Bill Miller Bar-B-Q

This location is very bad with getting orders right and quality control. I always have issues with both things at this location. I try not to go here. But it’s close to my place of business. When not in a hurry I got to the one off 37 and Alamodome. Just cause I don’t have that issue there. Never have. But this location here always. If they wouldn’t be so worried about not putting things in your order to save money example ketchup, napkins, pickles and onions they might get the order right. Or not serve you a soggie sandwich.

Do you realize that this location is the ORIGINAL Bill Miller Bar-​B-​Q? Well it is. As a kid I remember going to the reopening of this location when the city opted to change the street name to Bill Miller Lane. There was a parade and a huge celebration for Southside San Antonians that day. What a great day to remember!
My parents still live in this area and every so often I will come over to this location to get some chicken or po’boys for us on Sunday nights. Service is always fast, the dining area is always clean, and the staff is on top of their game with cleaning up, serving fast, and overall saying hi and goodbye to anyone that walks through the front doors. I appreciate this about any business and it makes me so happy to see the original Bill Miller location still stay true to the type of service & consistent food as I remembered as a kid.
No one beats the OG Bill Miller location… except maybe the OG Luby’s location :)

First time ever eating at this chain restaurant. I ordered the Poor boy sandwich with beef and sausage mix. It was freaking amazing. Best barbecue sandwich I’ve had in a long while. Get some ranch for dipping sauce it compliments it very well.
I’m a new Bill Millers fan… plan on visiting many more times while I’m in San Antonio.

Bill Miller’s is always pretty consistent. I just can’t get the time that my friend got moldy hashbrowns out of my head, so it sort of killed it for me. I liked their sausage and bbq sauce though!

Still the best fast food BBQ you’ll find in SA. The brisket is tender and the price is right. Help yourself to all the bread, butter and pico you can handle. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.

Food is great but watch out. Make sure you get everything you ordered. Our order to go was missing sausage and sweet tea. When we came back in and pointed this out the cashier was argumentative. We ended up just leaving but I guess we should have talked to the mgr.

I love the food here! The best ranch dressing and fast friendly service.
