4 out of 5 stars on accessibility simply cuz I haven’t seen the handicap accessible rooms yet. Parking is accessible even for wheelchair vans with ramps. Motel 6 has finally taken an very realistic plunge on how a decent affordable motel should look and cost. I was very please to see that my room looked just like it did on their ad’s. They ripped out that nasty carpet, took out extras and have a basic, clean room. This is a motel not a hotel. I need a clean room, bed, toilet, air/heat, TV and shower. And they delivered. Close to a grocery store, restaurants and down the street from the Medical Center area. I needed a blow dryer and they had one in the front office with a temporary exchange with an ID. 2 weekday night stay 90 bucks… hell, can’t beat that.

Handicapped first floor two bed. My old lady had just received surgery so that came in handy. Clean. AC worked great and commodities were up to standard. Decent price 55 $ after veteran discount. Down side. It was only room available handicapped but it was smoking. So smelled a bit like smoke

The staff is not friendly at all. The room(especially the bathroom) was not clean. The air conditioner is filthy and doesn’t work right. The mattress has broken coils. The parking is a nightmare for handicap people. I would think if you rent a handicap room the parking would be in front of the room instead of halfway down the hotel. The shower runs off into the rest of bathroom. The floor needed to be sloped to allow drainage. Will not be staying there again.

So disgusting. We lifted up the bed spread – and found tons of hair, dirt, and specks of IDK what! I called the front office with my cell; and no answer. Then I called with the phone provided– and they picked up… But when I requested new fitted sheets, they hung up! I called and called and no answer. Worst hotel. Dirty. I didn’t think bed sheets could feel so sweaty– but they do. Disgusted!

Decent priced and clean. Nothing special but that’s how it is a Motel 6. if you are looking for a roof over your head stay here. A plus is there are plenty of places to eat near by.

On March 31, 2009, around 10pm, I checked in Motel 6. The lady on the front desk was so nice. The bathroom is so weird.

I wanted to stay at a hotel near the airport, as it would be closer to destinations that I wanted to take my partner and as well as see some relatives. However, these hotels wanted over $ 100 for a night. I dunno what I was thinking. I mean, for 1 night at a suite/hotel near the airport for $ 109 isn’t bad.(Plus, additional taxes.) If we had stayed there a week, then that would be a different story. So, I opted for a hotel in the northwestern part of San Antonio. This particular Motel 6 was alright. Nothing bad but nothing fancy. The staff were friendly. Our room was really plain. Nothing to make you gasp in awe. There was a spot on the wall that you could tell that someone had punched in a hole. It was covered up with some metal sheet and painted over. I shelled out $ 95 here. So, again, what was I thinking? We definitely should’ve stayed at a hotel near the airport and splurge a Benjamin.
