This place is awesome nice location bartenders unbelievable charm the owners have made the name Sugartimes a great Sports bar. Best. prices an specials the best. Will return to visit.

This place was ok, apparently under new management. The sheriffs deputy posted out front to frisk men entering may give you some initial pause. They do have some great drink specials like $ 1.50 Lone Stars and an assortment of shooters.
The problem with this place, at least on Saturday night when we went, was that the music was so excessively loud you could barely hold a conversation with the person sitting next to you. It was loud enough for a venue four times its size. Kind of ridiculous.
Otherwise there was the usual guys that would hit on my wife once I left to go to the bathroom… gotta admire their confidence I suppose. One of them had $ 1000 boots on which he was excessively proud of. Pretty funny.
A fun place to hang out though. A step up from a dive bar for sure. Minimum on the credit card is $ 20 remember

I came here one day after work and ordered a Lone Star Light and had a good chat with the friendly bartender as she was watching an episode of COPS on the TV. Since I came early there were only two other people there having a drink outside on the patio so they can have a smoke. If you’re a fan of tiny, hole in the wall dive bars then this place on the SE side next door to a Bill Miller’s is for you.
