Under new management as a bar and restaurant. Server was good. Food, unfortunately, was not up to par. Ordered tempura which was not made with a light panko batter, but was heavy and greasy. Also got the crêpe at the suggestion of the server, which was also super greasy. Chef said was due to the coconut milk in the batter, but was nearly inedible. Pork belly was fine, just over spiced with the five spice and was not trimmed well. Following this went to the bar next door and my wife was the only nonworking woman in the place on halloween evening.

food was never bad, but now apparently this location doesn’t deliver anymore. Nor do they ever answer the phone so that a to-go order can be placed. When I tried calling the other two locations to see if they delivered to my area now, neither one could say yes or no. Worst customer service experience ever.

I really enjoyed the food in this place we went a little over 3 months ago and I don’t recall what I ordered but I do know it was good otherwise I wouldn’t be leaving a review. The waiter was nice as well. One thing I will complain about was the very sticky floors.

I had the triple delight-dry chicken, chewy beef, and two pieces of shrimp. Mainly giving it 2 stars because it was not worth almost 13 dollars. The fried portion size was small for the price. I also got 2 cheese rangoons and a pork egg roll those were sweet and extra crispy.

We have been long time delivery customers when the location was on 1000 Oaks. The restaurant is much closer no to our neighborhood. Seems the food has gone down terribly since the location change. The shrimp in their dishes have always been small compared to other delivery places. Now it appears they use the small shrimp for all dishes. My sis ordered fried shrimp and I had the appetizer sampler platter. I will not order from China Garden anymore. I have never seen crag rangoon so big but it was burnt and very dry, not creamy. The rest of the food was fried to dry and tasteless. Not recommended at all.

This place is hit or miss. Loved how this was close to where we live, but on two different occasions ordered take out and had the food soo got it literally burned they the styrofoam even the steamed rice. Gave it another shot after complaining a couple of weeks later, food was better in that parchment paper was put down on top of plastic which helped. But Came back a week later & ordered crab Rangoons to go which are usually very creamy. cream cheese this time was curdled on one side, missing on the other half, from over frying and the Rangoon tasted old and was oily. Sucks because this is in a good location and has so much potential. When called to speak to manager during the«styrofoam incident» was told that the manager was busy but would be corrected, so when we took food back manager was supposedly all of a sudden not there. Staff seems inexperienced and frankly acts like they really don’t care or that our concerns aren’t valid. Wish there was some consistency to this place, will more than likely not go back.

So confused by previous reviews! We had the best Chinese we have had in this town. So glad to have found a good Chinese restaurant, as we have tried 5 others and been disappointed. rangoons were amazing! Great sweet and sour chicken; cooked well and quality chicken. Husband had the egg drop soup, and that was just ok… too thick. Overall, very quick service, great food and pleasant employees. We will be back.

We ordered for delivery and this was possibly the worst Chinese food ever! Not one thing we ordered was even adequate — never again — old, stale, gummy, dish water tasting awfulness.

Ordered the General Tso’s chicken with fried rice and the plate itself looked presentable. I proceeded to try the fried rice and it tasted undercooked and hard. I mean the rice was stuck in between my teeth. I then told the waitress of my concern, she said do you want so more tea… Wow. Save your money and take your chances at a mall for less money and more flavor. On the other hand, the chicken was ok. Not overcooked and it wasn’t spicy.

I will give them credit for giving the location a rehab. But that’s all I can give credit for. Here were the downsides. 1. Almost every customer tried to walk in the wrong door. Need better signage while still under construction. 2. The night we were there was chilly and our table got a blast of cold air every time someone walked in. 3. The menu type was way too tiny to read comfortably. 4. We ordered but did not receive a Dumplings appetizer. 5. The General Tso’s Chicken and Steak tasted like the frozen stuff we make at home(fine for home, but not at a restaurant). The broccoli could have benefited from steaming. The 4 – 5 stalks were raw and dropped onto the plate. 6. The Pepper Steak was mostly uncooked onion chunks; very little steak. 7. The food was not very warm when it arrived at the table.
