Really disappointed! Took my son here for dinner. We were excited as it was our first time trying this place and we were craving Italian. The restaurant was fairly empty, just a few tables with families. Avocado Salad: I paid $ 6 for lettuce and avocado. I had NO onions, ONE wedge of tomato, and ONESLIVER of artichokes. Fettucine Alfredo: Watery, weird flavor. Bleh! Didn’t even finish half of it. Gnocchi: Good but small portion and not impressed for the stiff $ 14 we were charged. What also lacked was service and etiquette. Under no circumstances do I find it appropriate for what appeared to be a manager stuffing his face where the food was being prepared. We literally watched him shovel food in his mouth and drink inbetween cutting pizzas. He had to be reminded by other staff to check us out. I would have brought up the concerns over my salad but he was too busy feeding himself. At least do that crap where patrons can’t see or at the very least don’t eat over food that is not yours! One star for fast delivery on food to table. But I would have rather have had them put a little more effort in the food and service! Won’t be coming back to this location.

You cannot beat the food, atmosphere or hospitality at Luciano’s. The pizza and chicken Alfredo is as good as it gets. I will definitely be back!

I ordered Chicken Parm to go. Best I’ve had in I can’t recall how long. Excellent food.

I don’t think I have ever given a 5 star but holy cow. First off they are perfect italian style pizza, they do have some with all the toppings for us Americans but their traditional cheese slice was the bomb. They use REAL mozzarella cheese, which I prefer so the cheese is a little denser but that’s how real italian pizza should be. They have some great sides and yummy looking salads. But the«piece de resistance» is their marinara sauce. Now I am a complete marinara snob since my Sicilian grandmother made amazing sauce but oh my gosh, they use the right tomatoes, perfect spices and it’s all made in house. It’s not overly tomato tasting like most marinara sauces are, it’s absolutely perfect. I have never had marinara that good. I will most definitely be back.

We had Pollo parmigiana and a cheese pizza. Both were really delicious and the service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back soon!

Ok. Had a lunch. Salad was ice cold with what tasted very much like a commercial Italian salad dressing, very sweet and cloying. Next had eggplant parmigiana. Very odd texture, bland and fluffy. Not anything like eggplant parmigiana. More like eggplant soufflé. A little penne with tomatoes sauce on the side. Thin, sweet sauce. It was also too expensive for neighborhood lunch. The guy taking orders was pushy with the daily special. The guy in the back also. I think this is a good place for the area… lots of medical offices roc., but would not go out of my way. Maybe just a slice of pizza next time.

I’ve eaten at a couple different Luciano Neighborhood restaurants and the one on Stone Oak is my favorite. I usually order food to go, but the service always great and the food is outstanding. I’m a little basic, ordering spaghetti with half meat/half marinara. My husband loves the Fettuccine Alfredo with pink sauce(Alfredo & marinara mixed). I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Service was very, very slow. When we finally received our food(after waiting a very long time) two of us had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. So half of us were done when the other’s were receiving theirs. I thought the food was average at best. Others in the group thought it was good. I won’t be back.

So much love for Luciano’s! The food here is marvelous, the closest thing to Italy I’ve had in Texas! My main complaint is that it is often under staffed, as I have come here a few times to see a single server hustling about nine tables. This is way too much, no server should ever handle more than five tables at a time and even that is too many to give good service. Nevertheless, the food is marvelous every time! Luciano’s does a great takeout business, by far the best pizza in Stone Oak. Pasta is I much better than anything you’ll get at another restaurant in the area, and unlike many places they know how to do aldente properly! Cannelloni are addicting, so consider yourself warned. The antipasto salad is also wonderful, just ham, salami, and provolone tossed with romaine, bell peppers, and olives. Really can’t go wrong.

As one reviewer wrote, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Tucked in a strip mall across from Sonterra, this restaurant wouldn’t be my first choice for pizza or Italian food for that matter. But it was the choice of a family member, so off I went. We we greeted immediately as we walked in and seated at a table big enough for our party of eight. A bruschetta style plate of bread topped with tomatoes was brought to the table while drink orders were taken. Since we were there for pizza, we just had to figure out which two for all of us. We decided on the supreme and the Naples. We also ordered two family style salads and a bottle of Chianti for the drinkers. The salads were served in two large bowls to be passed around the table. We had three different dressings served on the side. The salad was nothing to write home about, but they weren’t lacking in different greens, carrots and tomatoes. We’ll try the Greek style next time. The NY style pizzas were really f n good. House made and pulled dough was topped with sauce almost to the edge, covered with all of the toppings listed on the menu. Both pizzas were worth the trip to Stone Oak. But the Tutta Napoli pie was spectacular. It had Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, basil, olive oil, yellow peppers and half cloves of sautéed garlic. All of this was served on a traditional red sauce. It is a brilliant combination not to be missed. The owner stopped by the table several times to check on us and chat a bit. The wait staff never left a glass unfilled, and promptly took used plates from the table. If you know Luciano’s from the mall, then you know this family. But don’t let the«Luciano’s from the mall» taint your idea of the pizza made here. Since we didn’t eat anything other than pizza and salad, I can’t speak for the other items on the menu. But I can tell you I’d drive from Highland Park to Stone Oak for this pizza, especially the Tutta Napoli. If I come here alone, I’ll give the veal marsala or piccata a try. I’m pretty sure if they put the same attention to detail in their marsala or piccata as they do in their pizza, I won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended for pizza and service.

We wanted to try some local Italian food being from Boston and was very pleased with all the food. They don’t fill the Cannoli until you order one.

I work at the hospital down the street and on especially busy nights I know I can depend on a delicious dinner for my family if I call ahead to order one of these guys’ pies! They’re humongous and taste gourmet even when they’re lukewarm by the time I get home. I usually get a supreme style pizza and they’ll even throw in a tea if I have to wait a bit for it to be finished off. Way to go To-go!

Nicest welcome after a long days work. Even though I came in like i was working at a car shop. The people gave me the same respect as the next guy. Tried the pizza meatballs and a salad. Loved all of them def my new favorite spot !

I’ve come here about twice now for lunches when I’m working at our satellite offices. Every time, they knock it out of the park. The food has been great every time. Granted, I’ve ordered the exact same thing every time. When you get here for lunch, there’s a chalkboard menu up front at the start of the line that gives you options for lunch specials. $ 7.99 + tax gives you a huge slice of pizza and a generous portion of salad! They have different kinds, pasta salad, caprese salad, and my favorite… avocado salad! It comes with this avocado cream sauce. Let’s be honest… it’s probably not the most healthiest thing you can order for yourself but again… it is delicious! The pizzas are thick and not the traditional New York style… which I prefer. However, what they lack in authenticity, they more than make up for in quality and quantity! They’re huge and chock full of toppings. I always order the mushroom and spinach. They even put a layer of spinach in between the bottom crust and the top. In other words, there’s a layer of spinach in between the two layers for the crust! The crust is hearty and chewy… just like I like it. The guys are also very hilarious with their gregarious-ness and accents. And for $ 7.99?! It can’t be beat! Remember to check in on Unilocal and you get a free cannoli!

Full disclosure… I didn’t want to dine here as my wife tricked me! Why? When I pulled up I thought it was a pizza place. I wanted Italian, not pizza. After just polishing off my leftovers for breakfast, I now am thrilled we ate here! It was our first time dining here as we are somewhat new to the area. We were greeted immediately and seated. It was fairly early on a Friday so the place wasn’t full just yet. By the time we left, every table was taken! We started with some yummy bread with tomato. It was great! Transitioned to the fried calamari. It was OK. Typical I guess. I had rigatoni with sausage which was delicious! Very unexpected in this«pizza parlor!» My wife had eggplant parm which she enjoyed. Bottom line is you can’t judge this book by its cover. It is much more than pizza. The service, food, and value all exceeded expectations.
