Jimmy John’s

Why anyone would go to Jimmy John’s now that Jersey Mike’s has a few locations in the valley is beyond me.
However, it is consistent mediocrity; so if you’re in the mood for something quick and «fills the hole,» then Jimmy Johns is ok.

Friendly & Fast…
I’ve visited this location 3 times in the last 2 weeks and every time so far the staff has been incredibly friendly! Each time my sandwich has been ready in under 30 seconds from the time my payment was complete! The food is not expensive and the taste was good (I typically order a #11, Turkey and Ham). Today I went in for lunch and the cashier complimented my tie and asked how my day was. I replied, «It’s been alright, although I’m feeling tired and unfocused» she replied, «Looks like you could use a sugar boost» and handed my a free chocolate chip cookie! It made my day :)

Came here for lunch with my coworkers and it was super packed. Apparently a lot of people want jj. The place is a bit tiny so there really isn’t much seating.
What can I say about this place? It is like you typical jimmy johns everywhere. Their menu is practically the same and the food I am sure will come out tasting relatively the same. Their sandwiches are super delicious esp if you go super size with tons of meat. Their cookies are super delicious.
One thing I found about this place is that the cashier I got talks as fast as those people in the jimmy johns radio commercial. It was kind of funny.
Anyways back to the main thing which is their sandwiches. The meat cuts there are super delicious and flavorful. They know just the right amount of sauce to put in it to make it good.
All in all, if you are craving for a sandwich and want it quick and fast. Jj is the place to go. Totally recommend it.

I’m a #16 kinda guy. I was doing the #12 for a minute. TBH any of their sandwiches would be amazing because of their bread! Delicious!!! Their cookies? Once you try one, you’ll have to get one all the time. Another location had a health code scare. And they actually were on the ball about the whole thing, my location told me all about it. Some employee didn’t tell their manager they threw up on their shift. Sketchy. Anyway. Jimmy Johns! Better than subway and anything in the City Creek food court. Sorry Chick Fil A. (Gross).

What’s not to love about Jimmy John’s? Good price! Good sandwich! You can add extra toppings for free! I normally go for #2 beef, with added sprouts, cucumbers, and red peppers. JJ gargantuan is very good if you are very hungry. Lots of options. They are as fast as they promise. This location can get very busy during the down town lunch hour, but they are very fast, so not a big issue. This is my go-​to fast food sub joint.

Best JJ in all of SLC. I go at least once a week. Sometimes I go in or order in the app. Never messed up an order. Always freaky fast! I think the record for me was in and out with a sandwich and chips in 30 seconds. They’re always generous when I say extra, they get it. I could eat here for days. Fun people clean dining room. The best!!!

I love everything about Jimmy John’s and this location was no exception. Friendly, great staff and delicious subs. Simple ordering and fast service. The location was very clean. We would visit again!

I’m usually a huge Jimmy Johns fan. Great sandwiches, super fast. But my 1^st & only experience at this location sucked. I ordered from a friends condo less than ½ mile away. First I noticed my cookie was missing & called them back. Not a big deal. Then as I sat down to eat & cut my sandwich in ½. At that point I noticed my sandwich was totally wrong too. (Missing onions, peppers, Dijon mustard & avocado!) I called again, they called the delivery person back & promised to send a cookie & the correct sandwich to my location as soon as the delivery person returned. The sweet delivery person dropped off my cookie & new sandwich. I hate to mention that again they got my sandwich order wrong a second time. (Now missing cheese, tomatoes & cucumbers. But the previously missing items were on it.) I called again & told them they obviously weren’t going to make me the correct sandwich after 2 attempts. I got some bs excuse that the guy was having a bad day. No offer to comp the «meal» or refund my card. No offer of my next sandwich free. Nothing… which is total bs. From now on I’ll order from the location on 400S which has never messed up an order ever.

JJ’s #2598 is located on the ground floor of the World Trade Center at City Creek (aka: Eagle Gate Tower, Eagle Gate Plaza, Kirton McConkie Building, etc.). It’s less than a half mile from the Capitol, Temple Square, City Creek Shopping Center, the Salt Palace, and more.
If you dig «subs so fast you’ll freak,» this is the place for you. They actually do make sandwiches pretty quickly (I can be in and out in less than five minutes), and the sandwiches are good. They also deliver via bicycle (the delivery guys are legit, and look like they’re straight out of Premium Rush or one of the «big» cities).
I generally enjoy their giant club sandwiches on the thick-​sliced 7-​grain bread with peppers added, but their french bread is good too. It seems like they’ve got a sandwich to satisfy most preferences, and the prices are acceptable.
