I haven’t even eaten my sandwich yet so this rating has nothing to do with the food. This is about the service, Brandon who was on the register SUCKS. I can’t tell you enough, absolutely HORRIBLE service. A hi would have been nice, as that’s what you should say to your customers right? Say something instead of staring with a dumb ass look on your face. Tried charging us an extra sandwich, then also tried charging us for two drinks when we order one that was free. My first time here & I have heard so many amazing things about it but thanks to Brandon, my experience has been ruined. Horrible customer service can ruin you.

It’s my first and last time here. I got the signature medium wicked sandwich and a drink which cost over $ 13!!! The sandwich is ok. The staff is friendly and the environment is pleasant. It’s an over priced average experience.

Overall I think this place is decent. I deducted stars because it’s not quite as good as let’s say JJs, and it can get very very slow during peak hours. It’s close to an open campus high school and the military base so from 11−2ish I’d say it’s going to take you about 30 min to get a sandwich and since it’s supposed to be fast food, that’s not really an acceptable time frame. Also there is very limited seating and often times not enough seats for all the patrons. They have a large variety on their menu and it is very easy to customize your sandwich. Lots of choices including lettuce wrap and option to make a bowl. But it is also a little on the pricey side when you make it a meal. I will say they have sandwiches that a lot of places don’t have… They have gyros, monte cristo, and even BBQ pulled pork with slaw. If I could give this 3.5 stars, I would because it’s not really a 3… But just short of a 4.

Driving through on our way to home to San Marcos. Decided to stop because sandwiches are supposed to be FAST. It took exactly and HOUR to get both of our sandwiches out. Yes one whole hour. A BLT and a turkey sub. One was supposed to be a warm sub and it was not… Ridiculous. We won’t be back.

Loved it! With me not eating gluten this place is a go-to in San Angelo(where it feels like healthy food is banned). I had a bowl –wich which is a salad with anything you would put on your sandwich. Next time I will try their lettuce wrap. Thanks for saving my Foodie butt, guys, or I’d starve in this little world of deep fried everything, pizza and tacos.

Sloooooow, incredibly sloooooow. Clever idea having the shopper make all their choices on a paper sack and hand them in. Clever notion hanging the orders on a clothesline with a clothespin and having them slide along the assembly line. However, when you see your sack hanging in front of some guy who has no notion of how to make a sandwich in time for the current meal, the system seems less clever. I just wanted to see our sandwiches in the bag. Not bad sandwiches but we just couldn’t smile. While I was waiting, some poor soul cam in to pick up his on line order, but it had slipped through the cracks. End of the line for him. Long on yuppie — short on hustle.

I wish I could give this place a 3.5. Overall, we are satisfied. We might come back and give it another shot. The good stuff: lettucewich was HUGE and more than enough for me. Sandwiches have a perfect ingredient to sauce ratio. House chips are fantastic and spicy mayo is a perfect companion to almost anything! The negatives: bacon was skimpy on BLT, the ingredients on my lettucewich were not placed evenly at all(meaning the second half of my sandwich had no meat or cheese on it), and it was too expensive for what we got(two small sandwiches, one chip, one drink).

This place is amazing! I came here for the first time expecting a subway type sandwich– but I got the best damn sandwich I have ever had. Seriously so delicious made exactly how you want– I’ve been doing it wrong for so many years. Never going to another sandwich place

Just moved here and I’ve stopped here for lunch about 6 times already. Love it. Delicious and customizable hot or cold sandwiches. An amazing break from subways everywhere.

I would rather not eat than eat here… The tables were dirty, the windows were greasy, the format was awkward. What can I say about the sandwich that has not already been said about a McDonald’s toy… Poorly made and should be thrown away. When I asked the staffer if he had any sprouts his reply was. «Huh?!» It was the same response when I repeated it. I’m pretty sure they had to go to Kuwait for some of the ingredients as it took 20+ min for the sandwich to come out. If your going to charge me 10.27 for a sandwich and a drink please at least be quick about it. Sorry to seem riled up about this experience but it was pretty rock bottom. Really, I don’t like bashing people on Unilocal that is the only reason they get an extra star of pity. Step it up.

I enjoyed my caprese lettuce wrap sandwich. The options abound and are very tasty. I’ll definitely return.

Still really good at being slow. The food is still a success story as well. Worth a 30. Yes, 30 minute wait for your order? …well, it was already placed. Maybe call ahead ordering works bettet?

They have a great way of placing your order they have different categories and in each category there is a bag to choose from. Once you choose the bag you check on the bag itself what you want on your sandwich then take it up to the register for checkout. They pin the bag on a line and they read what you have checked to create your sandwich, it’s really cool and a new way of doing things. The sandwiches are really good here. I love subway but personally they have them beat. Also try the shakes they are really good. The place has a nice modern feel to it and ask about the rewards card.

Wow, a place where the sandwich you get looks like the sandwich on the picture! I’m impressed. I like the set up and they kept the line moving. We waited probably 10 – 15 minutes to place our order and maybe another 10 to actually get the sandwiches, but they pushed out a LOT of food in that time– the place was just that busy. I had the shrimp bahn mi and it was very good. Nice fresh, crunchy veggies, great spicy sauce, and they didn’t skimp on the shrimp. The bread also tasted very fresh and had that nice crispy crust/soft interior balance. Lots of other things on the menu that looked good, too. We’ll be back!

I’m so glad I stopped in! It took a minute for me to figure out how to order my sandwich but once I did it was on! There’s so many toppings and bread choices it takes a minute to get it all down but their check box menu makes it easy. Just take your order to the counter to pay and they call you when it’s ready. The 3 times I’ve been so far they have been a bit busy with a wait of just about 10 – 15 minutes. Belive me it’s not a long wait for what you get! Each sandwich and lettuce wrap I’ve had has been so delicious that this is my favorite sandwich shop in San Angelo! Not to mention their shakes are really the best I’ve ever had! Prices on shakes are just $ 3, $ 4,or $ 5. Sandwiches are a little pricey but not when you look at what all you’re getting. My mouth is already watering for my next visit.

Alright, I admit it looks iffy because it’s new, and San Angelo, and we all know that«new» and«Angelo» just don’t happen. That being said, this is a quaint deli that has been PACKED the three times I’ve been here since it opened. They had their typical computer issues, and the manager handled the situation well. I will say that it has a metro feel in the sense that you pick a bag out of an assorted group of ‘Wich«family groups.» You fill in some dots, bringing a small amount of childish joy in the«fill in the bubble» type of order form. They have a «kids bag» which is awesome, and outdoor seating under a wooden awning. My mother-in-law’s favorite is the«Elvis Sub” — a delightful sandwich that has bacon, peanut butter, banana, and honey. I haven’t tried it, but she’s sent me in the middle of a work day SPECIFICALLY to get that darn sandwich. The shakes taste a little fake, and it’s a little pricier than I’d like, but those are my only complaints for this new deli shop. Try it. Give it a chance.

Needed a good sub shop! Expect it to be busy, yall. Be patient– and nice! The owners are here helping and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. The few owners I met are from the area and want happy customers as much as you want a happy belly! With a new place come little hiccups like running out of your favorite chips. It’s just how it goes! Yes I’m slightly biased because I opened a restaurant of my own when I was 18 and ran it for 5 years. They’ve done well and will find their groove cranking out food in no time :) Don’t forget to bring your cup back for discounted drinks.
