Love Red Lobster but this location is awful. Appetizers was cold then comes the salad, and if you want a lot of stalk or core in your salad, then you came to the right place. Well, after a long wait, we order NY Strip with Rock Lobster Tail and came out cold. Steak on top of mashed potatoes, really? Is just frustrating to order hot food and get cold or warm food.
Waiter had great attitude.

The food was pretty good, but I had to deal with a receptionist with attitude. There’s never any reason to be cross to a paying customer in the restaurant industry.
The cheddar biscuits might have been the best ones I’ve ever had. The waiter was very nice and well trained. Gadi, the waiter, was knowledgable and easy to talk to. He was prompt and kept our drinks filled. I suggest asking for him and asking for extra biscuits.
The manager came by the table and was quite friendly also.

I’ve been to many Red Lobsters throughout the country but I have to admit that this location is the best so far. I expected just regular quality food since this is a chain that I’ve frequented in CA and CO, but I was pleasantly surprised at the good food quality and friendly wait staff.
I subtracted one star for the non-​functioning call transponder. We sat at the bar for 35 minutes and wondered why we hadn’t been called to a table. When we went to check at the front desk, we were told that they called us 15 minutes ago and we didn’t respond. It was then that everyone realized that the call transponder wasn’t working or lighting up.
Nevertheless, I would go here again if ever in San Angelo.

I can’t give it anything but 5 stars. Red Lobster is a chain and you know what to expect walking in. Service was great and food was fresh. The restaurant was clean and staff was busy keeping it that way. Everything you expect from Red Lobster but don’t always get at every location.

So the food was great… When we got it. Apparently they are having a lot of trouble in the kitchen where sometimes it has been down to one guy working back there and the waiters/​waitresses have been scheduled for 9 days straight. That aside, our appetizer didn’t come out for an hour and fifteen minutes. We got our entrees before the appetizer. So the server complained to the manager and the manager refused to take the appetizer off our bill. Really pissy about it. Our server Matt was great but I wouldn’t go back there unless I was literally going to die without seafood, which isn’t going to happen.

The Red Lobster in San Angelo has a horrible manager… one day I took my wife and children. He was flirting with the hostess… asked if we could get seated after we waited and waited, he turned to the hostess and said: ‘better get this *ssh*le a seat.’ My wife and kids heard this jerk… we just walked out and went someplace else.

This is a well managed establishment. Service was done with a smile from the hostess to the wait staff. The food was fresh and wait staff was very attentive. The restrooms were very clean as was the rest of the restaurant. The endless shrimp was piping hot and tasted great. My kids food was the same. We will definitely be back when in San Angelo.

GREAT EXPERIENCE: Our waiter was super friendly, funny and had some great knowledge of the restaurant! Waiters like these make businesses grow to the empire Red Lobster has become. Our food was served nice and hot. The place was spacious, had great booths, and dim lighting for the romantic type.
The atmosphere is super calm, the waiters/​waitresses are always there to cater to every need.
I had the endless shrimp and my wife had the half pound king crab. To say the least I want expecting much from this place at all. I mean we are in the middle of no where with not much around, and to expect a restaurant like this to exceed my expectations is shocking.
This place has a very different layout than other locations but definitely stands out. I say if your your hungry and want a nice night out, then go here. BIG two thumbs up!!!

Okay, listen. I understand that I just gave a Red Lobster five stars. Now, let me inform you that this is strictly «five stars for San Angelo quality.» It was about freaking time we got served dinner with a smile! People in this town either don’t care about Customer Service or they just really suck. I’m thinking it’s a mix of both.
Our waitress – a short blond girl – was one of the best servers we’ve had in our nearly 5 months here. She was friendly, fast, and kept drinks full. Something diners might take for granted, but in this town, it was nothing short of miraculous.
The food was typical Red Lobster quality, but it was good nonetheless! :)
