Would you be embarrassed if the best pizza you’ve ever had came from a food truck? Because I’m not and it did. The embarrassing aspect is that I ordered it as a snack when we wound up at The Block AFTER dinner… and still managed to finish most of it. The dough was perfectly crispy while still keeping that nice chewiness that good doughs have. The cheese was PERFECT, pepperoni too, and there were little basil leaves placed on top that enhanced the wonderful flavors. The men running the truck were very friendly and helpful and look the part of knowing good pizza.

Primo Passo Pizzeria is a pizza food truck that is the full experience! Fantastic pizza dough, the freshest toppings and amazing, culinary recipies. The Realtors of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper(and especially The Ross Group) want to thank Primo Passo for serving your incredible pizzas to us at our office in Stone Oak. Huge thanks also to Monticello Homes for paying for it! AWESOME!!! This is The Ross Group’s favorite food truck and pizza in San Antonio.

Primo Passo Pizzeria’s food truck showed up behind my office during lunch, so I decided to give them a try given their great reviews. I agree with the others — their pizza is pretty great. I had a simple white pizza(just olive oil, mozzarella and roasted garlic) — delish. The crust was soft yet had a crunch — the perfect combo. Love those bubbles in the crust that get all toasty in the oven! Also had a side Greek salad — nothing extraordinary but fresh ingredients. I’ll certainly get pizza from them if they’re here again.

I sampled the Margherita pizza(mozzarellla, tomato and basil) and found it to be pretty delicious. The crust was crispy and the flavors were very good. The staff were really friendly and I definitely plan to try them again! If you’re looking for good pizza with quality ingredients this is your food truck!

Defiantly a fan of Primo Passo Pizzeria! I ordered a half of pizza for my little one while at The Block catching some dinner this past weekend. After setting eyes on the finish product I immediately regretted not ordering a full. After some really hard persuading with a seven year old to share and her not budging I ended up ordering another half. Totally worth it! Super fresh toppings made the pizza so delicious! The crust is the so rare best of both worlds crunchy and chewy goodness. The yummy mozzarella and garden-fresh basil made me swoon! Plus the service was fantastic; super-fast and the pizza came out steamy hot.

Hello Primo! The food truck came to my complex so I decided to give it a shot. As I walked over to it I pretty much convinced myself that any food truck making pizzas is going to charge some ridiculous amount for a pizza that’s much smaller than what it’s worth, in which case I would have haughtily(is that a word? It is now) turned up my nose at everyone in the truck, judged them all then defiantly walked away. As I approached and saw the menu, it is clearly displayed at the top that all pizzas are 12 bucks. Oh. Okay. That’s pretty reasonable. The menu had 5 pizzas to choose from(I think it was five). They all looked good. Hmm… the guy greeted me with a smile and a hearty hello… and they had a flat screen on the side of the truck with the game on. Looks like no judging will be needed tonight. So already this truck has exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Dominot which took about 10 minutes to cook. Took it back home and opened it up. You ever see those commercials where they advertise a burger that’s all plump and juicy looking? Or a slice o pizza that when they pull it apart from the rest of the pizza the cheese stretches for miles? This was totally that pizza! The cheese… oh sweet Jesus the cheese… thinking about it is making my mouth water. This is not your regular cheese people. This cheese right here… this cheese right here! If my mom was here I might have slapped her. The cheese was clearly at the top of its game. The pepperonis were not the little dime sized ones you find on frozen pizza. If you took a bite and got a whole one in your mouth, that’s all that’s gonna fit in there. The basil… I am a big fan of basil on pizza. I wish there was more of it, but it was good regardless. This was a hell of a pizza, I gotta go finish the rest of it.

Awesome artisan pizzas. Fresh ingredients with a good variety. Stromboli is fantastic as well as the Lamb Sausage(which I believe was a limited offering). Support our food trucks; exceptional cuisine from this one!

WOW! Just wow. What more can you say about the pizza here? From the fresh toppings and sauce to the dough. It is all amazing. I have 2 personal favorites here. GOAT: COACHFARMSGOATCHEESE, SWEETGARLIC, SCALLION, APPLEWOODSMOKEDBACON, ARUGULA and DOMINOT: SANMARZANOTOMATOSAUCE, MOZZARELLA, PEPPERONI, FRESHBASIL. You cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas though. they also offer a create your own if you can’t(for some reason) find a specialty that suits your fancy. The pizzas are 12″ and generally sufficient for 2 people, unless you are REALLY hungry. They are $ 12.00 and worth every penny. On top of the pizza they also have salads and gelato avail. If you are out for a date night make sure you check in on the Unilocal app and get your free gelato with purchase of the Dinner For Two. Large Salad, Any Pizza and 2 Drinks. Can you think of a better way to top off this meal than with gelato? Yeah me neither. Generally you will find them at Boardwalk on Bulverde and occasionally out at The Point Park. Follow the on Twitter to keep tabs on their travels @PrimoPassoPizza.

Primo Passo is an excellent addition to the Boardwalk, not sure if they are going to to continue to be there on the weekends but I really hope that they are. We went to visit the Boardwalk tonight and I knew that the truck was opening and I HAD to try it. I walked up and was greeted immediately, I looked over the options they had(there were plenty plus you could always order it with your own toppings) and chose the dominot pizza, which is a cheese pizza w/pepperoni and bay leaves. OMG! So good, I had no idea what I was in for. The 12″ regular pizzas were $ 10, plus I believe the create your own were $ 12 or something. Seriously, a bargain and totally, totally worth it. My pizza took about 10 minutes and was piping hot when we received it. It was fantastic pizza, definitely way better than anything you’d order from a fast-food pizza chain. The ingredients tasted so fresh, the tomato sauce and cheese were not over powering and the crust was just delicious. It was perfectly made and cooked to perfection. After I experienced our first round of pizza, we decided to take one home with us so we could eat lunch tomorrow and enjoy the pizza again, we couldn’t wait until next week. The 12″ pizza could easily serve two people, or maybe one depending on your appetite. It’s 100% worth it and the service was fantastic. I’m so glad to have a pizzeria food truck at the BoB, hoping they are here to stay!!! Check it out :)
