That place should be checked. Reheated and old tasting Chinese food once long ago and never again.

It’s gone downhill, badly. I have been before and it was decent, but this time I was sick for the entire day after eating there. I just didn’t like the quality of the food. There were a few things that were okay. There was a huge variety, but I think they have sacrificed flavor for mass quantities. I won’t go back.

Ate there a few months ago. Very poor quality. Very dirty place. Would never go back and would never recommend!

First off, do NOT attempt the drive through if you own anything wider than a Smart Car, Scooter, or bicycle. Thankfully, I know how to maneuver my Expedition but it was as tight as getting an aircraft carrier through the Panama Canal without someone directing with reflective flags. The menu was simple and easy to read; meal prices range $ 6 – 9. I placed my order for Shrimp with vegetables and proceeded through the drive lane without scraping any paint off the sides of my truck. When I pulled up to the window, the person who took my order was very nice and efficient. I added a Sprite to the order and paid. I waited less than 5 minutes for my meal, packed nicely in a white paper bag. When I got back to work and opened it, I was very impressed by the size of the portion(lets be honest here, there was a LOT of rice, but in my world, that’s a good thing. Still a very good proportion of main dish and rice) and the vegetables were hot and still crunchy-YES! The egg roll was good, and the shrimp(7 large, but not jumbo) were just a tad overcooked but I’m a sushi eater so my assessment might be a little subjective. All in all, it was a good meal for drive through Chinese. My only complaints are that the take out silverware they use is much to be desired; I suggest they ditch the stab-one-piece-of-broccoli-and-it-breaks plastic silverware for a sturdier variety. Also, it would be nice if they asked if you’d like any additional sauces, because if you don’t know that it’s not going to be in the bag, you don’t know to ask for it. I will definitely be returning.

This restaurant used to be a 5-star hole-in-the-wall, but after tonight’s experience… It will have to be knocked down to 2 stars. Lemon chicken was dry. Lemon sauce was coagulated and cold. Brown rice was dry. Soda machine dispensed tasteless liquid. Both unsweetened and sweetened tea taste horrible. The restaurant is filthy. The lightening is dull… seems like an abandoned gasoline station. Bathroom is rundown with holes everywhere. The foundation is falling apart. Though the owner’s heart is in the right place, the location and food has gone down the drain…

Service was not the greatest, the Asian woman that took my order was extremely rude and abrubt. Food was not good, egg roll was so greasy and sesame chicken was bland. I work very close by and love Asian food but don’t waste your lunch hour at this place.

If you’re on Walzem and looking for a fast lunch, then China Rose is a good choice. The owner was there operating the cash register, she was friendly and later checked on me to see how my food was. I had the sesame chicken with rice, an eggroll and drink. My total bill was about $ 9, a little steep for what you get but it was convenient and fast.

Good food you get big portions of food. The owner is a good Christian lady. I like the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice.

Food tasted weird. My friend got the beef and broccoli, but it came out missing the beef. Just wasn’t a good experience and won’t be returning.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time! I loved the fact that the owner is so family orientated and has photos of her family everywhere as well as of volunteer work she has done I LOVETHISPLACE!

A review of the hot an sour soup. This version starts with a medium brown base. Plenty of spices from all the red pepper flakes, but I don’t get much white pepper coming through. Not very much sour taste either. A definite chicken stock note coming through. Now for the ingredients. I noticed it seems to have chicken instead of pork. And I did not see any mushrooms. But, it does have water chestnuts and cabbage. I would call this one different but good.

I have avoided this location for more than year after experiencing sub-par service. Today, I decided to give it a shot again — I wanted cheap, quick lo mein. I’m glad I did. Food was SO much better than last time. Everything was hot and steamy and fresh. Restaurant was clean. Staff was very nice and friendly — even the male employee sweeping the floor who was more quiet than anything else smiled. My lo mein is good — for fast food Chinese. They could have held off a bit on the sauce, but I’ll survive. My daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken. Hot. She’s chowing down. Egg drop soup was super hot and fresh and yum. I’ll come back this time. Hopefully it’s not a one-time deal!

Didn’t taste right to me. If you want good chinese food, go to China Garden on Kitty Hawk, they are extremely decent and have delivery.

Bought a Sesame Chicken for $ 7 for lunch, it comes with a super sized cup for ice tea. It is more like a Panda Express but the food is cooked on order and they bring it to your table. I enjoyed my food and it was plenty. The place have a drive through and the owner is really friendly. Would I come back? Yup.

This is a fast food style restaurant complete w/drive thru. The interior looks like a converted Mexican restaurant. It appears to be a family owned and operated restaurant. I had the beef lo mein. It was good but not spectacular– but what do you expect from a fast food joint? The portions were so large I couldn’t finish it all. I will go back if I’m in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.
