Busy lunch crowd but moved fast and the food was perfection!!! Great people working at this location and it was very nice to see so many happy people with their food.

A great place to go for lunch! The food is wonderful, tastes homemade and very fresh. My meal was delicious and the portions are generous. The only downside is we had a large group, and it took quite a while to get our food. So if you’re in a hurry, probably not the best choice — but if you have time, it’s a great choice!

Make sure you let them know how much dressing or sauce you want so they don’t destroy your sandwich. The ingredients are ok, not great quality. I got the pastrami and the only thing I could taste was the horseradish in the mustard.

I work right around the corner from this location, and today was finally the day that I gave this place a try. While this place isn’t awful, it definitely isn’t something that is going to make crave one of their sandwiches. I got the chicken pesto sandwich. It was good, but that’s just about it. The pesto sauce was a little bland, and I didn’t really taste it at all until I got to the last few bites of my sandwich. Like I said though, the food isn’t much to rave about. The portions were large which was nice since I got to wrap up the other half of my sandwich and save it for later. It was $ 10 just for a sandwich that was edible, but nothing fancy. I don’t see myself going here again, but it wasn’t bad; it just wasn’t great.

Nice and economical choice for a sandwich near the Salt Palace convention center. Our party tried the turkey avocado(just a little avocado on it but tasty), roast beef and the chicken sandwiches. Everyone said their sandwiches were good and liked the bread they used.

I was just in town for a quick visit. After walking to temple square, I was really hungry on the walk back. After I found this place here on Unilocal,I dec fed you be it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! The sandwich was delicious. I ordered the turkey avocado. With the warm toasted bread that had crunch on the outside, with a soft center; and the little bit of zing with the vinegar, it was scrumptious! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I got the Prosciutto and it was delicious! Long line, but they were super quick and friendly. In town for a convention. Will probably go back tomorrow to try their Rueben.

These are some damn good sandwiches. Service is good too. Expect a wait, though, cause the quality is no secret. One con: price is a little steep. One Pro: polish candies.

The food is probably a 4 star, the total experience is 5. And the owners are great, so they are getting my extra star. I really feel like what I get at Toasters is exactly what I ‘hope’ for when I go to a local deli. We also have lunch catered for the office from Toasters and I think they really try hard to go above and beyond. The salads are fresh, sandwiches have a lot of meat and toppings. If you are catering or ordering for take out probably don’t want to order a warm sandwich. Which is tough, because their toasted sandwiches are the best. Tuna is real good. Turkey and avocado is also a solid choice.

Totally loved the sandwich and soup! Got a spicy buffalo chicken. Though it was toasted, it wasn’t really warm, which was kind of a disappointment. The chicken noodle with seashell pasta soup was delicious, though! Great ambiance. Feel like they had 80s pandora station on repeat-which I enjoyed! Besides the not too warm sandwich, I will totally return!

I’ve been here about 5 times over the years, usually it is wonderful. My last visit was dismal… Good quality has degraded significantly. My ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwich was served cold. Which is odd for a breakfast sandwich. I figured it would be a hot sandwich??? Even the egg was cold thigh it had burn marks from being cooked. I think this might just have been some bad staff as my past visits have been good. I’ll give it another chance but if it’s repeat like this then I will avoid from then on.

My absolute favorite sandwich EVER! I don’t know what they do to make a simple tuna sandwich so scrumptious but they do. I make a point to have one every day that I’m in SLC… I’ll have 6 tuna sandwiches this week and I couldn’t be happier about it!

I stopped here after finding my intended restaurant closed. I am glad! I ordered the daily combo, and they were low on the soup… Chicken Tortilla, which was great, so the manager gave me me an extra bag of chips and a dessert bar. Not necessary, but a very nice offer. The sandwich was great, service fast. I will return.

I was in town for a convention and my friends and I fell in love with this place. I had the salmon salad. It was huge and very very tasty. I can’t remember what everyone else had but heard no complaints and all praise about the food!

Had lunch at Toasters yesterday. Ordered the Reuben sandwich and the macadamia nut cookie. Both were excellent … staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Ate there with 4 others and positive feedback from all! We were downtown yesterday(Sunday) and was happy to learn Toasters was open. I would definitely return.

I would not have last Outdoor Retailers without the good coffee and fresh great tasting breakfast sandwiches from Toasters. My favorite was the turkey & avacodo on wheat or bacon, egg & avacodo.

Nifty sandwich shop near the Salt Palace in downtown Salt Lake City. The place has a cool vibe and a good selection of sandwiches. I had a turkey avocado sandwich which was excellent! (I don’t remember the last time that I used the word«nifty», but it fits for this place).

For what it is, it’s the best! This is where everyone from the Salt Palace goes to eat and after having it recommended to me about a dozen times, I finally broke down and tried it. It’s just a simple sandwich shop but the ingredients are fresh, the bread is the kind everyone loves and the selection covers a wide spectrum of tastes. I am a vegan do I got the Caprese and it was great. So now I am one of those people recommending this as a local secret find that more than fills the bill when you are just looking for a quick sandwich

This is one of the best SLC sandwhich shops. The staff here is always friendly & the owners really seem to care about their customers(they are often present in one of their two locations). I can’t think of a sandwhich I don’t recommend here but I usually go for the crab with avocado. The salads are fantastic too!

SUMMARY: Was at the convention center for OR and stopped by for some sandwiches. Had a very long line — not a lot of food options in this area. Good/typical sandwiches, but nothing particularly special or unique — just good sandwiches. WHAT I ORDERED: Turkey/avocado sandwich and reuben sandwich. —-MORE DETAIL — - FOOD: GOOD: Nothing special, but fresh ingredients and definitely don’t go sparse on the fillings. Very hearty sandwiches. I wasn’t a big fan of the type of bread they used, but that’s my personal taste. SERVICE: NEUTRAL: Caveat they were really busy and it’s order at the counter style, so there was nothing special but nothing bad either. AMBIANCE: Casual sandwich shop.
