The fish was great! So were the onion rings. The service was outstanding! ! Can’t wait to go back!

Very homey, great service, good food and it’s fast. We tried the chicken fried steak-in Texas, you know it’s gonna be good when the steak is served over the gravy. Everyone was very hospitable and warm-the place is clean and attractive décor. We would definitely go here again!

Fried catfish isn’t bad, but they cut them into strips supposedly to cook them faster. Onion rings are good. Shrimp are flattened and were not fried as crispy as I would like them to be but were still tasty. Asked the waitress if they used romaine or iceberg for their salads, she said iceberg, so I got the coleslaw… funny thing is that they use romaine as a garnish for their onion rings… what a waste. Unless you’re a real big eater, get the reduced portion option, you will still leave with a full belly.

Found this place on Unilocal looking for catfish. Pretty good food I had the all you can eat catfish and chicken tenders for an extra 99 cents it was good fish and chicken although i will say the chicken tenders are seasoned better than the catfish, catfish could use a little more flavor, but they do have decent tarter sauce and hot sauce to help you out. I do wanna say my waitress was awesome. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. I will be going back

Good food, good service, friendly down-home folks… plus, they have internet. What’s not to like?

It was just ok. Went for the first time yesterday. The sides were a little boring and the catfish would’ve been better with more cornmeal in the crust. Not bad, though. Just not Catfish King or Catfish Villiage.

Really great catfish strips. The hush puppies were awesome as well. You really get your monies worth for the amount of food. They make sure to give you a FULL plate of food.

The food might be good, but I wouldn’t know. My girlfriend and I waited over 25 minutes from the time that the order was placed until we just got and left. We both ordered the lunch special and they didn’t have any ready

I used to really enjoy the catfish here before the fire It seemed like it was always hot and fresh fish. Now that being said, I ate here last week in the new building and ordered the all you can eat fried catfish. And it was unlike the previous food here, the catfish fillets or cut very thin ¼″ thick and had a chewy outer part to it. Guess what I am trying to say this is not the same fresh fish it seemed frozen and then cooked. The new Building is clean and spacious and very good and fast service. But the fish falls short of previous meals here.

The unsophisticated Unilocal reviewer strikes again! Lots of catfish, unhealthy sides, & a diner atmosphere await you at this establishment. The catfish is definitely tasty and cooked to order so if you’re going for the all-you-can-eat crown, it might take some time. No worries though as the friendly waitstaff will tell you stories of their childhood or the failed attempts of other customers. Listen, the food is great, service is very attentive, & the atmosphere is very diner-licious, so if you want southern style seafood at it’s best, look no further than Catfish Corner.
