Great hotel bar located in the Crocket Hotel. Directly across from The Alamo. Cheap drinks, nice bar staff. They also have a good amount of TVs for sports viewing.

Love this little bar. Heather, the bartender is really the best bartender I have encountered in a long time. She can handle herself well when a group on 20 walks in while still maintaining the conversation with our group of 4 last night. Friendly, fiesty lil spit fire that girl! I recommend a drink or 2 at this place anytime.

To start off the bartender was drunk and very rude. The Broncos were playing Monday Night Football game) and there were only 4 other people in the bar so we asked to have the game put on the tv to watch and after about 15 minutes of the pre-game, the bartender decided she wanted to watch the Spurs game so she changed the game even though she had no intention of watching it. Needless to say we left to go find someplace else to watch the game.

Called to ask if they were showing a fight and lady answered rudely and then just hung up on me.

Ernie’s is a cozy bar, in an historic hotel, has a great happy hour, is a very friendly place. Heather is one of the most entertaining bartenders we’ve ever encountered! She’s attentive, has an amazing memory for both names of customers and what customers are drinking in addition to keeping things lively. I highly recommend that anyone in the area of The Alamo stop in for a drink, starting late afternoon on. I’d say her employer is lucky to have her!

They have happy hour… even on the weekends! And they have free popcorn! The bartender there is super nice — Paula. she pours good drinks, has a nice attitude and very attentive — which is key when you need a refill! They only have one tv, so not ideal for sports watching, but they will take requests to show a game, assuming they have it. I would definitely come back!

Small, dark and cozy. One stormy night, hubby and I found ourselves in this quaint little bar attached to our lovely hotel, The Crockett Hotel. During their happy hours around mid to late afternoon, their well drinks and draft beers were priced really low. However, we didnt quite make it at happy hour, but even in the evening, the prices for their beers are reasonable considering theyre a hotel bar. The music wasn’t overwhelming, and I love how it is a small little quiet place tucked away from the madness of riverwalk bars at night.
