Met Petra at a Gold’s Gym about a year and a half ago. She is such a sweet lady! Tried out her place to get my wedding hair done and Amanda did amazing. Went in the morning. My hair held all day. I’ve had my hair cut twice there. Once with Priscilla and once with Alicia. You really can’t go wrong. Every time I leave her salon I am a satisfied customer. It is really nice inside and you really feel like you’re getting 5 star treatment. It is little on the pricier side but definitely worth it. You get what you pay for.

I get my massages here by Carolina Gaines. She is good and I always go away feeling relaxed and cared for. I have had a lot of back problems from a motorcycle accident and she always fixes me up when I push myself too hard. Carolina is sometimes hard to nail down for an appointment but that’s because she is so good at what she does.

I went in Monday to have my hair colored like I always do. I was shocked when I checked out to discover that my had to charged me an extra $ 40 because she had to use more color. She never said anything while she was doing my hair. I wouldn’t have gotten it done if I knew it was going to be more. I complained about it and Petra called me and basically defended the stylist saying that if we have been there before we should know the prices. I know the price of the normal color but it shouldn’t be my responsibility to know that I was going to be charged more. I’m never going back again based on this experience!!!

What a SCAM!!! IFYOUBUYANYTHING they will not return it. They only give you credit. Time to call the BBB. Also, when you get a haircut and highlights you expect to spend 150+. My color was 165.00 not bad. However, when they charged me an additional 65.00 just to blowdry my hair. I have never heard of this. You’ve got to be fu… kidding me!!! 65 just for a blowdry? With my color, cut & blowdry and 2 cute shirts & shampoo & conditioner the bill was 400+.

After a bad hair cut at another salon(don’t go to visible changes at la Cantera!), I came here and the staff was so friendly and understanding. They quickly got me in and had someone correct my hair cut. Very professional and skilled hair stylists! Plan to become a regular here for my hair cuts.

Danielle did an awesome haircut for me when I walked in waiting for my car to be washed. It was quick and she really listened to what I wanted. Reasonable prices and flexible hours make this a great option.

I originally posted a great review on 3÷26÷2012 because I will say Place seemed really nice, cute boutique and friendly staff. Alysha did my coloring and was really a nice young lady. However after I got home the first thing that my boyfriend and his brother asked me was did you get your hair colored? I said yes to which they both replied it looks the same! Basically it pr3etty much did look about the same! A few slight changes but NOTATALLWHAT I WANTED or ASKEDFOR. :(I went in with a redish brown and a few highlights and asked for a dark burgundy base color with CHUNKY caramel highlights. I left with a redish brown with thin blondish highlights. I asked specifically for BURGUNDY with THICKCARAMELHIGHLIGHTS! Here it is about 5 weeks later and I am the more I think about it very ticked off!!! I was so sick of looking at haircolor I PAIDTOHAVEDONE&DIDN’T GETWHATWANTED or ASKEDFOR that I ended up going to the store to buy haircolor and colored myself! At least now it is actually BURGUNDY! A friend recommended another person/place to me and he is supposed to be soooo good that I booked an appointment with him the week after my(FOULEDUPHAIRCOLORHERE) and my appointment is for June 8th. YES thats how booked he is. I can’t wait! I had had so many BAD experiences with hair salons previous to this one that I prayed it would have gone better, yet! I did not write this non satisfied review any soon because if I had, it would not have been so nice and since have heard several people say about the same of this place, NOTHAPPY

I love this place! Went and got a shellac manicure and when I got home I realized that it wasn’t done very well. I called and they set me up with Carolina, who gave me the best manicure ever, I love her. Went back for a second one yesterday. This salon is beautiful in there and everyone is friendly. They also have a boutique with cute tops, jeans, jackets, make up and jewerly. I am getting a facial with Angela tomorrow for the first time. :)

Angela is my Facialist. She is perfection! The customer service is obviously a high priority. I’ve been a regular client at Petra’s since they day they opened their doors and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Petra’s is a salon and boutique in one of the new shopping center located off of 1604 before you hit Stone Oak. Half haircuts and colors and half plaid and blazers, Petra’s offers a boutique area in the front and a full-size salon in back. I went in for the boutique, which was advertised with well-dressed mannequins in the windows. The boutique had plenty of cute jackets and blazers, along with a good amount of jeans and jewelry. For being attached to a salon, they actually have quite a large selection of clothing. Prices range from around $ 20 for a t-shirt to around $ 90 for sweaters and jackets. The girl helping at the front desk asked if I had ever been there before. When I said no, she gave me a brochure with the salon services on it, which includes cuts, colors, facials, nails, make-up, massages and hair removal. A basic cut looks like it would run you about $ 30, with facials in the $ 70s and nails around $ 30. The salon looked nice, modern but still welcoming. Overall, Petra’s is a neat store. They have really cute, unique clothing and can even offer you a trim after you shop. Two stops in one!
