Jims Restaurants

I’m only giving one star because my daughter’s chicken tenders were the the only thing that good. When we got there the waitress asked us our drink order twice before we got it. We waited over 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered 2 frontier burgers and chicken tenders. My frontier burger was undercooked and the fries were mixed with old fries and a few fresh ones. I would expect that they shouldn’t have a problem cooking their signature menu item. Service and food were bad.

Horrible service. I am writing this as I am sitting in the restaurant. Not busy at all and been sitting in a booth waiting for service for the past 20 min!!! Not even a glass of water. I asked if I needed to be seated and manager said no sit anywhere you like. I like to try local places but NOT this place. Sorry don’t waste your time

This is the worst Jims in SA. Growing up in this town i remember eating at Jims with my dad and brothers for breakfast and it was great. But the last three times we have visited this Jim’s, it has been bad, worse and horrible!
On our first visit the service was slow and the waitress gave our food to the table behind us. When that table informed the waitress is wasnt their food (after 15 mins had gone by) she just pulled the food from their table to ours (also after they had touch it and everything). I asked the manager for a refund.
The Second visit, we had a male server this time. And service took forever and the restaurant was empty. The waiter acted like we were interrupting HIS job by flagging him down, asking to order food. And when the steak we ordered med rare was well done, his response was «the cooks dont what there doing».
For our last visit, service wasnt that bad. Our lady server was real nice. I had ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs over medium. BIG MISTAKE! When my food came to the table, the breading on the chicken was grey! Yep, grey! And tasted like cardboard! My eggs, that i asked for over medium, were so undercooked that the egg white still had a clear film on it. When we were waiting to pay our bill by the cashier stand, i noticed you could see clear into the kitchen. It looked DISGUSTING!!! Dirty kitchen, raw food sitting out, walk-​in door open for 15 mins, not to mention the male cook who keep smiling at me like i was a $ 20 hooker…
Very disappointed. You would think that Broadway location would have a higher quality of service and food bc of the area but no. If i ever go back to Jim’s, it will be the one on Fredericksburg Rd.

Always a good experience here!!! Wait staff is excellent and food is always yummy! Save room for dessert.
