic commercials on TV, but not a Sonic! (until last last year that is… Finally)
I thought it was great. I got some chicken sandwhich, and it came on bread that tasted so great. For being fast-​food, this place is one of the bests. I wanted to come back for breakfast the morning we flew back to MN, but we never made it. Oh well. I cannot wait to come back this summer and try it again. The one we got in Minnesota does not compare!

I remember wanting Sonic so bad after watching their commercials on cable television in California. So now being in Texas and given the opportunity to go to one, I did it. I liked how we could order from each parking spot and how they bring out the food to you versus waiting in a line at a traditional drive-​thru. Their burger was average and the chili cheese tator tots I ordered was a little too greasy (even by my low standards) to really have been enjoyable. The strawberry limeade that I ordered was good with chunks of strawberries but I would of preferred it uncarbonated. I think this food would be really good after a night of drinking, but sober it’s like eating at any other fast food joint.

Driving around San Antonio, I was craving Sonic for lunch. I rolled into an open parking spot with menu board & speaker. In my ride, I ordered the #4 Chicken Sandwich Meal (with fries & Diet Coke) and a Peach Smoothie (made with nonfat yogurt & real peaches) for the road. Five minutes later, the food and drinks were brought out to my ride with a tray attached to my driver window and I paid for my order. Being from NH, I’m really likin’ this carhop service and some good fast food. The chicken sandwich and fries were very good. Time to hit the road! While cruising down IH 37 South, the Peach Smoothie was very refreshing with bits of peach in each creamy sip. Sooo good!!! I had a very enjoyable and relaxing drive to Corpus Christi on a lazy & hazy afternoon.
