I have gone to this restaurant several times over the years and it has changed and not for the good. As we were eating, a roach crawled on top of the table. I got the attention of the hostess and she saw the roach but did not catch it. We politely left.

Took my little sister and dad for a much needed night out. They had a good amount of options and the food was hot and fresh. Didn’t get to take any photos of the food(it didn’t last long on our plates) but it was all delicious. Will definitely go back to this place in the near future during the day time to see the price difference of the lunch buffet(from 11am to 3:59pm) versus the dinner buffet(4pm to 10pm) Note: For children the charge by height so expect to pay the price of an adult for the lunch/dinner buffet $ 9.95 for taller kids

Visit this restaurant expecting a 9.99 buffet. If you come with that expectation you’ll enjoy your meal. Good selection of food and the service is good too. Like most Chinese buffets, it’s dimly lit and not the cleanest place in the world. Food is kept hot and the sushi is ice cold Not very big selection of sushi but they did have fresh crab legs on the bar and they were really good

Older place with a good selection. Dinner $ 9.99 before beverage(or with water). Older clientele and the kids that are there are not running wild or screaming. Made holding a dinner conversation very easy. Choice of 4(very) hot soups and the dessert choices are also very good. They have a steak and sushi station. The baked salmon was esp delicious. On a fun note, only in Texas will you find menudo next to the egg rolls.

Let me give this place a rating it deserves! People need to realize what they’re walking into and the value they are getting. I visited this establishment on a Sunday, for dinner. It was all day $ 10. The food was exactly the quality you would expect from a cheap Chinese buffet and it was delicious. Yes, it is super unhealthy and full of sodium but you should have known that walking in. The food: I didn’t eat anything I didn’t like, but the salmon takes the cake. They also had crab and crawfish for honorable mention. Also, the place itself is very clean and the staff was adequate.

I would give it no stars if I could, this place is super dirty, I came with a empty stomach, and left with a upset stomach and a waste of our $ 30 for 3 of us to eat nothing. I have the food a try, but it was bland. Also the lady was sweeping all around the food and you can see the stuff fly up. Then they say they make burgers, well I ordered a burger at the grill area, and the man there was mopping the area, and cleaning, he puts the mop to the side and gets a patty with his bare hands, no gloves, no washing them and puts the meat on the grill. I was disgusted. I know this is a Chinese restaurant, but since the variety and quality of the Chinese food sucked, I thought I’d try the burger. Nevertheless we left after my husband saw what happened. I often leave great reviews for restaurants but this one, I will never come back to.

I’m really surprised to see so many bad reviews, but then I also don’t understand why some restaurants’ parking lots are always full when i think they have cheap, crappy food, and I’m sorry i spent my money, like Chili’s, Applebee’s, Magic Time Machine, to name a few. I really like the way their food is seasoned, i like the shrimp fried rice, pepper steak, salmon, Rangoon, grilled steak, sushi, cucumber salad, egg drop soup, steamed mushrooms, noodles, don’t care for dessert, usually get fruit. For a buffet i think it’s great, for a sit down dinner, Golden Wok on Wurzbach is our fav.

This is an all you can eat Chinese buffet, so I will rate it in that context. I usually come here for lunch because it is cheap($ 6.99) and the food is usually fresh with a wide variety to choose from. However, I tend to stick to only a few dishes. I enjoy the jalapeño chicken, the char su ribs, the mushrooms and the whole shrimp. I have never had any of the non Chinese food, so I cannot comment on that. The service is prompt and friendly. This may not be the best food around, but it sure beats fast food and costs about the same.

Pricy, inconsistent, and off-themed foods summarize their selections every night. Expect to pay around $ 14 per person with drink, so you might as well go to a higher quality to-order type of restaurant. I’ve eaten here a few times and the menu doesn’t change, but the quality varies greatly. You’ll sample a few dishes, like one, and get some more, but usually find that the taste has completely changed in the same sitting. Half of the buffet is chinese, whereas the remainder would be their disappointing versions of American foods, such as pizza, chicken tenders, and macaroni and cheese. They have a grill station that no one uses, right next to a sushi buffet station that sits out for quite a while. The exterior may fool passers-by as a mini-mall, but the interior looks moderately impressive. The only complaints would be an open work environment. Their service station to store drink refills, napkins, and to dump dirty dishes temporarily is a booth in the corner of the room. That area smells of rotting fish. They have two or three of their front dining tables used to hold tickets, fold napkins, and store other boxes. On top of all this, the lighting is poor throughout the room. Avoid this restaurant unless if you want proximity and speed over quality and price.

Great selection of sushi, it is so much neater than it was before the soup is good they changed up a lot since before bottom line is the food is cheaper than majority of the buffets and the service was good people were super nice. Just wish it wasn’t as busy when I went it gets a little crowded. But I guess most restaurants the busier the better!

My co-workers and I ate lunch at China Harbor on Walzem, it was awful. One of my friends got some food but then wasn’t feeling well and asked if he could take it to go… they said no. My other friend had water dripping on him(and his food) from a leak in the ceiling overhead. A couple of us had queasy stomachs the rest of the afternoon. Disgusting.

This was one of those ‘shoulda known better’ experiences. I have no excuse not to listen to Unilocal reviews except that this was the closest buffet to us st the time. It would hage been worth a farther drive for better selection and maybe we wouldnt have gotten sick… The staff is decent, just like any other buffet. They dont speak much they leave you alone and they refill your drink which is all I can really ask for with a buffet waitress. As far as cleanliness goes I would give this place a 3 out of 5. Maybe because I’m a clean freak, maybe I’m expecting too much but I feel if I’m going to pay to eat somewhere it should at least be as clean if not cleaner than my own home and kitchen. As soon as we walked into the dining area we saw a vunch of unbussed tables and dirty floors both at the tables and the buffet lines… at this point a little red flag should have popped up in our minds because if the front area that all your customers see is that dirty I’m sure the bsck part and the kitchen are even worse. Food was the normal mediocre buffet chinese that you find at just about every chinese buffet. The only difference is most buffets have a ton of mediocre dishes and one or two really good dishes… this place didnt have any dishes I would call ‘good’. In fact I have bought better chinese from the frozen section at HEB. Most definitely the worst part of our dinner here actually hit on the way home. We were so sick and miserable that we couldnt get home quick enough. I had the worst stomach cramps and nausea and I seriously though hubby was going to puke in the car which would have lead to me puking and crying and it just would have been an awful mess! Luckily we made it home before he threw up and luckily we have 2 bathrooms… We never plan on coming here again. In fact this whole experience makes me a little wiry of eating any chinese or any buffet for a very very long time. I seriously thought we had gotten food poisoning!

Just moved to SA& our kiddos love Chinese Buffet, so we are looking for a decent one. This one fell far short. The staff was fine, but the restaurant itself felt dirty and much of the food was«soggy». Staples like wonton soup and egg rolls were almost inedible. The clincher was the iced tea, which was also not good either.

Visited around 5PM Saturday evening and it was very busy and really noisy. The food was not bad and the plates appeared to be clean so that was good. The employees were all very nice and the waiter kept our table clean of dirty plates. Bottom line is cheap price, lots of dishes to choose from and I found nothing really to complain about. Compared to other like Chinese buffets, it(the food) was maybe just a little bit better. I would recommend visiting in the off hours, because it was so busy and noisy.

I have found it, THISISWHERELUNCHLADIESGETTHEIRTRAINING! That’s right, inexperienced lunch ladies are cooking here! First, many items looked like they had been there since lunch. Second, many items ran out; for a vegetarian whose choices are already limited, this is not a good thing. Third, there was an obvious gnat in my soup. Fourth, our waiter was aggressively sweeping around the table in the dinning room. To me, sweeping while patrons are eating is not acceptable. The best thing about this place is the nice appearance of the buffet stations and the very disco music(the Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor, etc) I will not return and I highly recommend that you DONOTVISIT.
