This place is an ABSOLUTEHOLE! I have eaten there more times that I’d like to admit because it’s convenient… but the quality has ALWAYSSUCKED! These people leaving reviews about«how clean» it is and how good the food is are most likely people who consider Golden Corral as «fine dining». I don’t expect much ATALL from a chinese buffet… but is desiring hot food or food that tastes like it was prepared within the last 48 hrs asking too much??? The all male wait-staff are absolute pricks! There is a server there named Tony… one of the older ones… and he is an absolute miserable A-hole! Today was my last time EVER… I’d starve to death first!

Good buffet. Always a great selection of food and great customer service. They have a bunch of food choices and everything is always fresh. I would recommend giving it a try!

Food was not good and the sushi was worse. It had a good selection and the place was clean hence the two stars.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean and orderly. The food bars were clean and orderly. Everything was very good with exception of the honey dew melon which was sour and all of the ice cream was old and had old food film on top with exception of the vanilla and strawberry flavors. The crawfish and crab legs were very good and the fried fish also. The Coca-Cola and sweet tea were to die for! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious food. First of all, I find it annoying that a reviewer cannot give a place a rating without writing an extensive review. Nobody has time for that. Anyhow, I find that it is an injustice that this place only have 2.5 stars. That is crazy. When I come here, the food is steaming hot and fresh in their pans. The staff is continually replacing food and keeping it fresh. The variety is very good as well. They have sushi, steak, and the classics. They offer many different entrees and sides. It’s great. They even have ice cream which is pretty good. The staff can be a bit awkward and sometimes unintentionally rude, but I come here for the food, not to make friends. Overall, this place is great to eat, especially for the price. 5 stars.

We just visited China Sea for the second time. The food is good and the turn over seems quick, so the food is always being changed out. I have a three kids(2,6&10) the kids can find many things to eat here(besides just desserts) the waiter has also been very observant to refilling drinks and not irritated that my kids don’t eat everything on their plates. I am partial to the soft crabs a must try if you have never had them a little salty but still so yummy. My mom raved about the Salmon. Having grown up in Washington we are a little picky about seafood and she gave it two thumbs up. Also right now they have kungfoo panda fortune cookies which are pretty silly.

The place is clean and the price isn’t to bad. The dog meat was a bit dry but the cat meat was cooked perfect and was delicious! Just messing, the food is not that bad and had a good taste but the selection at the buffet was kinda slim and weak. It is lunch so maybe there is a better selection at dinner. I would come back again and try the dinner selection to see if there is a difference.

I have friends who refer to this place as «Vagina Sea», referencing the freshness of their seafood items… long story short, save your scratch and order actual Chinese takeout, or find a better buffet. At $ 12/person, you’d think the quality would be a little higher, but here, it’s all about quantity. Meat is poor cuts, food is underseasoned and bland, and a lot of the options aren’t kept to the appropriate temperature: soups are lukewarm, fruit and puddings are room temperature instead of cold, and most of the fried items are soggy. If you absolutely must dine here though, anything cooked«salt and pepper style» is okay. I would just load up on the shrimp and cocktail sauce. It’s inconsistent whether they clean the shrimp though, so you may need to put in some work. The many«don’t leave your belongings unattended!» signs everywhere should clue you in to the type of clientele that frequent this spot.

Most items tasted bland. The crab rangoon tasted like sugar had been added to the cream cheese. The egg drop soup didn’t have any flavor. We asked for unsweet tea, we were given sweet tea. The server didn’t seem to believe us at first so I am guessing someone mixed up the signs on the tea dispenser. The prices are more than any of the other buffets in the area and not worth the price. We won’t be going back.

Went here for lunch and the food is your average Chinese buffet… The place looks empty and boring.

This was my first time here, and I really enjoyed it. I thought the selection was good and that everything was tasty and fresh. I would say the staff looked pretty board and unhappy to be there and since they’re just standing or sitting around all over, it gave kind of a sad atmosphere. I would definitely come again for the food, but during a weekday lunch hour when the price is much much cheaper than on the weekends.

I’ve been here for dinner probably more times than I’d like to admit. It’s Alright for when you really want to go out to eat but you don’t want to spend too much money. Best time to come is probably when it’s busiest(Friday night, Saturday, Sunday) because the food will be much fresher. The restaurant is pretty big, so even when it is «busy», you probably won’t have to wait for a table etc. I feel a little uneasy coming on weekdays because the food can probably sit out for quite a while without being replaced. I typically go for the seafood: fried catfish, jalapeño shrimp, baked salmon, crawfish, and especially the salt & pepper fried crabs! I go crazy over that stuff. The sushi is «okay», but personally, I stay away from the sushi made with raw fish. It sits out for so long in big portions that they end up covering most of it with plastic wrap. Eugh. But the sushi made with cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese is pretty tasty and most likely won’t make me sick! The Chinese style chicken, pork, and beef options aren’t disappointing. They have plenty of salad ingredients available. Quite a few different fresh fruit, puddings, jellos, and other desserts I’d like to call«mystery desserts» because I’ve only ever seen them at this restaurant and to this day, I probably couldn’t tell you what they’re made out of. In summary, I have a soft spot for Chinese buffets like this, and it can be pretty satisfying if you can find a few different foods here you enjoy so you can eat to your heart’s desire.

Not great, not bad… Selections were uninspiring, dining room was mostly empty and air conditioning was not working. The staff was friendly, but not enthusiastic, seemingly bored. $ 24 for two.

This place is used to be good but over time has become crap. They have become very cheap not letting you get certain foods to go and try to limit you on what you can’t have you feel like someone’s always walking and looking over your shoulder and half of the buffet does even have food on it at times all I can say is there’s a better buffet down the street and till they get rid of some of these rules and regulations

The food is what you would expect of a buffet. There is lots of it and the quality is pretty low. I worry about a sushi bar where the sushi has been sitting out for a long time. I watched children dip a single ice cream scoop into multiple cartons of ice cream. The best thing I had while I was there was the mushroom soup. It was flavorful, well seasoned and had visible mushrooms in the soup. On the other hand It was one way to introduce my grandchildren to some different foods. If they could see what they were choosing it was much easier for them. The service was surprisingly attentive for a buffet. That was another positive. I would not go there for the food unless you are into volume. It would be great with teenage boys.

It’s not great. The huge selection of mediocre food is nice, but it they focused on quality instead of quantity they would have a better place.

Haven’t been to this place in years. It wasn’t like I remembered at all. Steak was mediocre. All the food was warm temperature. Even the pudding that’s supposed to be cold was barely cold. Very disappointed. Not worth the $ at all. Signs everywhere saying not to leave your belongings unattended. Place has gone down since I visited years ago. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

The food was hot and fresh, although we got there at 11AM right when they opened so it should be hot and fresh. The selection is decent. The staff is friendly and the place was clean. Its a very large dinning area so if you have the need to seat a lot of people, this place can do it.

Saturday evening, October 19, 2013. The hostess/cashier who greeted and seated us and tended to our bill was extremely pretty and had a beautiful smile and was very friendly. The waiter was courteous, polite and prompt and did his job very well. The Asian woman I saw tending to the buffet line appeared to be very professional and maintained all of the dishes extremely well, you could tell she took pride in her work, the buffet line was hot, clean, and food was nicely laid out and appealing. Now, about the food! Everything I ate was really good and I could not find any complaint. The Steaks were cooked just right, the salad and assortments were perfect. The Won Tong soup was perfect. All of the chicken dishes I ate were far better than other buffets I have eaten in recent times. General chicken, Sesame chicken, Pineapple chicken, spicy chicken and several other dishes were all perfect. This is the only Chinese buffet I’ve been too that got them all right! The deserts were also great. I had some sort of brown cream coffee cake with puddings on the side. Really, really good. Couldn’t help myself from returning for a second. I never ever return a get seconds on desert, but this time I did. I asked the hostess if there had been a recent management change because I saw such an improvement over the last times I had visited this establishment. She said no, but, it appears to me somebody has been working very hard behind the scenes to really improve this place and I did notice a lot of new people working here since I last visited. They are obviously doing something right here. The only negative thing I saw was that the bathroom could be upgraded. Could be cleaner, fresher and brighter with better lighting and more attention. A little remodeling there would help a lot in making this a 5 star restaurant. So, I will go back again as I have to say it’s probably the best Chinese buffet I’ve been too in a while. I would give it a rating of 4 ½ stars.

One of the best(not one the greatest, but) Chinese buffet restaurants I have dined at. Availability. A lot, delicious, and always refilled on time(at least the times I been there). They offer some non-traditional Chinese menu items, and their seafood(shrimp!) selection is better and more varied than most other US buffets(excellent glass noodles). You will overstuffed yourself, the selection is almost too much. Location, parking, staff and ambiance is good to excellent. Plenty of space for groups. Caveats: Sushi. Sorry, this is for ALL Chinese buffet I have patronized. «Okay» to «meh» to «no»(depended on the day of the visit); stick to a dedicated Japanese Sushi house even if you are looking for bulk, unless you don’t care about quality. Tl;dr: Lots, filling and good to excellent. A must recommend.
