Healthy Me

A great downtown spot for grabbing a quick delicious lunch at very reasonable prices. The seating inside is limited so it is better on planning on getting your food to go just in case all the tables are occupied. Also at noon there is often a line waiting to order.
They have a very nice selection of hot and cold sandwiches, wraps and salads to choose from. All are delicious and filling. For sandwiches there is a choice of 6 breads and 2 choices for the wraps. I usually with the wrap and will get either the cheddar jalapeño depending on what is getting wrapped. My favorite wraps are the BLT, the Italian and the Turkey Club.
Wraps and Sandwiches are available as combos. The combos include 2 sides and s drink. I’m a fan of the lemonade.
There are 10 very delicious sandwiches to choose from. They are generously sized as well. My favorite salads are the Chef Salad and the Tuna Pasta Salad.
There are Smoothies on the menu that are very tasty and nice any time.
Definitely a top lunch spot downtown.

Great downtown lunch option. There are salads and sandwiches on variety of bread options and sandwiches can be heated up. Pretty straight forward. I like the BLT on a croissant which I spose violates the name Healthy Me, but tasty nonetheless. Two sides Fruit, chips or potato salad Don’t scream healthy either but again — tasty. Very small place with hard working and friendly staff. Good value for a quick option. Not great for a group and I think closed at dinner but great option for lunch glad it is in downtown!

The service is horrible! The lady was so rude & short with me. If I wasn’t in such a hurry I would have taken the time to find somewhere else for a quick salad and coffee. The only saving grace is that you get a lot of food for a decent price.

Food is good. It’s quick and cheap… but their service, jeez that’s another story.
I’ve been here three times, and each time I’ve walked out throwing my two middle fingers up in the air (figuratively). There’s a Hispanic lady, in her maybe early 40s, who is by far the most rude person I have encountered since I’ve moved to San Antonio. Being that I’m a Cali girl, my skin is pretty tough, but this lady just has her way at making you feel like an unwanted piece of gum on the bottom of her shoe. I’m uncertain whether it’s a language/​cultural barrier that doesn’t permit her to come off as friendly, or whether she just wakes up on the wrong side of the bed on days I chose to grab food from there, but either way she needs just a little bit of sunshine in her life.

So much for so little! I was in town visiting from Miami. The motto in Miami is «bueno, bonito y barato». Well this place has all 3!
Tasty egg and ham sandwich with side of fruit and coffee, add a smoothie… all under $ 10. Cant Beat it.

I love this place from the Turkey Club sandwich to the cold pasta. Usually I will order whatever special they run at times its the wrap, those are pretty amazing too. I love the salads the Cesar Chicken Salad, Pesto Salad and their fresh sides. At times I like to pick up a fruit smoothie with protein to skip a meal that always helps. I recommend everyone to stop by and have a hot or cold sandwich with either steamed vegetables, fruit, cold pasta or your choice of chips.

This place is a Down Town Gem…
You would never stop in unless someone told you about it. I am glad I did.
They offer everything from sandwiches, coffee, to shakes. Everyone can be happy with this place. There is also a family feeling here, the people behind the counter were very nice and had great attitudes.
I got the Chicken Salad sandwich. It was perfect. As someone who watches their diet, I was impressed the salad was much more chicken then filler. I got the deal so I go the sandwich with all of the great fixings that you would expect at any health sandwich place. My sides were fresh steamed veggies, which were steamed as I ordered in a bag, and tasted great. I also got a side of the pasta salad. Again everything was very fresh and not overly coated with dressings. Yo also get a choose of any of the per-​packaged drinks from tea, cokes, and energy drinks. All of this for 6.58.
The location is small and they said they get very busy for lunch. I would next expect to find a place to sit unless you go around 3 like I did. I highly recomend this place to all.

Ok, so I’m from CA, don’t hate now.
But, this place is barely healthy.
I’m in San Antonio for a convention and looking desperately for some good, healthy green juice. You know … Kale, spinach, ginger. Well, I walk all 2 miles here and they are no longer juicing. So I end up with a very mediocre pineapple smoothie. Seriously, no one here eats healthy? No wonder I got stuck behind so many wobble-​bottoms today. Depressing.

I ate the Chicken Fajita Sandwich and a side of fruit salad. The meal was a perfect light lunch and service was good. There is a sauce which I turned down. It looks like the put the sauce on pretty much everything and I sure it’s tasty.

This place will surprise you! Don’t let the unassuming exterior throw you off, there’s good stuff inside.
Let’s get to the important tips first:
1. Order a panini on their wheat rolls.
2. They have pepperjack cheese. You want to go to there.
3. WIth lunch you get two sides. See #4.
4. Chips are fantastic with a sandwich, but the pasta salad here is worth a taste.
I had the Italian panini and now I’m regretting I didn’t have one for lunch and take one to go. They put the innards of the sandwich directly on the panini press for just a bit before building the sandwich and putting it back in the press for an extra little toasting.
I opted for Sun Chips (don’t judge me for trying to be health-​conscious) and the pasta salad (see, I know how to indulge). You’ll thank me after you’ve had this pasta salad. It’s nothing to quit your job over, but it’s definitely a delicious pasta salad.
For just over $ 5 (you get a drink with all this, too) this place is a great deal for lunch downtown.

I went to Healthy Me for lunch, today. I had the Turkey club on croissant bread with cucumbers, lettuce, spinach leaves, and a small line of ranch dressing. My sides were pineapples, pasta, and a water to drink.
«Yes, buddy the club was as great as it looked.» Having a great lunch like this, when I’m starving is awesome!” This meal was so good, it made me hate the saying my supervisor always tells me, «Nothing taste as good as skinny feels.»
Healthy Me is always good, I also, get smoothies from them on Friday, when they are on special.

Love this place! It’s really really good! The food is awesome! They have a great selection of choices. They offer a special everyday usually for cheap! Always comes with 2 sides and a drink! They have great fresh lemonade! If I wasn’t on a diet I would try the ice cream! Looks delicious! Very affordable compared to other restaurants downtown!
