Don’t get the soup, you could tell its from a can. It’s not just the soup, we also ordered the a desert with strawberry and it tastes like it came from a can. Be careful with what you order

Takes too long. Waitress was rude. Wasn’t greeted. A big mess. Get your attitude right and maybe people will enjoy coming here.

Waited to be seated, even thou 4 employees seen me enter and all they were doing was sitting around talking. Had to ask 2 separate employees for my waitress. I finally flagged her down. Food took too long to come out(over 20 minutes). Had to go to counter to pay without my ticket. My waitress never came back to check if we needed anything else. Had to hunt down the cashier. No one was standing at or near register to check me out. Asked for manager and had to wait another 5 minutes. He offered no comfort. Experience over all was horrible. PLACESTUNK!!! Bathroom dirty. Horrible

Great option for late night food search but the place isn’t very comfortable and clean. The fruits they use tasted different(I know they were not fresh but preserved in syrup…) The service is pretty slow too in no rush hour.

Food was about what you’d expect from a chain restaurant. Fairly standard, unexciting stuff. Our server was courteous and anticipated our needs accordingly, etc. Generally it would be the stuff of 3 star reviews but the bathrooms, ugh the bathrooms. I know it’s IHOP but walking in it you’d think it was a greyhound station. It was smelly, dirty and could of used some TLC. Our visit was mid morning so no real reason why it should of looked so careworn.

We went to this IHOP the evening of Friday July 3rd. We asked the waitress for a refill of our Decaf Coffee. She never brought it. When we left we told the cashier who then called the manager on duty. We said he should at least remove the charge of 1 coffee. He would not. He did not even give us a senior discount nor the AARP discount. This was very disappointing. Two of us had eaten and all 3 of us ordered coffee. Needless to say, we will not go back to this IHOP even though 2 of us live close by.

Typical, run-of-the-mill IHOP with nice service. Using a now streamlined menu(i.e. having not visited an IHOP for several years), deciding on items is easier. Management is friendly and funny past 2 in the morning, and waitstaff no different.

Had Supper here… ordered«Breakfast» Eggs, Ham, and Pancakes. I like my egg yolks runny and the whites solid. Waitress took order, food came out, the egg yolks were solid, sent it back, came back egg yolks were half solid… Asked for hot syrup waitress brought it in a styrofoam dish which she had microwaved it in! Wonder how many chemicals were released during That! Mgr comp’d my meal… Its just sad you can’t be as good as the IHOP in my hometown Ennis Texas!

Worst location I’ve ever been to. Cops welcomed us. I didn’t put two and two together. We sat down and were obstinately ignored for close to fifteen minutes. After receiving our drink orders and asking for food I clocked out meal arriving at 49 minutes. Five tables were occupied in the establishment. Avoid this one. Eat literally anywhere else.

I just visited this IHOP today with my girlfriend and her son. We typically go to the IHOP on Nacogdoches, but were visiting her parent’s so we were closer to this IHOP. I’m used to the employees there being incredibly friendly, respectful, and doing a great job, so I was shocked at how poor the service was at this particular IHOP. There was probably one or two other tables dining in at the time that we came in to eat. We were seated and were then left sitting there for at least 10 minutes without a single employee telling us that they were taking care of us. We weren’t even asked if we wanted anything to drink. This was particularly frustrating after seeing another person walk in a good five minutes after us being taken care of right away. He had his food and drink before we had even placed our order. Explain to me how that makes any sense? We also over heard the employees stating that we had been taken care of when asked by another employee, instead of just asking us of we had been to begin with. So as I was getting ready to leave, my girlfriend told one of the employees that we had not, in fact, had our order taken. She was nice enough and apologized, and the rest of our stay would have probably been just fine if she had served us. Unfortunately, we were given a different server. She was rude from the beginning. She was just told by her coworker who finally checked on us what our drink order was, but made us replace our order. The entire time with a rude tone in her voice, like she had better things to do. As we were waiting for our food to be made, we could hear the employees talking, basically shouting, saying just gross things. Frequently using words like«retarded». After waiting another good while for our food, we notice that they forgot her sons fruit with his meal. So we were stuck waiting for our waitress to show up again, because she went AWOL, basically. So after a good 10 – 15 minutes, we were finally able to flag her down to tell her she had forgotten the food. It should not have taken her that long to see if we were doing okay, considering we were one of probably 3 tables at the time in the entire resteruant. I 100% will not return to this IHOP. If you want good service with your food at IHOP go to the one on Nacogdoches.

Service wasn’t actually bad, they just had one waitress working the whole restaurant and by one I literally mean one person. Bad management

I’m not a big fan of chain stores because I believe in supporting local companies(I’m only here because someone else was paying for the bill and I would never turn down a free meal) I didn’t experience the bad service others got. We, a group of 9, came here for breakfast, we got a table, got our coffee, water, ordered our food, ate our food, they took the plates away. No one was rude to us, no one was giving us attitudes, even when two of our coworker showed up late and we merged tables. We didn’t have the greatest service ever, but I wasn’t looking for pampering either. The food was just what you expected from IHOP. Everyone is out there to make a buck, I have seen some of the dumb request the staff have to endure, and those people that are drunk as heck and think they are funny as heck, trust me, you are NOT. You might be having a great time, but it is at other people’s expense. Before you say, well, if you don’t like your job, leave. Just know that not everyone have a choice. And one more thing, Karma is a bitch

Everytime I come to this Ihop location it’s terrible wait service and miss management! I walk in the door and a customer tells the cashier she’s been waiting 15minutes for a waiter but no on came to take her order an she left, I asked her will this problem be the same for me? She said no sir, and yes it happen to me too… I say people don’t go to this location, it’s the worst managed IHOP ever!

Its IHOP… for my last visit I went in for the All You Can Eat Pancakes… but ended up getting the egg, spinach, mush, etc crêpe with hollandaise sauce which ended being pretty darn good… actually the word i used was ‘savory’ … our server was awesome and was right there checking on us and refilling drinks… go early as it does get crowded on the weekend mornings.

6÷13÷137−8pm CST is when we were at this restaurant. The room temp is uncomfortably cold. No one acknowledged our existence for 15 min and even then it’s only because we tracked down the manager. My daughter’s pancake was ready, but missing a topping so they took it back to the kitchen instead of just bringing us the missing topping. Our drinks only got refilled because we again asked the manager. My order came out in waves — the gravy was cold, my eggs were underdone, I had to ask for my grits three times, they brought me hashbrowns after I asked for grits. My husband’s order was last to come out, but it was inedible — the eggs were overcooked and the meat was burned. Management offered to remove the meals that were wrong, which was all of them, but we only got the«50% Police Discount.» Bathroom looked and smelled like the worst truck stop you can imagine. It took everything out of me not to throw up. Only very hot water came out if the bathroom faucet, one little boy got burned by the water in the men’s bathroom. Manager full of lame excuses(your waitress will be with you in a minute, we’re understaffed, blah, blah, blah). We will never, EVER go back to this IHOP.

I went to this location last night with my sister and a friend. When we arrived, we stood at the front for almost 5 minutes and no one came to seat us. Finally my friend walked further inside the restaurant to make eye contact with someone in the back. We were seated and received our drinks. Then we sat for almost 15 minutes while another table in the same room was being waited on. I’m not sure if they forgot about us or just didn’t care. We tried to get their attention but finally just gave up. I left cash on the table for my milk and we left. We did not appreciate having to wait that long and feel like nobody cared to serve us. I will never go back to this location and do no recommend it to anyone else unless you happen to be friends with a waiter.

Giving credit where credit is due. IHOP has by no means gourmet cuisine, but here’s what they do have, any entire menu with the caloric count listed so you can make smart choices if you want to. The service is pretty decent, they’re open 24 hours a day, and the coffee is pretty good. The food is actually not bad. I especially enjoy the blueberry harvest pancakes. You can still smoke at this location.

I visit this IHOP about five times a month. It’s large with a comfortable layout and we’re always taken care of right away. It has a large smoking section that is used for all customers on weekends when no smoking is allowed. The BEST coffee, I think from anywhere I’ve been to in San Antonio, besides Magnolia Pancake Haus. They have senior specials that aren’t much less in quantity than their regular-priced counterparts. My mom usually gets the 2+2+2 from the senior menu, and I usually get the chicken fingers or their delicious Nutella Crepes. They are so tasty and are served either on their own for about 6 dollars or as the International Passport which is served with eggs and two pieces of bacon AND two pieces of sausage for about 7 or 8 dollars. The waitress, Cynthia(sometimes goes by Cindy) is so nice and attentive and always remembers that I want coffee with a lot of cream and a lot of Equal. Tip her well!
