I asked for a quesadilla and the waitress said they didn’t have quesadillas. I’m pretty sure if you have the ingredients to make tacos you can make quesadillas. So instead I ordered two chicken tacos. They gave me two beef tacos, and they were extremely wet and gross. Taco Bell was better.

The first two times I ate at this place I thought I’d found a great place to get good breakfast tacos at a very attractive price. After a few more visits I started to notice that the waitresses have a really odd attitude. Something not quite right here. I noticed that when you go up to the register after your meal they often add up the items incorrectly. In their favor, of course. The whole thing seems very rehearsed, like they do it as a regular practice. The last time I went with friends they ended up paying approximately $ 2 more than they should have. I called this to their attention but my friends just wanted to leave. «I really hate this place. I’d rather leave than go back in there,» one of them said. Recently(Dec 2015) the Rocky’s Taco House on Cupples Road was in the news, and not for serving good food. I heard that several of the staff were charged with dealing in stolen items. Do you suppose these are the same people who own both places?

I’ll keep this brief. Last time I ate here, the service was lousy. My waitress didn’t get me no chips and salsa and brought me carne guisada /cheese tacos when I told her I wanted plain carne guisada. I went up to the counter and made sure they didn’t charge me for the carne guisada& cheese. She didn’t even apologize for the error. Never again.

I’ve been to two locations of this chain and I’ve got to say I’m pretty disappointed. The food is mediocre, nothing to really rant or rave about. During the time I was at this location our waitress never checked on us, and then seemed to have disappeared off somewhere. Probably wont be eating at this chain again.

He loves this place. The waitresses usually dress like a laid off two dollar hooker. I really don’t need to see that my waitress has no panties while she is on shift. Yes, the barely below the cheeks night club dress with nasty the 80’s flashdance movie wants their shirt back is the Norm here. But the food is passable. But the murals on the walk are my fave part of this place.

Brisket tacos are awesome! Occasionally they get the order wrong. But it’s not a big deal. Good food for people who are drunk late nights.

This is the only location for this chain I’ve been to. I’ve been to numerous taco spots and local restaurants in SA, so I’m using an overall consensus with rating this place. The fact that it’s 24 hours is great and the prices can’t be beat. However, the food quality is average and the sanitary practices are … So late night if you still want a night cap, you’ll probably be better off going to Chacho’s or Taco Cabana. I do like that this place caters to the late night crowd. You can be loud and crazy and you’re fitting in rather than being asked to leave.

This was my first time here and I had tacos that were yummy with homeade tortillas. The special of the day was two enchiladas, rice, beans and two tortillas for $ 2.99 I ordered it for my two year old since it was cheeper than the kids meal and she ate it up. Then of course I ate the extra enchilada she couldn’t finish. It was pretty good. Also ate a gordita with fajita meat and avocado as recomended by the waitress and was very impressed.

Well this restaurant used to be awesome years back. They have gotten busier and the food has changed quite a bit. It used to have that authentic Mexican homeade flavor and now it seems to have the fast food Mexican taste. Lol don’t get me wrong, it’s still okay when you’re In a rush but don’t expect buelitas home cooking here.

Ive been coming here since my parents moved to the Highland Hills area. This place is cheap, a local neighborhood favorite, and they have yummy homemade flour tortillas. If on a budget I recommend the enchilada plate for 2.99 that comes w sweet tea or even one of the breakfast plates that they serve all day. A favorite of mine are the breakfast tacos — potato and egg and bean and cheese(in which they are VERY generous with the shredded cheddar cheese) all on homemade tortillas. Check out their specials during the week too — 3 tacos for 1.99 before 9am. The special is written on a green poster board next to the counter.

I went one day around noon. The tacos i had were really good and had a standard price. But the service was really slow. And make sure you don’t get short changed at the register.

Went here for a quick lunch. It was quick and cheap, but nothing special. The place was packed and busy, but they still managed to get my order out quickly. I ordered their carne asada lunch special which came with rice, refried beans, and tortillas. The tortillas were soft and warm.

Bravissimo! for a couple reasons:(1) Quick Service – and I mean under 7min for two lunchtime orders!(2) Friendly service – and the wait staff had the cojones to make actual recommendations!(3) Cheap!(under $ 5 specials). Added benefits: 24⁄7 hrs, close to freeway, and relaxing atmosphere. This place is like the«Cheers» of Mexican diners. I definitely suggest it to newcomers.
