Cute, European style deli and coffee shop in downtown SLC! Finding a coffee shop that’s open in SLC can be a bit challenging. So happy to find this little oasis! Just got a coffee, but their sandwiches look great! A full range of European chocolate bars and snacks complete this authentic deli experience. Americano wasn’t the best i’ve ever had, but i was happy to have it! Bonus points for a cool, weird back hallway to get to the restrooms. I live for hidden spots and tunnels like these! Stop in for a tasty bite or hot, caffeinated beverage!

This lil sandwich shop is scrumdillyitious! I’ve had several items on the menu– strawberry salad, pesto chicken sandwich, caprese sandwhich add prociutto, chicken salad wrap add avocado and even one of their breakfast sandwiches – ALL of them were delicious! They make a great Americano too. This is just an all around great little place. The staff is great, they are nice and quick and open to adjusting(adding on/taking off) ingredients on the salads/sandwhich. If I worked in this building full time it would be hard to resist the temptation to not eat there everyday!

Unbeknownst to me, there’s a Toasters here! This makes location #3 for the little local sandwich place, and this is one teensy little location, hidden in the lobby of a small highrise in downtown SLC. Just across the street from the Marriott on State Street, you enter the lobby of a multi-story office building. Push forward toward the wall and then turn to the right. Voila. The ordering counter. There’s a massive chalkboard to your left with the sandwiches printed there, and then a few seats hidden behind a wall. Like, seating for 10, max. Size notwithstanding, it’s got what you want. Delicious sandwiches, drinks, chips, and a couple of efficient employees making it all happen. I had a turkey avocado. For just over $ 8, it comes with a decent sized sandwich and a healthy portion of chips. The portion was healthy, no the chips. Oh, delicious salty chips. It’s served pressed(kinda…more like with grill marks) and warmish. But I’ll be darned, it was delicious. Everything in the right proportions, to be sure. These guys know what they’re doing. They definitely cater to the business lunch crowd… and speaking of catering, I’m sure that they do that too. I’m told they’ve been here for a long time. I don’t know how many times I’ve driven by and not seen it – there’s a neon sign in the window away from the street a ways. Here’s hoping more people find this location, too.
