Terrible customer service. Not friendly at all. Not one worker smiled. If you don’t like kids why do you work here! Most games our tokens got stuck in and had to get the very unfriendly workers to help us. Really disappointed.

Ducks jammed in corner for God knows how longneck on duck game, bunny water game needs more water to be useable, don’t think that’s a hard concept to take care of on a slow Tuesday. Both picture games had no paper for pictures, thanks for that. The mouse was announced and never came as my 2 and 4 year old stood there excited to see him, you know, the entire point of this place. I wouldn’t exactly say this is my favorite location I’ve ever been too. I waned to hand the employees all Red Bulls so they didn’t look like they were bored out of their skulls, smiles are contagious, get one, you’re working with CHILDREN people. Thanks for disappointing my kids

I’ve been to a few birthday parties here before and recently just had my son’s party here as well. Everything went smoothly and as expected. I booked everything online and the manager called me twice to confirm my numbers prior to the date. The party started on time and everything was in order. The kids just wanted to play and that’s the best time to get everything situated on what kind of pizza you like and how you want the cake served and your gifts bagged. I love how the staff does everything. You don’t have to think much. We were able to get 2 cheese pizzas and 2 pepperoni pizzas but they ended making 4 pepperoni pizzas instead and some of the parents had their kids on a vegetarian diet so they had to rush order the cheese pizzas for them. But other than that, everything else was fine. I get didn’t think about that for a 7yo birthday party so next time only cheese pizzas to play it safe. Just FYI. Also bring your swimming googles if your going to go into that ticket blower box cause the ones they provide blow the tickets into the goggles and then you can’t see. L O L

Let’s be honest, places like this can be a parent’s worst nightmare, but in the world of loud, obnoxious places kids love to go, at least this location is clean and the layout makes it easy to keep track of your kids. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and we’ve never run into a problem here.

Boneless wing were a bit commercial tasting .but better the a mc nugget. but there were celery sticks with it. very nice touch. The place is set up great .they droped alot of the creepy 80s animatronics .now only one. chucky …which was cool. because the live chucky came out 3 times while we were there… the booths were big and comfy. and the gamess are set up really well… by far the best Chuck E Cheese ive ever been to. very nice job guys. We love the cheap games for the kids. Salad bar is fresh, with plenty of choices. Pizza is over priced, but very tasty in my opinion. Staff were very energetic and helpful but… The moment I walked in, it smelled like rotten cheese. Some of the games were not working, the few adult style games are nice to have, but I hoped there would be a pinball game in there at least. The kids would have given the place 5 stars, they were happy to run and play, the coins were flowing, and they got cake at the party.

Ugh… looking at prior reviews it makes me wonder what the other Chuck E Cheese’s are like… I must start of by saying that I understand that I am not their target audience. I also want to note that the staff WAS very friendly to us and the kids which another Unilocaler noted but PLEASE do something about the pizza! It is totally awful! Hardly any sauce and and just terrible all around. The games were just OK. Several were broken and the skee ball machines need some maintenance. Most were missing a good portion of the balls and they have all seen better days. I have to look around and ask, why is this place so expensive? For 1 pizza, 4 drinks and 100 tokens with a coupon, it’s almost $ 50! This place must be raking in the money which leads me to believe that they can afford to replace a few games and give us more than a teaspoon of sauce on the pizza. I’ve always thought of Peter Piper Pizza as the cheaper version of Chuck E Cheese but they have a lot better games, more of them, more space and better pizza. I really don’t think I will be coming back here.

My kid loves; thus, I love. Employees: They were all super nice. They served us out of date, sour milk. They immediately tried to make it right… only to find that all of their milk was out of date! Oy! They immediately let the kiddo pick between more tokens or a ChuckECheese reusable cup. We are now the proud owners of a ChuckECheese cup in BLUE! Kiddo is thrilled! Food: I love the fact that they have a salad bar and the vegetable platters. My kiddo likes the pizza okay, but, more times than not, she eats the broccoli and carrots off the platter… and that’s just fine with me! Games/Activities: I was surprised how many were out of order when we arrived — to their credit, most were fixed by the time we left. Overall: Recommend.

I’ve been to my fair share of chuck e cheeses. perks of motherhood and right of passage if you survive a birthday party here. This place has a big space, so all the games and play area aren’t smashed together which is what I like. Again its on the richy side of town so about 25 minutes from the sea world area depending on traffic. I liked how clean this place was, friendly workers they didn’t seem like they were ready to commit suicide on the«Wheel of fortune» game, there was a manager that regularly patrolled the area, and hardly anything was broken. Getting prizes was a breeze and not much of a wait for our pizza and drinks either. If Chuck E cheese needed a model on how to run their business THIS is the model to follow. The 2nd great chuck e cheeses in the area is 1604& Bandera. The worst is 410& Ingram: size is small, gets packed alot, and you can tell the difference between the clientele and workers there. I go there still because its closer but I try to stay away from the ghetto chucky as much as possible. I’m willing to put down the gas money for the safer looking, cleaner one for my kiddos.

I’m not sure what it is about rodents being so charming to children, but Mr. Cheese sure has his hooks in my child. I am not a person who likes to hang out in a place that has dozens of screaming kids whose parents don’t bother to supervise them once they are inside. I still shake my head when I see kids running around. Sometimes the scene looks like news footage from the Rodney King riots. With that said, you are probably wondering why I gave this place 4 stars. Well, I have a system and I am going to share it with people who enjoy Chuck E. Cheese about as much as they enjoy getting a root canal. Okay, here is my secret. Go early! Did you know Chuck E. Cheese opens at 9am? Yes, you heard right. 9 to the A to the M! So what I do is wake up, get some breakfast from any number of awesome places you can read from my reviews, and then hit the rat’s nest early. Nobody is there and your kid has the run of the joint. They feel like a movie star renting out a place to keep out the paparazzi. The other great thing about Chuck is that he isn’t greedy like his cousin, Mickey. He still charges just one token for every game. How can you beat that? Anyway, I get in early and get out before the rug-rats start convening. As for the food there? Well, the salad bar will do in a pinch and the pizza is on par with the average bowling alley. You definitely don’t come here for the food.

Here’s the thing, Mr. Cheese, if I were writing this review based on the level of fun I personally have at your establishment, it would likely be negative stars. Don’t take that the wrong way, but screaming children, high prices, and lousy pizza do not a great evening for an adult make. However, Chuck(may I call you Chuck?) you’ll notice I am giving you 4-big olé fat stars and the reason is my nieces adore you. I mean, really. They’re infatuated. I recently had the pleasure of spending a Wednesday night with my goddaughter. She was post-ballet class, all dolled up in her pink leotard and little tiny bun, and I let her choose our spot for dinner. Without needing any time to think, she suggested«Chuck E. Cheese because it’s the funnest place, right Aunt KT?!» Ummm, right, kiddo. The funnest. So, we enter, CEC has a number of safety measures in place to ensure your child leaves with you and no one else, we get the stamps and whatnot and order our food. I spent $ 21 and got an orange soda, a mini-pizza, and a cup full of tokens. I had barely placed the first coin in my goddaughter’s hand before she was running wild through the restaurant, tutu flying, on a mission to win tickets. She chowed down on her frozen pizza, split the orange soda with me, rode a mechanical horse, climbed through a jungle, went bowling, was a rockstar, had her picture taken, and won 81 tickets(mostly bc she lucked out on some jackpot ticket game and got 60 all at once). Three hours later, she was happy as a clam, I was slightly frazzled from the sound of screams ringing in my ears, and we took off to the prize counter to cash in those tickets. Major downside to CEC is the prizes are all dollar-store picks at best, but cost 100’s of tickets to «win». Since I spent $ 10 on the coins it took to win 81 tickets BECAUSE I DIDN’T CHEAT — perhaps I should have in retrospect — the only prizes available to my ballerina princess were pencils and a plastic ring. She was a bit let-down but thankfully at the last minute, Chuck E. Cheese himself, the one and only, sauntered out of the back room and gave her a big fat hug. I snapped a pic, handed her the pencil, and off we went to my house to paint fairies and rainbows. And as we were walking to the car, she looked up at me with her big, blue eyes and said, «Aunt KT, I love you. That was the best night ever. I bet my Nannie is sad she missed it.» I didn’t tell her that no adult is sad to miss a trip here, I just hugged her and accepted my prize as granting my girl the best night ever. Then she fell asleep in the car on the ride home. 4-stars to you, Mr. Cheese. Thanks for giving kids a happy time and parents(or aunts) a quiet evening when they pass out from running and screaming for 3 hours.

I like Chuck E. Cheese’s, but my kids love it. They always seem to have the most fun here; when it comes to pizza and games. I like Chuck E. Cheese cause its not too bad on the wallet, and you get a lot of fun for your buck via email/internet specials. On our last visit we to got a large pizza, 2 drinks and 135 tokens all for $ 32.(Via Internet Coupons) Now thats Cheap and Cool for parents that is. I think we spent at least 3 hours, and still had tokens left. I recommend signing up for their monthly email specials, and free tokens on your kid’s birthday. The only gripe I have about Chuck E. Cheese is that the pizza is not very good, and the salad bar is too expensive. But, we all know we don’t come here for the pizza, and salad bar. We come to Chuck E. Cheese’s because our kids, kid siblings, nephews or nieces bug us constantly about this place till we bring them«When are we Going to Chuck E. Cheese’s???When are we Going to Chuck E. Cheese’s???When are we Going to Chuck E. Cheese’s???» But, don’t lie you know you like to play the games too. I love to play Deal or no Deal. I almost won 80 tickets, but I had the 2 ticket case :(So based on the fun factor, and the price I give Chuck E. Cheese’s 4 stars. I will win the 80 tickets on Deal or No Deal.
