Good breakfast place. Café style dining with no frills. Service is good and servers are friendly. Can be a bit noisy as it gets crowded on weekend mornings so need to go early.

The food good. Our service is always good at Jim’s. This place has a café style menu.

Jims is great for variery. Service is always good. Very dependable. Not 5 star but a great place to eat.

This isn’t the closest Jim’s to my house but we stopped here for a late night dinner this past weekend. I ordered the half BLT sandwich and cup of tortilla soup combo (it also comes with french fries), and my boyfriend had the Frontier Burger with fries. The food was good and tasted the same as the Potranco location, which is our usual Jim’s. I wish that I had caught our server’s name because he was very prompt and friendly. He also gave us menu recommendations and brought us condiments without us having to ask for them. Overall, a-​okay experience.

Just gives me a weird feeling in here. Like a lubys mixed with an old Dennys. The stone walls inside are dirty, floors needed a vacuum, menus felt greasy. They sat us in the back, pointing to a table across the room and letting us navigate there ourselves. We sat near the emergency exit that had highchairs stacked up around it. Probably not the safest place for them.
Food was sub par. I’m not trying to be a jerk, I’m easily impressed, but I was not satisfied here. Cold undercooked food didn’t hit the mark.
Try somewhere else, I won’t return.

My family loves jims… Great comfort food, great prices, kids eat free on certain nights… The service is always great… Very friendly here… Can’t beat it.

We are usually here after a late night game, we love this place, the burgers are always amazing and if we want something ligter I go for the fish, love the fact they are ²⁴⁄₇

Yep, it’s a coffee shop, friends. But it’s loaded with hearty comfort food. Breakfast is served any time. Fabulous sides like mashed potatoes, mac&cheese, fried okra, coleslaw, and a selection of steamed veggies make a nice addition to any meal. The chicken fried steak had the right amount of coating that adhered nicely to the meat. The cream gravy is as it should be, served piping hot, flavorful, and the perfect consistency. Their desserts are delicious and priced fairly. The Apple pie served hot with cinnamon icecream is my fave. The texture of the apple us just right, well-​balanced spice, and a flaky crust. My first hot fudge sundae when I was young came from Jims. Delicious. Nothing fancy, just really good most the time.

I guess it depends on ur waiter… Last time I came it was pretty dead, and I guess no one wanted to take a table? The young girl that ended up being our waiter was awesome and very attentive I don’t think she was normally a server? Anyway It was just me and my son w/​a 20 $ tab and I left her 10 $ I really hope she got it b/​c I paid by credit card :/​in my more recent experience my waiter sucked balls she never filled our teas, we put them at the very edge of the table too! how hard is it, I could see the tea, i wanted to pour it myself! Sometimes I just want to take my glass and put it in the middle of the walkway, then maybe my server will see it… Food is good, four stars for food, price and 1^st server:)

Is good. Texas two step is a great value. The fruit is always fresh here. Love it. Also if your not too hungry you can just get a breakfast taco or two.

Great food and although the service can be spotty, the good makes up for it. I’ve often thought my spaghetti was good, but Jim’s beats my home made version. Love to order it and it doesn’t disappoint.

Really good pancakes ! They were fluffy hot and buttery. The hash browns were hot and fresh. Even though they were super buzzy on Saturday morning they sat me down rather quickly. Great breakfast!

Great food by far the best jims. Fast service. And the only down side is there is always a line out the door which is good because tl let’s u know the food is good.

Who don’t like football and chicken fried steak? Always a comfortable environment the food is spot on like momma cooked it. The tea could use a little work it’s «south» Texas now let’s have some southern tea!

Come here on the regular with my wife and we love it. Great service and great food, its our comfort food. If you haven’t tried the pumpkin pie then you are missing out!!!

Good service, good place for a quick sit down breakfast. Nothing super special on the menu though.

Underwhelmed. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Told we would have a 5 minute wait. Waited close to 30 minutes. Had the Huevos Rancheros. Meal was okay. Iced tea was awful. Service was good, but not stellar.

I’m a 30 year old bearded man that does not wear lipstick…
So I was surprised to see so much lipstick on my coffee mug. I’ll sometimes just rinse a cup out and reuse it at my house but I expect a restaurant to actually wash used dishes before serving patrons.
Other than that, the food was as greasy as you would expect at a diner, generic frozen bag carrots, etc.
Certain dishes are better than Denny’s, but would be much better if they used real produce.
Summary: The service is great, inspect your dishes before eating/​drinking, the menu is better than Denny’s.

This is the absolutely best location that I have tried. We usually go once a week and we have not been disappointed yet. I don’t know who is cooking back there, but he/​she must have a great love for food because I can taste the difference from other locations. The staff is friendly but the best the best part of this place is the food.
We only go to Jim’s for breakfast so I can’t comment on lunch or dinner items. However, this place makes breakfast just the way I like it. I order my eggs over medium and that is the way I get them, every single time. I ask them to make my hash browns lightly browned and that is the way I get them, every single time. I ask for my bacon to be a little floppy and that is the way I get it, every single time.
I love when the fried boneless pork chop breakfast is available as it is my favorite.
If you are looking for a good place to have a simple, delicious breakfast, this is the place to go.
