Burkes Outlet

Lots of selection but most is not our style. And we are two women who hate shopping! So we got 3 shirts, 3 slacks, and 3 sets of sheets in 30 minutes! SCORE!!! Lol.
Feedback on sheets:
London Fog are soft but keep coming off throughout the night.
Nautica sheets are SCRATCHY! Hope they get softer.
Izod sheets are soft and stay on the mattress throughout the night!
Nautica were most expensive but my least favorite. I will definitely buy Izod again!!!

A pretty decent Burkes. If you are unfamiliar with this chain of stores, you can easily compare it to Burlington Coat Factory but a bit smaller. This chain also goes by the name Beall’s Outlet in other states, my Beall’s ONE card was accepted.
Basically, brand name (or kinda brand name) goods, at reasonable prices. Very hit or miss. I typically stop by here weekly to see what they get in, quantities are limited and never expect to find the exact same thing twice. I enjoy shopping in all of the departments, in the home area you can find pet goods like dog beds. I’ve bought Tommy Bahama towels. I’ve gotten stationary for my work desk. I almost always find a kitchen-​something that I need. My husband enjoys getting Izod golf shorts and I sometimes find the occasional dress. I almost always find shoes for my hard to fit size 11 shoe, and I’m quite picky about what I put on my feet and body. Check out the jewelry section, they are typically right on trend with cheap fashion jewelry that looks more expensive than it is. The handbag area is not my cup of tea, but you can spot some decent finds.
This particular location seems to well kept and clean. I enjoyed that fitting rooms, while no frills, where clean. The store was merchandised well and everything was easy to find. Stock levels seemed a little low, but I’m finding that to be a trend in San Antonio in general. So I can’t complain too much. The staff was nice enough although I couldn’t find anyone to check me out at the back of the store.
Overall, I will return.

Burkes Outlet is located between Target and Bijou Theatre. It’s a neat little shop kinda like Ross but somehow better. There’s lots of clothes and accessories for women to look through. The shoe section didn’t seem that big, the home décor was awesome, and I also liked the kitchen equipment! There was men, and children’s sections as well as bedding and a couple different areas of books. There were lots of swim suits to browse through. In the early part of the day the store was empty of other customers. This store was nice and clean and the lady working the counter was very helpful with giving me some store info (since I couldn’t find it on Unilocal) I definitely want to visit this store again, there was a few women’s tops that I really liked and want to really look through the home décor again.
